Christopher Snowdon, who heads the Lifestyle Economics unit at London's Institute of Economic Affairs, was appearing on the newly launched GB News network when he uttered the words many of us have been waiting to hear spoken openly. 'The political reality is that Boris Johnson is going to have to stop advising people to fly less and eat less red meat and find ways of forcing people,' Snowdon said. Unspecified 'draconian actions' and 'meat taxes' were mentioned.Come and take it. Woman loses 149 pounds by walking. Well, and some dieting. When her colleagues started a walking challenge, Roxanne Mullenberg decided to participate. At the time, it seemed like the medication for her under-active thyroid was finally working correctly and she wanted to cultivate healthy behaviors to try to lose some weight. When she started the step challenge in February 2020, she weighed 358 pounds. "I tried different things as far as trying to better my own habits," Mullenberg, 42, an assistant vice president and project manager at a bank in Fargo, North Dakota, told TODAY. "I was like, 'This will be great for me. I'll start doing this. It'll give me a different motivation, a different challenge and accountability.'" ... A month into her step challenge, COVID-19 caused the country to shut down and her life changed dramatically. Suddenly, Mullenberg was working from home and helping her son, Ryan, 11, with home school. Exercise then gave her a chance to reflect and she found herself walking even further. "The walks became such a good mental break and stress release," she said. "It became both a physical and mental benefit when I would do the walks, which was great. Then I'd bring my child out and obviously we'd both have these fun adventures roaming around parks." Mullenberg was walking three miles but soon increased it to four. As she began feeling better with the increased activity, she noticed she wasn't losing weight and decided to examine her eating habits. And then she threw some dieting into the mix. She also had a thyroid that wasn't working right and got medication for that. Still: 149 pounds since February 2020. That's a ton. I've continued walking six days a week, usually from 3 to 5 miles. My GAINZZZ improved this past week. I lost about three pounds. Not bad. What about yo' GAINZZZ? Any READINGZZZ? PROJECTZZZ? PLANZZZ? Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

I feel that lady on the thyroid problems. Getting the meds right can be quite a challenge as we often need "numbers" that are in a different part of the normal range and not all doctors will work with us. She's awesome! And getting the meds right will often lead to stuff like this as we remember a time when energy was real and not fleeting.

It was too hot to walk much today, but I am like walking at the cemetery or near where there's the pond with red sliders. I enjoy thinking about the people who died, some of whom I didn't know but who were meaningful to our church. About to finish up 1776 by David McCullough and begin his biography of John Adams. I enjoyed reading in 1776 about some of the chaplains in the Revolutionary War including the young Philip Vickers Fithian who came from N.J.

A district court judge in TX (Andrew Hanen) has ruled that Obama's unconstitutional DACA program is . . . unconstitutional.
The judge has also issued a nationwide injunction requiring all federal agencies to stop administering the illegal program. LOL. Count-down to how long it takes Dims to demand that SCOTUS rein in these district court judges who like to issue nationwide injunctions. (It was totes cool when Hawaii judges did it to Trump, but Biden is noble and pure and good, and thwarting his illegalities is just wrong!) SCOTUS may finally have to rule on the constitutionality of the Obama unilateral amnesty grant. They dodged on a procedural issue the last time, but they can't do that forever. Not that's it's going to matter. With Biden blatantly ignoring federal immigration laws and aiding and abetting millions of illegal aliens to enter the U.S. every month, none of this will matter for long. Statement from the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter With the publication of Pope Francis' latest motu proprio, Traditionis Custodes, which has placed new restrictions on the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, many of us are disheartened and anxious. At this point, it is too early to tell what all the implications will be for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, but we assure you that we remain committed to serving the faithful attending our apostolates in accordance with our Constitutions and charism as we have done since our founding. We must strive to see this Cross as a means of our sanctification, and to remember that God will never abandon His Church. Our Lord Himself promises us the necessary graces to bear our Crosses with strength and courage. We must not, however, neglect to do our part as faithful Catholics; let us pray and offer sacrifices in our daily lives, and trust in the intercession of Our Lady, St. Joseph, and our patron, St. Peter. Posted by: Too Bad Costa Rica Sucks at July 16, 2021 05:35 PM (oWBc3) This raises a number of questions and contingencies. Will the fact the election was stolen ever be allowed into the mainstream? I always thought that Antipope would be a brilliant name for a historical metal band. Inflation -- does not affect the asset owning class bans on air travel - not a problem if you own a jet shutting down hair salons and restaurants - watch them get around it terrible schools - not for them On and on. To maximize your walking, do some light weight lifting before you walk. Some simple goblet squats, other dumbbell exercises, and some pushups or something for like 10-15 minutes before you walk will make your walks pay off much more for weight loss. You don't even have to do full on sets or anything either.

