The Morning Report - 12/22/20 [J.J. Sefton]

bonkbonkbad.jpg

Good morning, kids. Tuesday and we'll take a break this morning from the relatively hot, new insanity of societal death by stolen election to the average, ordinary run of the mill insanity of societal death by out of control national debt. I'm sure you'll be just thrilled to know that your Republican Party reached across the aisle and joined forces with the Democrats to pass a Chinese Coronavirus relief bill to help Americans get through this temporary emergency. Too bad the actual disease, bad as it is for some, is in fact no deadlier than many other respiratory viruses, the actual money being allocated to deserving citizens is a pittance and the temporary emergency that was only supposed to last two weeks is now in its 40th.

5,593 pages. And 6 hours for every member of Congress (at least the handful left in that den of iniquity who still have a shred of integrity) to read the bill before voting on it. But of course, anyone who opposes it is a cruel, evil, heartless bastard. And most likely a racist, white supremacist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, transphobic, phobophobic, Bible-thumping, deplorable bitter-clinger. I mean how could any decent person object to...

- $169,739,000 to Vietnam, including $19 million to remediate dioxins (page 1476).
- Unspecified funds to "continue support for not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Kabul, Afghanistan that are accessible to both women and men in a coeducational environment" (page 1477).
- $198,323,000 to Bangladesh, including $23.5 million to support Burmese refugees and - $23.3 million for "democracy programs" (page 1485).
- $130,265,000 to Nepal for "development and democracy programs" (page 1485).
Pakistan: $15 million for "democracy programs" and $10 million for "gender programs" (page 1486).
- Sri Lanka: Up to $15 million "for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter," which is a type of patrol boat (page 1489).
- $505,925,000 to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama to "address key factors that contribute to the migration of unaccompanied, undocumented minors to the United States" (pages 1490-1491).
- $461,375,000 to Colombia for programs related to counternarcotics and human rights (pages 1494-1496).
- $74.8 million to the "Caribbean Basin Security Initiative" (page 1497).
- $33 million "for democracy programs for Venezuela" (page 1497).
- Unspecified amount to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago "for assistance for communities in countries supporting or otherwise impacted by refugees from Venezuela" (page 1499).
- $132,025,000 "for assistance for Georgia" (page 1499).
- $453 million "for assistance for Ukraine" (page 1500).

And that's just what's being palletized and shipped overseas. Forget stealing an election. The fact that the average, decent taxpaying American citizen has not grabbed pitchforks, rope, tar and feathers and not burned Washington DC to the ground decades ago over the repeated fiscal insanity of no budgets, continuing resolutions, and multi-thousand page bills that have all kinds of mad power grabs buried in the fine print or even on page one such as the twin Romney-us and Ream-us of Obamacare and Dodd-Fagg, is nothing short of a miracle.

In the immortal words of Sonny Wortzik via Al Pacino, "we're dying out here." Bit by bit, our nation, our society, our way of life and the freedom to live that life as we see fit and as G-d gave us the ability to live it to its fullest are being stripped away from us. I don't know what's worse; the evil and corruption that is part and parcel of the Democrat Party, the media and the apparatchiks in government and the private sector that are bringing about our demise, or those allegedly on our side who for whatever reason have abrogated their oaths and lack the morals, ethics and character to defend us from this madness.

We're well on the way towards the endgame of "fundamental transformation." A warning, though, to those who have the upper hand. Fundamental transformation is a two-way street. Tens of millions of decent, G-d fearing Americans, who abhor violence at some point are not going to stay that way. Something's going to give. But if we continue to allow this to happen, we'll have no one but ourselves to blame when the inevitable collapse happens.

Good job to MisHum and CBD last night in beating back the troll. When that troll copied, pasted, and posted mass junk, the only way to fight it on an old platform is for the COBs to catch it and nuke it asap.

71 Mufti of Jerusalem: Temple Mount "is Islamic and Only for Muslims"
_________________

Muhammad, founder of islam, never set foot in Jerusalem or on Temple Mount, in his entire life.

