Jake Tapper HEARTS The Vets!!!

Observers of Jake Tapper have long noted that whenever he says something super partisan, super unprofessional, or super assholish, he attempts to deflect from the mini-scandal, and to gather support from the gaytarded fake conservatives who follow him around like they're in love with the wrinkles of his asshole, by tweeting out empty stuff showing how much he supposedly "cares" for "the vets."

It's been his go-to move for years and years. Even before he had heavy Nixonian jowls.

Sean Davis, I think, has dubbed this maneuver "going to Vetcon One." Like going to Defcon One.

Usually Jake would go to Vetcon One to deflect from his leftist agitation and assholery, but how's he going to go to Vetcon One over questioning the patriotism of a man who gave his life fighting for Tapper's rights?

Thanks to BetaC*ck4Life.

This is about raw power. After the Dems have total control of government, they will not really care about Trump outside his role as boogeyman for fundraisers. McConnell is worried about the influence Trump could have on Republican primaries in 2022; enough go south and McConnell's position as leader starts to erode or ends. I don't get the logic of how impeaching Trump twice strengthens GOP Establishment humps like Blount and Thune in the primaries, but stupid prizes.

My analogy is a company whose management spent decades building up a healthy balance sheet, paid off the loans on assets, and developed a reputation for quality and customer service. Then new management comes in and is split between the ones who want to completely throw out the company's old image in favor of the latest fads, and the ones who want to simply suck out all the value and sell off the parts to make a quick buck. They've run the place into the ground, and are desperately trying any short-term fix they can think of to keep shareholders from realizing that the books are cooked.

"The agent told us it was a decision made by and with their PR department in conjunction with management," he added.

It's obvious from this rambling, incoherent thread that Twitter's CEO is either high, or he's had a mental break and has lost touch with reality. It's also clear he has no control whatsoever over his company and exists at the mercy of dumb, woke children.

Having to take these actions fragment the public conversation. They divide us. They limit the potential for clarification, redemption, and learning. And sets a precedent I feel is dangerous: the power an individual or corporation has over a part of the global public conversation.

Haven't seen it, but isn't the premise that all of humanity is dead except for a tiny remnant that exists on a snowball Earth by travelling on a train that never stops? I mean, that's pretty hard for me to accept since shit would break down pretty damned fast and there would be no way to fix it, but maybe they convincingly hand wave it away in the movie, I dunno.

99 I think Dorsey finally fucked himself - our country's worthless politicians were never going to use their power to harm Twitter, but by banning the sitting President he has forced other countries to realize they need their own social media services. Every country that considers themselves a major player needs a full suite of services, just like China has, divorced from the SV oligopoly. India and Russia will be first, but Japan, the EU, Brazil...others will go this direction.

I can honestly say that, if and when some AIG policyholder gets cancelled and decides thay've got nothing to lose by pulling that sort of thing on the nearest office, my GAF meter will be below zero.

Whoa, ammoseek has .45 starting at 1.15 a round, for a brand of FMJ people would recognize. There is one no-name brand for .95 a round.

9mm is nearly as bad.

I bought a case last week because of the Biden ammo desert that's coming, mostly for friends that complain they can't find any. It isn't even here yet, and the price has already gone up $80 a case when I checked today.

I kick myself again and again for not buying 9mm for under $300 a case, less than a year ago.

This is a relatively recent quote (last century) but it's been hinted at in many ways before.

The reason that the founders made free speech so important is that it's a safety valve and a warning signal. By suppressing it and ignoring it one invites physical retribution. This has happened to EVERY dictator ever born. Not a one escaped the consequences.

216 Chronology for Jan 19, 2021. Just before Senate reconvenes President
Trump issues Mike Pence a full and complete pardon, and then resigns.
President Pence issues Trump and family a complete and full pardon, then
he resigns. Nancy Pelosi becomes the 47th President, but has to resign
her house seat to do it. Jerry Nadler is riding an elevator with several
Democratic reps when he has an industrial strength pants shitting
episode, and he and the other Democrats die a horrible death, when their
lungs shut down rather than breathe the toxic fumes.

'With the
deaths and the Pelosi resignation the Democrats lose the majority in the
house and Louis Gohmert is elected speaker. Pelosi is shot by the
secret service the next day when she refuses to give the "My Precious"
ring to Biden.

I wish Q was real intel deep inside driving a resistance to DS ... I don't think so, but the movement took on a life of its own.
