In a ten minute period, Coach Kryszewski pulled his mask down off his nose and mouth to yell instructions to players on the court no less than a dozen times. Then use the same hand or other to pull it back up onto his face. Then when Duke won, he walked through the bench high fiving the players by touching palm to palm.

Masks have become a cartoon version of a talisman. The majority of the population believes they are useless and treat them that same way. They are a costume, not a device to interfere with the spread of virus through saliva. Imagine going to the dentist or doctor and have them talking through their mask, the handling the outside of mask repeatedly, then using that same unwashed hand to shake your hand.

The very limited effectiveness of masks is completely negated by what the majority of the population is doing with them.

200 Day 8 of quarantine from the KungFlu (and Day 9 after first noticeable symptoms). Actually felt pretty darn good when I woke up this morning but I got over it. Leg aches by lunchtime, needed 2-naps. FTR, mid 50's with comorbidities (overweight and "recent" pneumonia).

There is nothing at all severe about this bug, but it is weird. No way it wasn't engineered. Nothing I've ever had lingers like this.

I don't do dumb things like lick door knobs or toilet seats but I don't wear a mask while I'm outside or in my car alone either. I only wear it where I have to to do the things necessary to live, like grocery shopping or in public parts of my office. I honestly believe that if you're susceptible to getting it, eventually you will but you will more than likely survive... Not letting it run my life!

Yes. Treatment efficacy - of *any* kind - drops precipitously with time. Early interdiction is effective. Ivermectin and vitamin D, prescribed early and in heavy doses, has enormous efficacy and it is dirt cheap. HCQ and vitamin D works, too, but doesn't appear to work as well as ivermectin. There's no need for a vaccine. We can treat it and do so effectively if you hit it early. They should just issue every man, woman and child in this country with a course of ivermectin and vitamin D, plaster the things with warning and known issues/contraindications and instruct people to take it if they get sick as early as possible and then schedule time with a doctor.

The 'Rona stuff is the stupidest and most evil thing I have ever seen occur at scale.

I built a "facade mask". Cut the inner liner out of one of those blue "N95" masks, then cut out the middle filter layer (which seems to bear a permanent electrostatic charge), and glued the inner liner back in with a hot glue gun. Looks fairly normal from the viewpoint of an onlooker, but doesn't restrict my breathing at all.

Will probably use it Friday for my airline trip.

Yeah, no way I'm ruining my several months old mask by sneezing in it. That's just gross and bad hygiene.

In the beginning of quarantine, the chick I was dating at the time was super pro-lockdown and covid rules and shit and she was having a bit of an allergy issue being around her sisters cat, and she kept sneezing. Anyways, we were in the grocery store and she moved her mask aside to sneeze in to her sleeve, and I made a joke about it, and then the poor girl kept sneezing but in her mask. I was like "oh, man, cmon I was kidding."

I thought traditional vaccines introduced dead or weakened viruses into the body and then the immune system recognized the virus and mobilized an immune response. According to an article I read this morning, the J&J vaccine causes normal cells to adopt virus characteristics and the body mounts a defense against its own cells. Doesn't sound good to me.

Before the whole coof thing, I'd mentioned here plenty of times standing in line at someplace like costco, and literally being sprayed by one of our special imports from down south, coughing or sneezing. Hygiene in general just isn't a thing there apparently.

But germs in general elude them. I've also mentioned the local taquerias that have salsa in squirt bottles. They take these back to their table (instead of using at the salsa station and putting into the little carry out cups). And use like a syringe. They take a bite from the burrito, then stick the squirt bottle into where they bit, squirt, bite, squirt... I've taken video of them doing this for non-believers. The worst offender (huge "Super Taqueria") just went belly up - I imagine CV-19. Too much real estate, cash only, not designed for take out. Good.

I know what you are saying is true by direct experience. The VA hospitals in my state 'lost' my next door neighbor's husband and she was a retired RN. She commuted back and forth to help him every day and one day, she went to his room and he was not there. No one, I repeat, no one, knew what had happened to him or where he was. They also did not care to help her find him in a massive hospital.
I told her to call her congress critter and they found him two days later in a room where he should not have been placed with no records of the transfer. When dying, the poor old vet could not even get morphine shots to ease his death of colon cancer, because the VA doc was scared that the morphine would kill him. The neighbor, being an RN, told them she would give him the damn shot and if he died, so be it but keeping him in pain was inhuman.

It's not really too complicated and very easy to revert. You open up the hosts file in notepad and type on new lines
127.0.0.1 www.twitter.com
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
etc, and whenever your browser tries to connect to those addresses it redirects to your own computer instead of trying to connect to the real domain. The hardest part is tracking down all of the domain names and whatnot they use to serve content.

The fact is that Fauci had no expertise about most of the Wuhan virus situation. He only was involved in infectious disease research. He had no familiarity with production of needed equipment, getting multiple companies together to work on testing and vaccines, dealing with the governors of the 50 states ... President Trump was responsible for the great successes in all these areas.
