Something like 5,000 of the total given out were from the Long Term Care facility deaths.
And to top it all off, the State Health would not give them the stuff they needed to maintain quarantine or even just basic protection for the employees like gloves and masks.
They refused said they didn't need them. Nor did they help them test to see who was still infected and who was not.
AND most of these places are warehouses they are not equipped to perform medical procedures. Most are located in and around places where there's more than one hospital nearby so when something happens they stabilize the patient and get them to the ER at the hospital. They aren't geared for treatment. There are those that are but they are different from your basic LTC facilities as their patients don't have any critical problems just old age.
