And that's mostly a cause of the 20th century I think. They narrowed the Thames so it flows faster in London now than it used to. It's why it pretty much never freezes now. Not from "global warming" but because of technological tampering.

Don't they have other actual uniform options? I remember hearing discussions about it before and most of the women's beach volleyball teams preferred the bikini bottoms due to sand. But remember in Brazil and I think 2018 they were wearing other things mostly due to the temperatures.

There is a reason for that - to get you to the *right* human being (if done well; if done not-well, it dumps you into the correct automated loop that also sucks).
And you can have what you're talking about, by the way - but it costs. It costs a lot. I have a business internet line for my house because I need some business features and I want bandwidth prioritization. My internet bill is $150/month and it is only middling fast. But the support is *excellent.* When I call in, the system validates my account based on my phone number (or if on an alien phone, I have to enter my account number). Then I get a human within four rings and that person helps me with whatever or handles a hand-off very gracefully. It's expensive, but the support is actually *good.*

264 216. Yes. Flu vaccines every year. Given all the flus out there in any one year, an estimate is used to help you ward off the flu. With the reason being at least some influenza introduced into the body in low dose will cause the body to produce antibodies. Perhaps not a specific one on one match. But those antibodies will be activated if a flu is the introduced to the body.
Otherwise, given the myriad of flues in any one season, it would be impossible to pick a specific flu antibody to match year after year.

what is really exciting is that viruses compete for turf (people) and one successful strain can block the others out. Of course if there is sufficient inoculation in the population to suppress that one, the OTHERS pop up.
I think that is the explanation for why year after year they have record inoculation rates for the flu and still have "bad years" and "we inoculated for the wrong strain" I think we should be moving to a treatment based model for respiratory diseases.

This is related to something I thought about back when it became clear that the professional epidemiologists were all in the tank and untrustworthy. We maybe shouldn't even have professional epidemiologists and their institutions. If a problem like this comes up, partner with insurance companies to lend out their best actuaries and let them do the statistical modeling. They actually tend to know what they're doing.

So there are some that won't be as resistant as others. Those people got sick already or got vaccinated already. TBF, probably not. Once you see the real numbers on vacc injuries, the vacc is prolly worse than the delta variant, which spreads quickly, but doesn't seem to make people as sick overall. Delta is probably a good thing. It will induce herd immunity a lot faster than the shot. Since 1 the shot only improves your immunity by 1% in absolute risk terms. And 2, a lot of people wont ever take the shot.
