22 Would have been williwed: I like to make chocolate chip cookies, but I can't really keep chocolate around the house. It doesn't store very well. By that I mean if there is any chocolate in the house, I will eat it. Ergo, no cookies.

It's pretty sad, they supply them these days in those puny 12 oz packages. Pretty sure all the recipes were based on a 1 pound package. So everyone is making these chip-deprived cookies as a consequence. Wankers.

Posted by: Common Tater at January 03, 2021 06:09 AM (8oe0E)

23 I use the toll house chips but not the recipe on the pkg. Mine makes a firmer cookie that is dunkable without crumbling apart. Also works good with ice cream sandwiches .

Its a good tactic on their end. They know that the vast majority of people process very little that they see and hear, but "steal the election" is coming from all sides, so the idea of "someone is trying to steal the election" is what ends up in a lot of otherwise empty heads.

Their job is to now make "steal the election" no matter if a MAGA hat wearer or a Communist says it will mean that the actual thieves are the victims and the four years of #OrangeManBad will make that a natural conclusion.

Interestingly enough, this continual rounds of "stimulus" act in pretty much the same way for any publicly traded stock and those within the company that participate materially in stock options.

Its called the Cantillon Effect, where stimulus directly feeds asset inflation that pumps up stock prices setting up those with options to make huge profits off the backs of taxpayers vi the helicopter money.

The effect is so direct, that those who are screaming for Equity are actually making the gap even wider.

Yeah, the only money-making I've seen from it is quilting/quilt-finishing (the stitching that binds the pieced cover to the fill and backing), quilt art pieces (scenic or otherwise artsy quits that hang on the wall like a painting), or quilt support materials (creating patterns and kits w/preselected fabric and instructions) to sell to hobbyists.

I'm not sure its all that new. JFK stole the election in 1960. Since then the language of "installed" has been used since 2000, "post turtle" in 2008, with "collusion" being the mascot slogan in 2016.

The GOP consistently ran tomato cans against Clinton and Obama. What made this year unique is that Trump is not a part of the Uniparty like Bush. They knew that Trump would beat any Democrat challenger, so they ran a cardboard cut-out.

Since Clinton, there has always been a Valerie Jarret type to act as the plutocracy's ambassador to the WH.

This.

Back in CO I was part of my church's quilt group that made lap quilts for sick members (or their relatives, friends). We set it up like a factory line, where diff people did design (from a set of block patterns, select and cut fabric pieces to create a kit), piecing the quilt top, assembling/finishing, and stitching the label. We'd get together on Saturday a month to work together, and doing it tis way seemed to make it easier to get the quilts done (no one person responsible for a quilt from start to finish). I loved doing the design -- love exploring color and pattern combinations.

Yes, this would not surprise me.
Saw a close-up of the garage door edges and they used painters tape or some other item to prevent paint spilling over onto the brick. Reminds me of how there would be staged hecklers at Obama speeches.

Looking at McConnel's house, there was no such care. They defaced the brick as well as the door.

the delivery of the Iron Dome to the US Army once again demonstrates the close relations between the Israel Ministry of Defense and the US Department of Defense, the effectiveness of the system against various threats, and the excellent technological capabilities of Israeli industries.

--

Oh, I know the cheating has stolen elections for decades. But nothing quite like the grand scale of coordination and criminality that we saw weeks ago. Multi-state fraud with elected officials playing their parts to facilitate the crime. That's what really blindsided me. That that many people can be in on such destruction of our social compact, our liberties, our very essence of law and order as a country. Countries can't survive that kind of destruction from the inside.