The only connection Muhammad had to Temple Mount was a "visit" he made there, on a flying horse, in a dream.

But somehow Muhammad's dream or hallucination or fantasy or whatever it was is supposed to trump the fact that Jews have thousands of years of real, actual history at Temple Mount.

Muslims are massively self-deluded people, and their insistence that they somehow have a greater claim to Temple Mount because of Muhammad's flying-horse dream, is just more proof of how insane these people are.

Can anyone please tell my why this bill has to include ANY foreign aid?

Was it a foreign aid bill that had the covid assistance tacked on, or did Pelosi and team really just decide to bail-out the entire f'ing world???

110 So, the vast majority of Trump's voters are still acknowledging this election was fraudulently stolen. Even 7 weeks later. That's a whole lot of bad blood brewing. One the one hand, I am glad to see this. We are not being bamboozled by the lies. We know what they did, we know what happened. What that portends for the health and stability of this country is still undetermined, but my wish is for this to cause a giant explosion within the body politic, and all of Washington as the American people give them all the middle finger. How (and if) that happens is the only unknown factor. All I know is that if there is a chance for America to survive, this fraud, this phony "president Biden win" must not be allowed to stand. Extreme circumstances call for extreme measures. I can't think of anything that applies more now after what they've done.

Hey SMH! I'm hanging in. Yesterday was a Kafkaesque doozy of a day at work and I don't think today's going to be much of an improvement, but we shall see. How are you doing?

Posted by: Insomniac at December 22, 2020 08:18 AM (nakwk)

163 Thank you J.J. -- I love you like a one-year older brother (and hope we meet some day), and love the horde in general, which has helped me maintain some vestige of mental health.

This morning for the first time in five years, I can't bear to read any of the headlines. Like I (and others) have been saying, it's all humiliation theater now as they prepare us for gulag.

My one recommendation (I've reiterated a couple of times since the election was stolen) is to -- if you're going to stay instead of flee (in the back of my mind, as I fled Califzuela 7 years ago) -- form a Neighborhood Protection/Preparedness Group. Buy and read the 2-volume "Civil Defense Manual" by Jack Lawson (pseudonym of a former Special Ops veteran) and others.

Join an area group of like-minded individuals if you can find one (I've joined our county chapter of Oath Keepers). If it isn't clear to you now: YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. Prepare and act accordingly ... my heart is broken and my hope for America is now dead -- stake through the heart -- but I have no choice but try to keep myself, family, friends, and community alive or die trying (and take out as many commies as I can before they murder me).

164 you can even force it, if you draw the lines correctly...
Posted by: SturmToddler

True.

Fer instance, on the porky-pie they're serving up.

You could thing that it just gets us that much closer to a financial crash, which is going to be necessary to rebuild liberty back into the system. To get back to sound money. A positive!

Of course, your perspective COULD be that a financial crash will be the end of a happy life, as all your stuff will go bye-bye. A negative. Who really wants to start over?

It really is a difficult thing for those of us who've lived so very well for so very long, to make peace with what needs doing.

Posted by: lizabth at December 22, 2020 08:15 AM (L3Rsz)

I suppose it is too early for an art joke...

but you're right. we probably do need a crash the likes of which we haven't seen before. it will be ugly. and it will be a wake up call to LOTS of people. but it's probably necessary.

and for that i'm sad. I have the distinct feeling my boy will turn out ok at the end, but it's going to be rougher for him than i ever thought possible.

.. if does not ultimately invoke the Insurrection Act or exercise some comparable form of executive branch power to confront the corruption and criminality engorging itself on our nation...

... if he finally concedes and doesn't at least offer up an outgoing blistering jeremiad against the deep state, the GOPe and the media and a vow to keep fighting them...

