Epicurious Cooking Website No Longer Publishes Beef Recipes, Because They're "Pro-Planet"

There is no end to the wokification of hobbies. Cooking, knitting, Magic the Gathering, comic books, RPGs; movies and sports -- the Nazi infiltrators take over each and every hobby and group to make sure you are never free of constant pro-Nazi propaganda messaging.

The channel What I've Learned did a very good video about the newest leftwing propaganda offensive, explaining that everything they're saying is a lie, and is known to be a lie:

The literal minute I heard Trump's public statement on our withdrawal from the Paris Accords, I yelled at the computer.

Not a word about the substance of the problem - the outlandish and implausible hypothesis that human CO2 contributions change the climate. Just that it was a "bad deal" for America.

There was some spade work going on at EPA to finally reintroduce science into science, but of course there was zero support the Beltway GOP, and not enough time.

We've seen this a lot in recent years - one big organization/institution make the bold move, and then everyone after them quickly falls in line behind them.

58 According to the short movie, 3/4 of the available land devoted to agriculture goes to livestock. Well, 100% of the available land devoted to agriculture goes to people. If a cow drinks 660 gallons of water in its lifetime, the average person must drink at least that much, if not more.

People also use 100% of the metals and gases that we dredge up from the ground, and 99.99% of the lumber in the world as well - the rest goes to those pesky beavers.

Why don't we just go full Jonathan Swift and simply eat people? You know that's where they'd like to go, if they can simply get that Overton Window moved enough in that direction.

Meanwhile, working stiffs like me settle for 73-27 ground beef and the pork chop special.

Let's return to the days where broke-dick layabouts eat like broke-dick layabouts and working folks can still afford the good stuff.

This woke shit has been going on for awhile now in the food publishing world. Insanely heavy emphasis on vegan/vegetarian recipes and lots of focus on "exotic" recepies you can't pronounce, made with ingredients you can't find outside of big cities. But plus also you'd better not try to make those exotic recipes Whitey because then you're "appropriating" their culture.

124 ANother thing about epicurious: their bon appetit channel was a high visibility victim of wokism this past summer.

During the lockdown, the bon appetit channel cooking shows became a huge hit. Good content, engaging people, a surpise win for them. But then. . . the internal strife over POCs not getting featured, not enough ethnic food and non-POCs presenting the ethnic fodd blah blah blah. So, the channel shutdown, and when it came back, most (all?) of the popular (white) cooks were gone and it was POC chefs, ethnic food, woke AF.

So much drama it inspired a podcast series to cover it all: https://tinyurl.com/2389ubda

1. Raise non-cattle food animals - which leaves the "problem" unresolved.

3. Reduce the human population...significantly.
4. Force people to eat frankenfoods.

know if people could poop in space or how that whole process would work,
so they set out to find the most digestible food, the food that the
body would absorb the most of and produce the smallest amount of poop.
NASA found that prime rib was the food that the human body absorbed the
most and produced the least waste.

The official name was the Low Residue Diet. Low gravity does strange things to the human body because it isn't designed for it.

I've been binge-watching The Expanse and they point this out, putting the science in science-fiction.

Here's the thing. Scoldilocks will be fine with YOU eating bugs, but probably has his/her own supply of beef. And if he/she does not, well, he/ she probably can afford it.

This is all about forcing their will and their rules on YOU. The rules do not apply to them. At all. We all know that.

The only way this will stop is if the non-woke start pushing back on social media and doing things like boycotting.

361 202 Sigh...generally speaking, cattle are grazed on land ill-suited to grow human crops. Getting rid of the cattle means adopting one, or more, of the following policies:

1. Raise non-cattle food animals - which leaves the "problem" unresolved.
2. Clear cut land which can support human foodstuffs.
3. Reduce the human population...significantly.
4. Force people to eat frankenfoods.

Someone should ask these people which approach they are advocating.

Imagine a world were you have to eat what the state provides. The Earth is doomed. And supplemental oxygen canisters are everywhere. Then there are people like Brian, the main character, and his father who have a secret farm in their house that is illegal. Brian's mother and sister vanished a year ago and the State is desperate to learn where these people are vanishing to.

And many modern reviewers on Good Reads talk about is how the ecological disaster in the book is so much today. While missing the point Brian and his father are subversives, rebels against the all controlling State.

It's an insidious way to eliminate our God-given and Constitutional rights, without openly demanding it.

Which is why, eventually, America will be Communist, or there will be a second CW.

442 NASA has spent no telling how much money on developing a decent space toilet. They had one on the Shuttle that was some vacuum operated thing. It was problematic. Peeing wasn't too bad for men, but then womyns in space required all sorts of peeing engineering.

I remember reading something about what they use on the ISS. Some new improved Space Shitter.
Posted by: publius, Rascally Rapscallion of a Poperin Pear

Way back in the 1990's, the company I then worked for, made some impregnated carbon to adsorb the odors from the Space Shuttle toilet (waste holding tank). It did indeed operate on a vacuum, but it did have to be vented into pressurized space to equilibrate the pressure in the holding tank when not in use. And from what I was told, the astronauts were about to mutiny if this odor problem wasn't fixed, because it smelled BAD after they had been up there a few days.

443 I drove past a herd of cows grazing on ranchland the other week, and I saw one that had THREE prosthetic legs! I had to know what was up, and as luck would have it, two ranchers were just a little way down the road mending a fence.

"Hey, do either of you own the herd back that way?" I asked. One piped up, "Yeah, they're mine." "What's the story behind the one cow with prosthetic legs? That's amazing." I say.

The rancher starts to go into a long story about how this cow once saved his wife from a marauding pack of coyotes. I tell him that's incredible, but what about the legs?

This time his friend goes into a tale about how the cow once saved HIS son from a housefire that destroyed the entire home. Again, amazing, but I want to know about the legs.

The owner starts in about how one time he was attacked by a swarm of killer bees, and I stop him. "I get it, this is a cow unlike any other. But in none of these stories did he lose a limb. How did he get the prosthetic legs?"

"Well..." the rancher finally replies, "...a cow that special...you can't just eat her all at once..."

448 They won't need to. Like they've done with every other long-term
subversive campaign, they will change the cultural norms first through
media/entertainment lies and gaslighting. There will be a flurry of
high-profile academic studies in the headlines decrying the dangers of
meat to health and planet. Then corporations will go along with it
"voluntarily." You'll see some big burger chain, for example, make a
splashy declaration of going 100% meat-free. The policies and rules will
follow.

You mispleled "nudging."
