The Morning Report - 12/7/20 [J.J. Sefton]

Good morning, kids. Monday, December 7th. The 79th anniversary of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Funny how the names Arizona, Pennsylvania and Nevada have particular meaning all these many years later. May G-d bless the memory of those who were killed that day as well as the survivors, who grow fewer and fewer with each passing year, who are still with us. I cannot begin to imagine what they must think of the nation as it is today, considering what they sacrificed so much for in trying to preserve it. The irony is beyond tragic that subsequent generations of their progeny are now actively embracing essentially the same ideology which that generation fought and died to protect them against. But here we are.

Turning our attention to the situation at hand, on the plus side of the ledger, Team Trump scored a pretty important win on Friday.

A judge in Michigan is allowing a forensic investigation of 22 Dominion vote tabulation machines in rural Antrim County over claims that the votes there were compromised.
"Our team is going to be able to go in this morning at about 8:30 and will be there for about eight hours to conduct that forensic examination and we'll have the results in about 48 hours, and that'll tell us a lot about these machines," attorney Jenna Ellis said...
...Jeremy Scott, Antrim County spokesperson said forensic images will be taken from the county precinct tabulators used in the November 3rd election. The president's legal team was not responsible for the lawsuit, it was filed by a voter, William Bailey, who alleged the ballots were damaged during a recounting of ballots in a village marijuana proposal that barely passed.
Elsenheimer's order doesn't mention the presidential race but, Antrim county did experience strange voter irregularities. Initially, the ballot count in this deep red county showed that former Vice President Joe Biden won however after a recount was done results showed that President Trump won by several thousand votes.

Meanwhile, the Constitutional aspect of the case, vis a vis the state's courts interfering with the legislative branch's authority to run election, looms large in Pennsylvania. Constitutional and legal expert Mark Levin is calling for SCOTUS to intercede:

"What we see here is fraud perpetrated against the people of Pennsylvania, against the American people and the Electoral College process by politicians who violated the constitution repeatedly, who have violated the rule of law by a rogue state supreme court," Levin stated. "And unless the U.S. Supreme Court -- as it did in Bush versus Gore -- exercises legitimately its power of judicial review. We have a potential constitutional crisis in this matter. And in one way or another, Congress will have to resolve it on January 6. But the U.S. Supreme Court shouldn't just sit there and take a pass when in fact it is time for the U.S. Supreme Court to intercede, which is exactly what the petitioners are asking it to do."

The Great One also interviewed Patrick Basham, the founding director of the Democracy Institute on his Life, Liberty and Levin show yesterday, where he broke down a lot of the anomalies that serve to underscore the eyewitness accounts of fraud and other specific hard evidence showing beyond any reasonable doubt that the election was indeed stolen:

At bottom, it's completely bizarre that Biden did not sweep the United States. Instead, he swept a few specific precincts. If Biden were as popular as his victory indicates, wouldn't his support have been enormous in every state in which he won? It's simply inconceivable to a logical person that every non-polling metric predicted a massive Trump victory, only to have Biden win in a handful states that had election anomalies never before seen in an American election -- but often seen in a Venezuelan one.

In Georgia, we have two varieties of anti-American crackpot vying for the Senate seats in a dual runoff election that more than likely was nearly stolen from the two iffy Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. Yes, for now we have to drag them over the finish line to preserve our hold on the Senate. That does not diminish in any way, shape or form my loathing of the GOP. That party will have to go the way of the dodo at a time when temporary emergency political expediency will no longer be a factor in having to deal with them.

Two great essays from Victor Davis Hanson (here and below) and Bruce Thornton (here and below) put this past year and all its madness in perspective. No matter who is sworn in come January 20th, the madness will no doubt continue. It's just that with Trump, we still have a chance at survival, as a nation and perhaps even individually.

85 My neighbor, a retired Army Intelligence officer, is forming a militia. He's asked me to join. I am open to the idea. I am beyond sickened and outraged with what the Left is doing to this country, not only for the past year but my lifetime, and simply meeting with likeminded souls could have mental health value at least.

In that article, at one point it says it is not the job of private citizens to investigate voter fraud. Unfortunately, that is not true nowadays. It should be true, but there are two problems.

Further, the courts are set to handle it - to the extent they will do so at all - so slowly that at best you'll get a prosecution after the fact.

Note that the last point is well thought out in using it against conservatives, who are by natural inclination to demand that the justice system follow the law, no more and no less. But even if they do, all that will happen is that someone like Panetta will do time. And that is assuming no corruption.

