So Paul is not proposing that anything should be done now, or, heaven forbid, that he should do any of it. Rather, let's just ignore everything that happened in the last couple of months, the suspicious counting, the mysterious, appearing-in-the-middle-of-the-night ballots, the unsecure mail-in voting, let's just put all of that behind us now, and, going forward, it's all going to be good. Trust us. Real conservatives have been complaining for years that fake conservativism, (Conservatism, Inc.) doesn't ever really conserve anything. What hill should we be willing to die on? The next one. Or the one after that one. But the one we're standing on right now? Nope, sorry, not this one. Too risky. And here's more after-the-fact bravery from Miss Lindsay: "Social Media Companies And Mail-In Voting Will Destroy Conservatism If We Don’t Push Back". Heh. No, the time to push back on the Democrats' efforts to normalize unsecured mail-in voting was BEFORE the election, not a month later. Let's fight tomorrow. But let's not fight today. When is it time to be brave? When is it time for battle? When is it time to fight? When is it time to give your all? When is it time to sacrifice? Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...

Posted by: SturmToddler at December 18, 2020 11:37 AM (8D42x) Digital techniques can come awfully close to emulating film - I used to have a studio and do 4x5 work. The biggest difference IMO is the invention of all the cool new idiot-proof light sources. Today's ubiquitous soft boxes didn't exist back then. You'll notice that the shadows can verge on harsh. There's a lot of different terminology about just the shadow under the nose - but note in modern photos you don't get anything like they had before. IMO these guys (and gals) were masters of light and shadow, using hard-lined shadows to their advantage instead of considering it an enemy to be softened. Also call her a racist for thinking that a senile, white segregationist who did no campaigning like Biden got more votes than historic first African-American president, President Obama, and got more of the African-American vote than President Obama. Only a racist could possibly think that. I might get in trouble for it but I'm not sure what should be done, ultimately, other than this... ALL possible fraud needs to be investigated and ALL participants in it need to be prosecuted.
A pretend Facebook friend of mine who's a lawyer has talked about a fraud case he was involved in (and won) and the whole thing took three years. Three years to get into the nitty-gritty. Three years to prove who knew what and who was responsible for what. Three years to go to trial, complete the trial, and prove their case and get the public officials involved thrown in jail. "This can't be resolved before January 20th" is a stupid reason not to investigate and charge people with election fraud. "It's not practicable to kick out Biden and re-install Trump," is a stupid reason not to go through the whole process. "We aren't going to kick Biden out anyway," is the worst reason of all EVEN IF IT'S TRUE. I guess what I'm saying is, what is the important part? The outcome or the process? People arguing that the most important thing is our confidence in the process and that means we need to pretend that the process is true are profoundly wrong because they're upside down. We don't preserve confidence in the process because we've pretended nothing happened. I don't think that Rand's focus is wrong, at least as much as I can tell what his focus is without listening to his whole presentation. Biden is a temporary disaster. Normalizing and ignoring fraud is a permanent disaster. So yes, that's what we should worry about and we should absolutely insist that this is not poo-poo'd away because it "won't change the outcome." That is a prediction, not a fact. There are obvious pathways still open for Trump ... whether they will work, or he will take them ... we don't know for sure. Sounds like he is still fighting, ... so he and the lawyers and millions of other don't accept "Biden will be inaugurated" as a certain fact. I certainly don't... it would be foolish to think even more evidence of criminal activity could emerge, yet we would be forced to accept the traitorous criminal as leader of the (formerly) free world. Posted by: andycanuck at December 18, 2020 11:39 AM (UDapT) This is actually a good question. From her life story, it took quite a while for Ann Sullivan to get the young Helen to understand that the word she was spelling out into her hand was referring to something else. She finally "got it" one day when Ann was pumping water onto her hand at an outdoor pump while spelling 'water' into her other hand. From her life story, it took quite a while for Ann Sullivan to get the young Helen to understand that the word she was spelling out into her hand was referring to something else. She finally "got it" one day when Ann was pumping water onto her hand at an outdoor pump while spelling 'water' into her other hand. Helen dropped the bucket when she finally realized what it meant and just took off from there.