I'm not playing their game anymore. I see the struggling people everyday here. It's shameful that in America, through no fault of their own, too many of our people are in dire straights financially and emotionally. From small businesses that are closed to the people who fall between the cracks of unemployment and lack of future unemployment opportunities. A measly $600 in stimulus while the politicians give BILLIONS to foreign entities. Our money, you fucks. Both Repubs and Dem politicians tell us they are working so hard for us while they collect their salaries and suffer absolutely nothing. And when the resulting inflation from all the free handouts to the rest of the world causes a devastating fall into poverty for the rest of us, they'll be fat and happy eating ice cream from their $24K freezers. And Republicans, who have voted for this crap can kiss my ass. All of them. They are scum of the earth. And Ron Johnson who didn't think the people needed the measly $600 because only 9 million are out of work. Explain to me from your Ivory Tower how you pay the 4 months back rent/mortgage payment when you are counted as working at a job making half what you made before with no benefits because your small business went under. This is so very, very wrong.

I think he loves america, and is willing to do anything he can to heal and restore her. the problem is, it can't be done by following the system.

the system is corrupted beyond our belief and ability to grasp. he truly thought it could be reformed, we all did. we were wrong.

1. Despite the "media," Biden did not win this election. His win is as phony as their news reporting and people know it.

2. A huge majority of Trump's voters know it. We know what they did and we know it was stolen.

So, yes. Nearly half the country believes what they're told to believe. But we outnumber them. If you look at the county-by-county maps of the election results in 2020, it is an enormous sea of red. We aren't going to go back to sleep. As a matter of fact, once your eyes open, they remain open. And they've opened a lot of eyes. The anger is real and it's palpable.

The fact that AOC and Trump voters hate it - for different reasons - is telling. Trump should veto. Not due to the non-compliance. They can send their stormtroopers for enforcement in important cases, otherwise they can siphon off some graft from the black market they're creating. Win/win.

The only thing that might force their hands is the tax receipt problem. The first time 'round on the lockdowns, a lot of businesses survived. The owners held on by their fingernails and bled capital to get over the hump. The communities around this country stepped up commerce with local business out of solidarity. They pulled through.

This time that isn't happening so much. It's bullshit and tyrannical and too many people know it now. Businesses are really failing this time around in much larger numbers. The tolerance and willingness of the community to rally and support the businesses has waned. The businesses are not (generally) to blame, but people are out of patience. The exceptional support is gone.

And so now we have failure. That failure will knock on to tax receipts. That is going to be a problem for the governments. If they get a federal bailout of state and local government (and I suspect that they *will* do this under our commie masters in February or March), then nothing stops this until the governors decide to. They will be absolved of responsibility for state and local revenues.

220 204 Oddly (or maybe just because it is the most recent), I find this stimulus bill to be more dispiriting than the election. It is the perfect encapsulation of everything that is wrong with our elected "elites." And it is the perfect capstone to a stolen election where the elites rise again. The fact that AOC and Trump voters hate it - for different reasons - is telling. Trump should veto. Either as his final official act or as the beginning to what would be as defining a political move as Burr shooting Hamilton."

They'll override his veto, easily. I'm not surprised, or shocked, and don't feel much at all, because I always expected this. This is why the GOP-e betrayed Trump, this is why they were all so eager to see him gone. It's all a giant grift machine, for BOTH parties, and Trump was gumming up the works, and actually doing what WE wanted done. I will guarantee you that that bill has millions in it for every corrupt toady in DC. All the "aid" that is pumped out is just payoffs to all of their sycophants, and I can guarantee you that a huge amount of that "stimulus" is going to get kicked back right into every Congressman and Senator's pockets.

If anyone still had any doubts at this point, this is Exhibit "A", right out there in spotlights with a brass band playing, that Corruption and Theft is all that *anyone* in Washington (who isn't named Trump) is interested in.

So is it any surprise they'd steal an election? The opportunity to steal is the only reason any of them are there.