The only reason he saw any data was some precincts on the N Shore had tallied votes outside of the electronic systems, so it was still available for him to obtain.

Many states have an online ability for people to check.
You need to know your basic voting info, name, birthdate, address, and you should be able to find it. State Sec of State website.

A guess?
Trump involved the military in his COVID team to assist in distribution of PPE (remember the military guy who would speak at the daily briefings?), so this is a continuation of that. They have the infrastructure and health personnel to deliver to all states, as they did with the respirators and other supplied that were quickly manufactured once the pandemic hit. Trump is leveraging an existing organization vs. pushing it out to each state that may or may not be in a good position to do this quickly and efficiently (see: Cuomo and his "lost" 30k respirators when he was on tv saying he had none).

Citizen Judges.

Two things are required:
* Open Source software for any computer used with the election system. Anyone with access to Github can see the code. No more changes are permitted within some arbitrary period of time before being deployed.

But because I can see someone finding a way to hack the machine at the last minute...

* The USPS photographs each and every letter that goes through the system, therefore it shouldn't be that big a deal to photograph each and every paper ballot as it is punched out of the machine.

Serialize the ballots (shuffled numbers within groups of one hundred), and let people make marks on their paper ballot that doesn't interfere with the electronic tabulation.

Then make the images of the ballots available on the internet for each precinct.

Crowd source the code and the validation. The election officials are so corrupt and incompetent that they can no longer be trusted to do even the simplest tasks and must be watched by anyone on the planet.

this is what the doc in IL told my parents when they got it a couple months ago. told them to just stay home and wouldn't give them any meds at all for it.

I couldn't believe it. I told mom to ask about HCQ and remdesivir and other known treatments. their doc said they weren't going to give them anything.

It felt like they were hoping to get them in the hospital or worse...

My premise was simple.

If people don't fear the consequences of doing something, and the value of that something outweighs the consequences, you will have people doing the very thing society says they shouldn't.

Simple human nature, which applies here.

With no fear of any consequences, one party has literally gone as far as rigging an election in this country to their benefit.

And it certainly looks like there is no enforcer of the country's laws willing to even slap their hands, let alone stick them in Ol Sparky.

I've seen a couple of attorney interviews that have said the President can do almost anything, when push comes to shove. It can be partial or limited in scope, not like turning the USA into some WWII European movie.
Blue state Guvnors have been doing exactly this for the last 8 months.
Now the reaction? Yeah, JJ, that's the question. That's the same thing that keeps coming back to me when I think about this.
The Left and Progda would go nuts, but I think that the Trump voters would hold the line. And really, if Trump won, how could Progda be any worse than the last 4 years?
I speculate that this is on the table if all else fails, and Barr knows this and is floating his resignation because of it, among other reasons.

This is why I'm not heavy into these discussions. I don't know what's really going on, have no way of knowing, and wouldn't admit to it if I did. If I did have a way of participating, again I'd be an idiot to say thing one about it in any open forum. There's a reason I've preached OpSec all these years, and now's the true test.

Honestly, I assume anyone making big statements in public is a fool, a liar, or a distraction, and possibly all three.

I disagree Trump is just a good guy and can't get tough. He successfully dealt with NY construction unions.
Remember this started before Trump was inaugurated, and Admiral Rogers pulled him into a SKIF to securely show him about the BS collusion stuff.
He has been fighting the Deep State ever since.
And Trump signed that EO on 9.12.18, and is active right now.
Best to see what success from courts and legislatures first, before he has to pull the pin on anything else.

Yeah, this was organized. How do you know he hasn't? I was told for a month that the FBI was doing nothing only to find out this weekend that they raided a house in Arizona on November 5th and took hard drives, memory sticks and other computer gear from a guy they suspect might have hacked the election system in AZ.

Now we find out Ruby Freeman is cancelling interviews and lawyering up. Somebody wants to talk with her.

I don't know everything that's happening behind the scenes but I sure as hell don't trust the media to tell the truth about anything.

Bill Barr is an exceptional attorney, imo, who has had AMPLE opportunity to show what an AG in a moment of historical Constitutional Crisis could and should do.

He has not and me thinks he will not. Even more so that he cannot not. Great attorneys do not automatically translate to great AG's. Not enough Trump( resolute backbone) in Barr. Dont dislike Barr but it is time for Barr to resign or be moved out.
We , our Republic, cannot win or succeed with Barr's 'style' of AG'ing.