Read the BRCC interview and it was like 4 quotes and 40 paragraphs of the NYTs opinions about people. They didn't really say anything too controversial but their words were used to continue the portrayal of people on the right as being racist rednecks who are bigots. Stereotypes that BRCC founders believe to some extent because they think these people exist but are too stupid to realize that the NYT thinks everyone on the right is this.
It is behind a paywall so most of their customers wont read it but will read reactions about how they trashed their customers. Chances are they get pissed at their customers again rather than themselves for being used by the NYTs or at the NYTs for using them as a weapon against their customers. High teens. They want to do more blood tests and an MRI. See where that is and then maybe a biopsy. I'm not keen on the biopsy as I've heard some downsides as to whether it's transperineal, etc. any thoughts?
Posted by: Marcus T, Libertad at July 16, 2021 06:06 PM (eZshs) Wellll, at least they are looking at more blood tests and an MRI before the biopsy. If a biopsy is in the cards go trans-rectal. I had a procedure (related to my PCa) that went trans-perineal...I would not wish that approach on my worst enemy. Of course it they knock you out first, then go for it. The TR biopsy was actually pretty painless. They gave me one Valium prior to the procedure and that was that. If they give you antibiotics post biopsy, don't let them give you Fluoroquinolones...those can cause tendon ruptures after the fact. There are other options available from the pharmacy. There are traditional social norms that godless fear-Karens have self-deputized themselves to violate. After all, who but the godless would live in fear of a disease that is almost 99% survivable for most people to the extent that they self-deputize themselves to be the authority? Also, I'm only about 40% sure that this exchange even happened anyway. There's a lot of bluster and lying in internet exchanges.
Jussie Smollett says he was mugged by two white guys in MAGA hats shouting that downtown Chicago was "MAGA country". That two MAGA people could live in Chicago sounds possible, that they might accost somebody remotely possible--that they thought Chicago was "MAGA Country" makes them so deluded as to remove it from consideration as representative of anything. And that was the first detail where I started seriously doubting the story. -30 degrees was another big factor. Posted by: Axeman at July 16, 2021 06:19 PM (XHhHI) 191

Gainzz not happening until I increase serious exercise to 5-6 times a week. Still no hockey, though there may be some ice time available. Kind of hot for blading at the only place one can get much of a workout. Swimming twice a week, should be 3 unless I get back to other stuff. And have to increase to 2.5K yards and a faster pace. Biking remains difficult because only pleasant (heat-wise) place to ride is the coast, with its summer traffic, and drivers are so dangerous only a few routes anywhere are acceptable (have to stay on dead/empty roads/streets as much as possible).
Mixed-weight high intensity workout classes that ended with shutdown turned out to be a key thing, I think. Haven't even checked, but only a zero "policy" environment at a gym is acceptable (no idiotic masks, no ineffective/irrelevant "mitigation" nonsense, period). I quit FB for the second time just now.
Something's up with my iPhone. A few weeks back, notifications started pouring in 8 to 12 daily, from sites and apps never before doing it. I had joined FB at its inception last century and never used it at all, then quit it in the run up to the election. It's not an instantaneous unsubscribe, which you know if you've quit. Supposedly not a quick re-up either, or so I assumed. But following a bunch of notices yesterday and today, notices saying hey you might want to befriend X, with whom I am maybe 4 degrees separate from, I get one directly from FB, saying sign on again, we've made it qiick and easy. So I did, and told them to get the fuck out of my life and never return. And that Biden stole the election, that 1/6 was a peaceful protest of that theft, that China's CCP delivered us the virus. Marcus, Hope for the best, but plan for the worst: If you're not already exercising, START! Regardless of whether you take a surgical route, or a hormone/radiation approach, you need to be in the best physical shape of your life going into this. You should train for strength as opposed to cardio in the time available to you prior to starting any course of therapy. Big secret in the fitness and weight loss female dominated area is that Anavar is widely used. It is about impossible to find now. gf went to order some last night, and all the reputable places are sold out. She will take it for 6-8 weeks in very low does and then take DHEA for 8-10 weeks.
That shit will make fat melt off a woman in all the right places, build lean muscle without making women turn into a dude, and it won't reduce breast size and natural curves. And sex drive and orgasm intensity goes through the roof. Personally, I won't run test or gear because I have amazing hair. Doctor wants me to try Ipamorelin, which stimulates the natural HGH production to double or more in most people. You have to eat a shit ton and make sure you can consistently sleep 7-9 hours a night or it's basically worthless. 2 of my frens take it and have basically zero negative side effects. But right now I continue on the 36 eggs a day routine, which is amazing. Raw Egg Nationalism! Posted by: Widespread Pepe at July 16, 2021 07:48 PM (3fKGe) 290