That particular angle is true, but Trump won't veto this and wouldn't even if he hadn't had the election stolen from him. This is Trump's downside, and always has been: he's not a fiscal conservative. He's profligate with spending and that's nothing new.

223 I was initially against conservatives voting in the GA runnoff.

But, I came around and said, if Trump is for them, then they should get the conservative vote

Now, with that quote from double E double wide? There is no way in hell if I was in GA I'd vote for them.
They might as well have Schumer and Pelosi campaign for them

The Democrats are putting us in shackles.
The Republicans say, vote for us and we'll make sure they're lined with velvet.

That's what voting is now.
It will not reduce the size, scope or reach of the federal government.

A Republican Senate will not stop, slow or hinder the Democrats in any way.
All it will do is keep the comfortable comforted.
And in 2 years, they'll come back and say, "we're very sorry the iron chaffs and scars, but we need the House if you want some burlap on your irons"

The only question left is if you will die to be free.

That itself isn't too bad, other than the politically-useful fellatio of the NHS at all turns. The real problem with the BBC is precisely the same as the real problem with our media (and you could make a similar argument that with our pre-produced, scripted entertainment media it's a 50/50 split between cops and robbers), namely that it's reflexively hateful to and contemptuous of the native culture.

In both countries (and the West quite generally), the entertainment industry actively hates the culture and creates products to degrade and belittle and devalue it. The Beeb has this in spades.

It's why he never was - and I don't think he will be - the dictator that the Left feared. He isn't going to strap on epaulets and laurels, don some aviators, take power and start purging the enemies in government. He hasn't done so and won't do so because he *isn't* a dictator. He wants to save America, not end it and remake it.

I don't think it can be saved. I don't think Trump will ever come to that conclusion. He's a patriot and he's honest. He won't cross the Rubicon. And because he won't, the Left will win (or, indeed, has already won). This will mean more misery and blood down the road and not less, but it is how I think it is going to develop.

The system is profoundly broken and needs to be razed and remade. Trump is not the man for that job. He loves it too much. The right man for the job is exceedingly rare. You're far more likely to get a Hitler than you are a Washington or a Cincinnatus or even a less remarkable version like Pinochet.

Steve still thinks Trump will win. I see it as possible, and now is the best time to stop DeepState globalists ...

imo Bannon has a better global perspective of the power struggles than most of the "freedom fighters". It may be that is why he got pushed out of the Trump administration early, along with others that made Trump win in the first place. Lewandowski, Flynn, Gorka ... all out early ... DeepStaters left in command. Coulter's book used as a springboard against illegals, she tried to confront ... Trump kicked her to the curb as well.

Trump is more Main Street, and has business sense. But Bannon has warfare training, and the Goldman Sachs perspective, and then years of the political perspective. Trump maybe needs to get the old band back together, get back on the original Mission from God?

We're at the part where the elite seize power. What the prior regime(Monarchy or Republic) constituted doesn't seem to have much impact on the events that follow. Usually the ensuing oligarchy will in turn be replaced by a monarchial figure. Oligarchies are inherently unstable since there's no formal balance of powers that maintains itself, eventually someone aggregates enough power to assert dominance.

In his epic work "Decline of the West", Oswald Spengler predicted that we would all be headed to an Imperial form of government in the 21st century, and he made that prediction over 100 years ago. He predicted most of the major events of the 20th century, but nobody likes to talk about him. Because he didn't believe in happy endings.

Although he did note that the Imperial stage will probably provide peace and tranquility for a century or two, before everything collapses back into a new dark age.

All the tools in his master's shed, such built and perfected since the day he corrupted man in Eden, Erick will gladly use.

Because men like Erickson are not men. They live for this life alone while mouthing words of piety.
It is not God's will that we be ruled by corrupt and polluted men. He means for us to live free.
It is an offense to Him that we would not fight to keep His gift of freedom.

Those calling for peace, for conciliation, for clam and unity are not seeking freedom.
They are after one thing: Power.

Power over the weak. The poor. The honest. The free. The children of God.

