From what I understand of Reddit, moderators have a ranking based on the time that they were installed. It's a strict pecking order, and any mod over another has complete control over his subordinates. My understanding of this particular situation is that lot of the mods on the top of the chart were inactive for years, and the actual moderation was done by the guys at the lower half of the chart. When WSB blew up, the absentee lords came back and seized control of the sub. Reddit is set up this way, and I've see the same power play used in other subreddits. This is considered a feature, not a bug.

I've been going to Alibris lately to look for books. Most notably to get away from buying anything at Amazon. And Alibris' "bestsellers" list includes Mooch's book, as well as her Jug-Earred Other Half's. The bestsellers they displayed made me think they really aren't quite as neutral a shopping site and I would like.

Mine was in very excellent condition.
FWIW, ever one of the police Berettas that I have gotten have been almost completely unshot, that is, no wear on the feed ramp at all. They might have some holster wear, sometimes not even that. Apparently the Italian police don't train much.

I have a reflex sight on my 44 magnum lever action. It automatically goes to sleep when it's not moved, and you can shake it awake. It's supposed to be good for five years of continuous use. I threw a couple batteries in my range bag and a couple of batteries in my vehicle. I'm not too worried about it dying.

Back in the day, most electric consumer goods were repairable and lasted longer during the ages of mom and pop.

It's clear they are laying the groundwork for such.
