None of what he said is untrue, but none of it matters. Stelter - and more importantly, Stelter's masters - have no sense of shame and there is no morality to be found. The ends justify the means in all cases, and the cash will flow from their masters regardless because complete control of messaging is more valuable than the money that it requires. It doesn't matter if no one trusts them, once they finish killing off everyone in opposition, they'll be the only game left. Even if no one believes them, no one will know *what* to believe or what is true. That is nearly as valuable.

If memory serves, when Stelter was just a little fingerling potato, fresh out of college, he started some kind of "digital media" thing. Maybe it was a Left-wing version of Drudge? It was something like that. So unremarkable I don't even recall what it really was.
Anyway, everyone was really high on digital media at that time, and Stelter sold himself as a wunderkind in that area. Got him a gig at NYT as a media reporter, then the CNN thing. He's just a fat fraud, though. He's an example of the Lefty grifter.

Story also said that the same company (Proterra) sold electric buses to Duluth, and they've also had to take the buses out of service, because the buses couldn't handle the hills on the bus routes. The electric buses would start rolling backwards (down the hills) when they were stopped. (This was in addition to the too-heavy batteries cracking the bus chassis problem).

I've hated B&J's almost since their inception. It's nasty ice cream. Too much sugar, too many things crammed into it, then their politics is the icing so to speak. It's depressing that I know so many "conservatives" that eat that shit, buy Nike and Levis, use Gillette and watch the NFL/NBA. Damn, we're all a bunch of suckers. Yes, but all the Left does --as far as I can tell--is merely THREATEN to boycott a company or product.....and the company folds.
Part of this--like Melania never being on the cover of Vogue--is pure class division. Many advertisers feel that Lefty types have more money to spend than "freedom phone" normal Americans so they play to that crowd's virtue-signaling sensibilities.

I've got a 50 year old White Mountain ice cream maker (crank). It's been over 25 years since I made ice cream with it though - it really is a 2 person ordeal. But damn, just vanilla ice cream made with a bunch of egg yolks is phenomenal. I'd never made a batch that lasted an hour. I've considered an electric, but really the last thing I need. I'm looking forward to the opposite of massive and rapid weight gain.
For some reason, Santa Cruz has a bunch of fantastic creameries (Palo Alto did at one time), Marianne's and especially The Penny are insanely good. The Penny is cool because most of it is seasonal, and locally sourced. I've never had a mint chocolate chip like theirs. thepennyicecreamery.com

Actually I've had a yam ice cream that was gray (made from purple yams) and it was pretty good. The texture actually works - I see why McD's used mashed potatoes in their shakes. Garlic ice cream? For tourists at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Which reminds me - I'd better get my business done, it's going to be a living hell at the end of the week on 101.

Small is good, because I'd eat however many quarts that White Mountain would make. Which was never enough. My ex got a cuisinart ice cream maker back in the 90's, it was a piece of shit. But pretty sure they've improved on things like motors and manufacturing since then.

Yeah, you'd think it might have occurred to one of these geniuses that before they laid out tens of millions of taxpayer dollars on a couple dozen electric buses from a company without a proven track record, maybe they should just buy one bus and try it out on Philly (or Duluth) bus routes for a year or so, just to make sure the bus could actually handle the job.