331 Just poking around this monstrosity of a bill, found something interesting on page 2845.

The creation of something called, AI Center of Excellence, within the GSA.

This agency will...

(1) facilitate the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies in the Federal Government;

(2) improve cohesion and competency in the
adoption and use of artificial intelligence within the
Federal Government; and..

(3) carry out paragraphs (1) and (2) for the
purposes of benefitting the public and enhancing the
productivity and efficiency of Federal Government
operations.

It seems like we just authorized SkyNet.

Or said another way....

Terminator was a cautionary tale not a how too manual.

To understand how horrible the bill is, just flip to any random page in this monstrosity.

It's an interesting question, in that the people setting themselves up to take control are the Tech Oligarchs - Bezos, Zuckerburg, Gates, etc. But none of them have any ability to relate or gain allegiance from the common people. I don't think we've seen the man yet who will be able to do that, but the time is ripe for him to rise.

It's almost funny, the Oligarchs were terrified that Trump was that man, but as others have noted, he was not. He may go down as the last truly American President, the last President who actually cared about this country and believed in its ideals. Wait'll they get a load of the Real Thing, once he shows up.

me, as I suggested this months ago on this thread. We should have

squashed their smaller competitors.

I've posted that suggestion at other sites, too. And believe it or not, I've been chided by libertarians for being "anti-free market" and "pro-big government" because this suggestion punishes Bezos for his brilliant creative destruction idea.

Ponder that. It is a sign of a great entrepreneur to make money by getting the government to favor you over your competition. And that's the libertarian way.

(I confess that, though I was never one myself, I had a lot more respect for the libertarians of my youth, than for the current crop. Nowadays "libertarians" seem to be all about "Bake the damned cake and pass me the bong." My old friends were a better and smarter lot.)

They keep "finding" "undiscovered" votes, but Tenney, the Republican is still leading by a few votes. Nineteen, I think.

The NY Supreme Court is involved in the Stealing of NY-22 and are "carefully examining" a couple of thousand ballots from Utica. This is the Florida 2000 fake recount all over again. These Democrat "judges" are looking at INVALID ballots and deciding they should go to the Democrat candidate.

Well here's a couple things about what we call AI.

1. They're not really thinking machines, they're mathematical optimization machines that fit curves using pattern recognition and statistics.
2. They're effectively a black box to most people and likely nearly everyone in the government to interact with them.

An example of AI would be teaching it to recognize wolves, but it really learned to recognize snow because all the pictures happened to have snow in the background. Because it is a black box they found it more difficult to manipulate inputs to get desired outputs and AI in hiring ended up 'racist'. It statistically discrimination, because AI is a statistical discrimination machine. That's all it does.

The Media wing of the Dem-Media Complex operates like the studio moguls did (still do?). The moguls told aspiring actresses to get onto the casting couch, or they'd never work in Hollywood.

Now, the Dems and other journalists tell a journalist to not ask a Dem politician any serious questions, if he or she ever wants to get inside info, a promotion, or invitations to parties. Or keep his/her current job. There is no down-side for a Dem politician to simply ignore or laugh-away an unwanted question.

I have no idea how to break-down this corrupted system. We have arrived at the point where the possible VPOTUS has not held anything resembling a press conference since she was nominated - four months ago. And I hear no serious complaints about it from the Media.

One idea I am thinking about, is not using any business that is a Biden supporter. There were several vendors that were going to be involved, who also would earn a very handsome days wage. Yesterday I called the main guy, who is helping with the planning, and his wife answered, who I have spoken with before. And I broached my new idea, of not doing business with people who were not politically aligned with me. Come to find out, after 5-10 min of discussion, she was not on my side politically*. And so, after some hours of thought, I have decided to call today and cancel with this guy, and his two support guys.

In the upper chamber, senators voted 92-6 in favor of passing the
package. No Democrats broke ranks, but a handful of Republican senators
opposed the bill including Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky.
Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii were the two House Democrats who voted against the package.

