The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

Yes, the perfidy of our "Republican" senators is well known. Mike Lee and Rick Scott are the two latest examples of a breathtaking lack of patriotism and an equally breathtaking loyalty to their masters. Who and what those masters are is academic. China, big corporate donors (but I repeat myself), a side piece who is blackmailing them with pictures of a drunken night with a strap-on and some amyl nitrate?

Does it really matter?

We will be betrayed. The only question is: What is worse? A narrow majority in the Senate, which will be consumed with the senators on the margins courting the Democrats for nice perks and better martinis and the use of the dungeon in Chuck Schumer's DC townhouse, all in exchange for a vote for amnesty or gun control or ceding power to the administration or global warming bullshit or some hard-left tranny judge who never saw a late-term abortion it didn't celebrate?

Or...a Democrat majority that rampages through the federal code and the Constitution, laying waste to whatever liberties we may still retain, all the while supporting the sociopathic desire of the globalists to spend American blood and treasure in defense of their interests abroad?

Have a nice shit sandwich! Would you like it plain or with a good deli mustard?

But the answer is clear. However awful a narrow majority in the Senate will be, the alternative is far worse. So hold your nose, put your wallet in your front pocket and support the two Republican candidates for the US Senate in Georgia. Are they likely to be honorable and patriotic and America-loving senators? No. I won't insult your intelligence by suggesting that nonsense.

Will the gorge rise in your throat as you pull the levers for them, knowing that it is distinctly possible that you have already been disenfranchised by a toxic combination of Democrat/Leftist cheating and cowardly and craven Republican capitulation?

Yes. But giving up is not an option. Your vote will not be for the GOPe, it will not be for the mushy-morals pseudo-conservatives who court our votes and then piss in our faces. Your vote will be for the America that lurks beneath the surface. The quiet majority that may, just may be disgusted enough to do something about the decades-long theft of our freedoms and our government by a cabal of America-hating progressives and globalists who bristle at the thought of an ascendant America.

Remember, the fight to take back the country and drain the swamp was going to be really hard. Almost insurmountable.

Then Trump came and made a difference even with what he was up against.

Stepping back from all of the day to day garbage, Trump seems like a turning point in history. We have to keep pushing, because this is the first time we are being heard and making a difference.

When have you seen the groundswell of support - taking to the waterways, the roads and the ground in support of a conservative President? These are unprecedented times which is why the fight from the left is even more vicious. We have made inroads. Trump won't give up, so we should not.

If Democrats take the Senate you will see monstrous bailouts of blue states, well over a trillion dollars. You will pay for that.

He may not be the hero we want or even like but McConnell has held the line on Nancy's insane bailouts to date. Chuck will not. And this is just one issue. The House's whole program will pass the Senate.

Speaking of shit show, I've seen in 2 spots this am rumors Newsom is shutting CA down tomorrow. Unfortunately, this seems about as likely as a moron drinking Valu Rite and shooting off the balcony on a Friday evening. Timing is just too perfect.

101 This is easy for me to answer. I have three kids, son 16 and two daughters 15 and 10. Of course I do not want war, I'm still sane. The other side are the ones that want war and are insane. If you do not bend and conform to their will, they've made it pretty clear the consequences for not doing so.
I'm 52 and still in good shape. I can still bench six wheels and run 5+ miles at a fast pace. If war is what these mf'ers are pushing for, then lets get it started with right the f**k, right now while I am still in shape to protect my kids from it the best I can. They're well being and future that matter to me.

I mostly ignore the people coming in here and commenting about some us us not having the courage to actually fight if it comes to that. If you don't think I'm capable of it? Jeopardize my kids future, put them in danger and I'll f'ing end you without giving it a second thought.

You can check how many votes they're likely to get based on how many Kagan and Sotomayer got. The best argument on the SC would be against an expansion of the total members, not that existing members will be replaced by radicals(they will be if Trump doesn't pull it off).

do not know the why but the how is Kemp and Raffesperger signed a
consent decree in March that drastically and unconstitutionally weakened
GA's signature requirement in law. The law says that the signature must
be matched with the signature on file with the SoS and an election
official must set aside every signature that does not match.