That is a prediction, not a fact. There are obvious pathways still open for Trump ... whether they will work, or he will take them ... we don't know for sure. imo there has never been an election even close to this level of theft. Kennedy got help in Illinois ... but it was close. Trump won big ... as we saw before the 2AM stoppage ... but even bigger than that, if evidence of other vote shaving is true. The normal cheat was bigger than usual, then came the huge electronic flips, and trucked in ballots.
Media also, has never been so obviously crooked ... and the internet was never available to distribute evidence to so many people in such detail. MSM won't cover it, but when enough people get enough links, and look at just a few, the bubble of protection can break. We also have the massive foreign hacks and infiltration, more evidence of that is coming out. The people chose Trump over corrupt dementia Joe in a landslide ... that is being revealed to all day by day. We have another month (at least) ... don't go wobbly. I don't remember his dad making a big deal out of being called DOCTOR Ron Paul, either. __________________ Somebody pointed out the other day that the NY Times routinely referred to Ben Carson, the M.D. who was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins, and an award-winning, internationally-recognized physician and neurosurgeon, as "Mr." Carson, but they always refer to Jill Biden, Ed.D, as "Doctor" Biden. Laws, new or old, don't solve anything when your rulers are dishonorable people who take oaths with zero intention of abiding by them.
The solution to an LA District Attorney who announces his intention to disobey wide swaths of laws when he is sworn in is not more laws. The solution to a cowardly Chief Justice is not more laws. I keep reading here about how the GOP did nothing to stop the fraud before the election. Levin went through a list the other night of the many lawsuits filed by state GOP parties and legislators pre election of which nearly all were dismissed or found in favor of the fraud. It was an impressive list. He read it as part of a rant against the judiciary whom he says has wholesale abdicated their responsibility to uphold laws and the constitution. My point is that the Republicans DID try to do something prior to the election.

Why expect Rand Paul to be a conservative?
Particularly if he is like his father. Anarcho-capitalists have never been conservative and never will be, no matter how much they try and brand and rebrand themselves as "paleoconservatives" or "paleolibertarians" or whateverwhateverians to hide that "anarcho" bit from what they really are. But he says mean things about the government, so he "must" be a conservative, despite endorsing anarchists who go on to run on a platform of ending the country outright. There is something to "fix" going forward for sure. And does he wind up like his father, ranting and raving about how bad the government is, voting against spending bills, but making sure they are filled with pork for his district or state? Is it about the image more than the action with him? As for the "Doctor" part, while his father never made a big stink about it, his followers certainly did, along with his military "service". Never mind that Ron Paul only became a doctor to avoid being drafted as a grunt, and spent all his time in the rear (as it were, particularly given he was a gynecologist - for the air force). They were always happy to tell you what a war hero for medicine he was. Posted by: Sam at December 18, 2020 12:23 PM (ohyxL) 353

This MASSIVE fraud mean there is no "margin of fraud" that we can overcome. It means that Democrats and their GOP allies will break what ever laws they have to, and commit as much fraud as they have to, in order to thwart the will of the American people. This massive fraud means we no longer have the franchise and voting in Potemkin elections just props up the corrupt system and gives it a thin scum of respectability. This massive fraud, if not stopped, means our republic is dead... as is the rule of law. They would say they will not be voting at all but will be arming themselves to protect their God given rights from ANY actors, state sanctioned or otherwise, that would abrogate them. They would also point out that a government that does not have the consent of the government is illegal and that any laws the pass or orders they give are illegal too. That is what they should say. "...there is no "margin of fraud" that we can overcome."
The roots of today's collapse are in those words. The idea of some quantity of Democrat fraud that had to be allowed and tolerated and simply budgeted for was an excuse that Republicans used to avoid having to get tough and retaliate legally against their "good friends" on the other team. That was just too hard, and Republicans became adept at taking the line of least resistance.