Any links to who the other 4 Senators were?

One: of the six Senators who voted no, the Scott was Rick Scott from FL, not Tim Scott.

Which means even less money went directly to the taxpayer, and even more infuriatingly, even less went to those PAYING for the damned stimulus in the first place.

It really doesn't work. The "lessons of history" that actually stand up, are very few, mostly obvious, and even then, need heavy qualification. Even "si vis pacem, para bellum" is belied by the events of 1914.

463 Great, we have to guess at whether they'll anally rape us or not. There's not a single positive reason to vote for those turds. It's a moot point for me because I don't live in Georgia

Don't vote Repub in GA and you will get DC and Puerto Rico as states. You will get massive bail outs for blue cities you will get it up the ass with no chance of recourse.

Vote R in GA and you will have a chance for recourse.
It's suicide or live to fight another day. Your choice.

Nah, Romney, Collins, et al can cross over. We had 6 vote against the boondoggle. At that rate we'd need about 450 in the Senate to get 51 votes.

466 Patrick Byrne and Sidney Powell were at the White House ... no mention of Qanon. Byrne is looking at the data and the packets ... he wants to know about whether servers are being collected (and routers) ... there is already testimony of data packet flow, it is part of the evidence. None of that is about Qanon.

The "all that is Qanon CIA plant conspiracy theory" is itself probably CIA mis-info. Yes examine the ballots, the wrong ink on many, the lack of folds in the mail ins (which would show up in the digital images even). But the other part is how the original machine count was manipulated.

The love the current episodes of "All Rise" on CBS.
They have gone so into masks and shields that it has "jumped the rona".
I especially loved the judge's face shield .. it is right out of "Flash Gordon". Emperor Ming would be proud.

No doubt that significant amounts of money will funnel into unregulated offshore bank accounts that no one with the ability to will audit. If, and that is a big if, someone does? No way it gets press time or any journalistic curiosity whatsoever.

472 Monica Showalter should have known better than to cite that study from Wuhan (really, she should have know better to cite AIER, which should have known better than to rely on it).

AIER links to the original publication in Nature Communications.

Go read it (it's short, it's not hard to follow), then tell us whether you believe a word of it.

There are something like 19 Chinese authors listed, and one non-Chinese author. The study was allegedly done with the cooperation of the Wuhan municipal authorities. No way it could have been submitted to any journal, in the country or international, without an imprimatur from the regime.

During the study period (second half of May 2020, first half of June) supposedly no one developed a symptomatic infection and hardly anyone tested positive for the virus but was asymptomatic. Also, numbers are given for people who had previously been infected and recovered. Anything we've been able to learn about the outbreak in Wuhan tells us these are not high enough.

The authors claimed that 92.3% of people in Wuhan over the age of 6 participated. They also claim that participation was voluntary. Right....

We can't believe published results about asymptomatic infections (and supposed lack of transmission by people who were asymptomatically infected) when the article carefully adheres to the Party line that the epidemic was over in Wuhan by then and hardly anyone was infected any more.

I doubt there was ever a real data set. And anyone who didn't trust *Nature Communications*' review process before certainly won't trust it now.

Asymptomatic transmission is, by its nature, hard to study. This publication contributes nothing useful.

473 When you can take the pebble from my hand?

QAnon? I have no idea what the froog it is. At all. Not even curious, in the least. But it seems it's the only thing that dribbles out Pelosi's pie hole.

And Gingrich? Saying Biden isn't his President. But telling Trump HE has to go to the inauguration? These are our leaders (yeah, I resisted the temptation of quotation marks).

The age of reason, is now long past. We have well and truly entered the age of brass and lead.

While the deranged lunatic Left, think they are G*d. And in turn, can f*ck with the real one. Especially those individuals who have a belief in.

This is most definitely not going to end well for the Country. The question is how fast it falls further. How bad things will get. And how soon. I don't think we will have to wait very long to find out.
