Hayes Brown is slow and unsophisticated. I don't know him at all, nor have I read any of his stuff before the quoted tweets. It doesn't matter, it is still apparent.
If he were sophisticated in the use of critical theory for the purposes of narrative marketing, he wouldn't have made the argument he did. The attack was very clearly not racially motivated per the initial data. Claiming otherwise is foolish and doesn't help his case. He should have channeled the nuances of critical theory to make a better argument: that the perpetrator, as a white man in a white-dominated society, felt entitled to execute indiscriminate violence as a consequence of his inborn constructed societal privelege.

Somewhere along the way Maker's Mark got ingrained in the culture as the go-to "premium bourbon" probably because it was one of the earliest, best marketed "small batch" products of the large distilleries. I prefer almost anything to MM, particularly: Bulleit (for medium bodied, a little "raw" in a good way), Basil Hayden (for a light bodied/great for a dry Manhattan) and of course the venerable Woodford Reserve (to me "the standard" high quality, full bodied, well balanced bourbon).

The internet and apps and loosening of sexual mores and delay in age of reproduction together all have led to an almost harem-like kind of dynamic where women can delay real relationships and fuck around with men way above their caliber who would never consider them as mates (why wouldn't men who are 7-10 fuck well beneath them if its just causal or one-offs?), which leads to a lot of less competitive men being shut out of the sexual marketplace. If a woman isn't really an adult until she moved into her own home, it meant getting married and you could tell yourself that the sod hut was only temporary and at least you didn't have to live next door to his mother.
But you got married and you tired to improve yourself to get the best husband possible. Men tried to prove they were a good provider to get the best wife possible.
We could probably use more of that, maybe emphasize the economic partnership rather than love and sex. Puts it back into a framework that people have a little more control over.

Unreasonable expectations drives a lot of it (looking at Hollywood and tv producers here). But I'm ringing the alarm bell here guys, marriage is basically only still an institution for certain classes at this point, and it's not because these people are somehow inherently more viceful. This is extremely true. Aside from the TV commercials, I get tons of catalogs in the mail. Like, a few dozen each week. This is no exaggeration, but just within the last year, nearly every catalog features models that are 80+% black, or that mystery "what are they," which could be Asian, could be black, could be Hispanic. There are very few whites. It's really shocking, tbh. It's very blatant and impossible not to notice. Especially considering the actual demographics of America.

The best thing to do to attract a mate is to have a goal/career and be working steadily at that and not spending a lot of time looking for a mate.
Women are attracted to men who have a purpose and have achieved a lot of their goals. And that they're not preoccupied with going out and getting laid. Unless that's all you want but eventually you run out of prospects. You get older and the girls out at night are getting younger and you can't spend all night running around like you used to and then it becomes too late to find anyone worthwhile as they're all taken. It's worse for women timewise.

But, they support broken people in order to destroy their competition more or less for themselves and children. That is the rotten heart of today's society.
The people that need guidelines, boundaries, education, and societal normalcy the most, are the poor and lower middle classes. Because they lack the insulation that the rich and powerful do if a loved one goes off the rails. Hunter Biden is a perfect example of this-he literally fails upwards.

I don't disagree with this assessment, but where else are they going to look? Of the other traditional places that two single people might meet:
Work: Not if you even remotely value your career because HR is just looking to fire people over this sort of thing.
Church: Religious affiliation is dropping faster than Kamala Harris in a room full of potential political patrons, so it's sorta viable but with very questionable longevity.
Stores and such: Robosexuals aside, this segment is increasingly automated (thanks, min wage increases!) and store staff are under severe pressure to keep the line moving so no time for small talk.

I'm skeptical because the assumption seems to be that nice girls don't go to bars, which I don't think as been true for a very long time now. Sure if you meet in some bar three sheets to the wind on Spring Break, or get hitched dead drunk in Vegas, that's probably not a formula for success.

I remember years back, Falcons in the Superbowl, and just before the big game a bunch of players got busted by vice at some place that had a name like "The Gold Club" or something. Then boom they lost. I laughed.

Women with a bachelor's in ethnic studies or the like are a great example of the market imbalance. They think they're a catch and can marry a doctor or something ridiculous. Obviously they're not keen to marry the unskilled or low skilled laborers who would be more their speed.
And in aggregate that creates a massive shortfall. The women are unmarried and unhappy about it(once they hit their 30s) but don't see any men they would be willing to marry. The men are just unmarried and pissed.

Probably depends where you are. In NYC its super common for both men and women to go to a bar alone after work and order a drink or two and some food before going back to your shitty little apartment.
In other places ive lived it would be weird for a normal girl to go to a bar alone or even with her friends unless it was like a clubby type bar. And that is absolutely not where you want to meet chicks unless you like stds and crazy girls.

Due to a bunch of reasons I won't go into there are more women getting bachelor and masters degrees than men. That's not to say the men are stupid or poor but they're working blue collar jobs and many women feel uncomfortable with the disparity.
And research has shown that they have a point. Just like it used to be with religions. The more areas of convergence the more likely a pleasant match can be made. The more at odds the more likely not.

When the military starts shooting civilians, it has long term effects. It led long term to the PRI losing power (Mexican army shoot up a lot of student protesters in Mexico City circa early 70's) and more or less the military retreating from any political role. Costa Rica, abolished its military for fear of coups and seeing what Somoza and other nearby nations used his National Guard for. And I can give other examples.
In a civil war situation, you will end up with something like Lebanon or Yugoslavia where the national army disintegrated and paramilitaries flourished. A diverse military simply makes it more likely to disintegrate rather than maintain its structure under internal threat. Remember, military members have family members too. Would you think well of other members of your unit if they shot your family? Would your pension matter at that point?
The other threat is to the politicos, if the army is required to maintain order, it will be ripe for a Napoleon to unite the country by getting rid of the politicos. Also see Turkey and the Young Turks getting rid of the Sultanate.
