I saw a video clip from a few days ago in which *Resident Biden is concluding some sort of teleconference and says something to effect, "OK, I'll take your questions now -- or whatever you want me to do, Nance." Well, apparently, "Nance" didn't want Joe to do anything because the screen just fades to the White House logo. It was obviously unplanned because the sign language lady was just standing there with a perplexed look on her face.

I'd almost feel bad for Slow Joe if it weren't for the fact that he has lived his entire like as a bullying, lying and generally despicable person. I just look at it as God being a just judge and giving Joe a little taste of what is coming when he finally dodders off this mortal coil.

A few weeks ago I asked a fire fighter friend how they extinguish electric vehicle battery fires.

He said "Oh you mean like a Tesla or something? The answer is you can't. You cordon off the area, and spray a fine mist of water on the fire to try to keep the temperature down until it finishes burning. Takes a few days until it is safe".

So, if it catches fire in the middle of a busy intersection? You're f'd. Oh, and the lithium fumes are highly toxic.

True.

The other thing to realize, is that this is not "just politics." This is actually a religious conflict in which the Godly (and pagan followers of Natural Law) are pitted against Satan and those under his thrall. Collectivism requires the violation of the Deadly Sins of Envy, Anger, Sloth, Covetousness, and Pride.

Yes, but I'm increasingly no longer using the Left/Right terms. They actually date from the time of the French Revolution when the Jacobins sat on the left side of the parliamentary chambers and the Monarchist sat on the right.

It's early, but two books which have completely switched the paradigm on how I perceive collectivism are The Devil and Karl Marx by Paul Kengor, and Christ versus Satan by Father Robert Spitzer (particularly, the lengthy section the Deadly Sins). The Marxists/Maoists are following an evil ideology, not just immoral.

The book is essentially book 5 in what will eventually be a 7 volume series on moral and spiritual development. The first section of Christ versus Satan presupposes that you have read the first four books and are ready to attempt to emmulate the Christian mystics such as SS Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross. But the remainder of the book is pretty stand-alone and I found the discussion of the Deadly Sins quite illuminating.

Ryan uses his geeky looks to allow him to be an in your face prick at every opportunity without being called out on it, except by even bigger pricks like me. This is nothing but a cash grab for Cheney, whose electoral future prospects in Wyoming are nil and probably isn't personable enough to cart her carpetbags elsewhere (see Katshit, John). In retrospect, the best we can hope for when someone shows unbelievable tone deafness after having achieved prior success is Eric Cantor, who took his stunning primary defeat in stride, acknowledged the will of the voters without any "conscience" insults, and trotted off quietly to his consulting cash explosion. And didn't keep making a pest out of himself.

There are a number of great DIY sites for maple syrup RO units. It's really quite easy. You can put it together for about $250. The commercial RO system suppliers have taken note and rolled out hobby-scale RO units like mine for $400. Prior to this year, the cheapest commercial systems were over $1,000 and way over sized.

195 Friday marks one year since the state announced the first confirmed COVID 19 case in Colorado, and to honor those who have lost their lives to the disease, Governor Polis will hold an "Evening of Remembrance."

The Governor asks that if you have building lights, turn them magenta at 6 p.m. Magenta represents universal love: compassion and kindness.

203 Speaking of pets, I was walking Teddy a couple days ago in a local park and stumbled upon a red shouldered hawk, male I think because of his orange coloring, perched on the side of a boardwalk railing over a marshy area. I'd heard them for a while but this was the first time this year I'd gotten close to one. I think this was one of a nesting pair from last year maybe returning to use the same nest. He flew off after I took his picture. Neat birds.

Things like this reminds me that-

roughly 50% of the US population is below average intelligence and they now seem to be in charge of our culture.

BONUS!

The other roughly 50% above average intelligence isn't being educated in history, civics, and western/US

culture in general or taught to think critically and independently.

They are simply being indoctrinated with prog/commie nonsense. So, no help there.

Sad.