The
consent decree allows the signature to match what is on file with the
SoS OR match the signature on the application for an absentee ballot
(which is not required by law to match the signature on file). Also,
election officials are banned from doing what the law requires and
setting aside ballots with no matching signature. Instead, the consent
decree requires that they form a three official committee on the spot
and the ballot is only set aside for further scrutiny if two of the
three agree that the signature does not match.

There's a an old saying which became an old saying because it's true. You can vote your way into socialism but you have to shoot your way out.

A lot has been revealed to the American people over the last 4 years and particularly over the last few weeks. It's late but perhaps not too late to change things peacefully if we can stop a complete takeover now and spend the next few years organizing and trying to stop the slide to the left.

Let that foment revolution or a new party to really upset the apple cart (like the Republicans did to the Whigs and the Federalists). I can't quite bring myself to actually argue that position yet, but I can see it.

I don't disagree that this is a far better scenario than mine, but I watched from 2016 on how people on power are allowed by the arbiters of justice to break serious laws to destroy any opponents.

I watched as the power of the government was directed at its people, with no recourse.

I've watched the same people in tech who pay politicians destroy one side's ability to participate in the process.

I've watched a DOJ with ample evidence of crimes drag their feet with no intention of prosecuting the criminals because they engage in the same crimes.

I've watched the FBI become a political tool to be used to destroy lives and nothing happens to them.

The government is a bloated, corrupt and evil organization and keeping a slim lead in the senate isn't going to fix anything, just make it take longer to fix.

253 Unfortunately, I have had a hard time thinking about politics lately, even though it appears we are watching the death of our republic in real time. I had to step away from worrying about anything but my family for a bit.

However, I've realized that NOW is the time to be worrying about my two very loathsome senators Rubio and Scott rather than waiting until they come up for election and I am forced to choose between them or a democrat. It is time for me to put my money where my mouth is. As soon as I can identify a viable challenger to each as their terms come up I will donate the legal max. Even if they are only slightly more conservative. It might be an empty gesture since knocking off a sitting senator is extremely hard but I hear that early money in a campaign really helps. I will try to do my part.

After that, I will have to take a good, long, hard look at whether or not to vote for them in the general if, God forbid, they win another primary.

IrishEi, by and large I think you are missing the point. People here and elsewhere (for instance on the ground in GA) are NOT trying to teach anyone a lesson. They are realizing that fraud at this level means it does not matter if they vote because the election will not be decided by votes. They are realizing that IF THE NOVEMBER STEAL STANDS our republic is dead and we are in a "what do we do about that to secure our rights" phase.

It is a very fair point of view but one I do not think or hope we will have to do anything but talk about. There are mechanisms in our Constitution to handle even this (SCOTUS and/or state legislatures) only if those fail will we have to look at what comes next.

I am very much expecting that SCOTUS kicks out all votes not compliant with actual state law and all votes period in places where there was obviously other means of fraud used (musical thumb drives and mysterious late night vote dumps included). I think Western Europe is lost. Apart from seated judges and USMCA, every single important good thing Trump has done could be negated in 2 days (implementation of this vandalism would take longer in some cases.

Snap-back sanctions on Iran - and especially Treasury/State enforcement thereof. Countering Chinese influence/espionage operations. That's funny. Trump is probably the first honest politician in my lifetime. And the laws - essentially *all* of them - were violated with impunity during this election. The statistical evidence alone - even without a single affidavit or witness or verified corrupted ballot (all of which there are) - would be enough to throw any banker in this country into prison. The will of the people is unknown because the election was fraudulent. There is a legal remedy for this: the House of Representatives.

But to claim that not supporting a Biden Administration and decrying such an administration as illegitimate is indicative of dismissing the will of the people or destroying the rule of law is laughable.

Having the legislature didn't really do much against Chavez and Maduro. The fact the country is divided into states which have a great deal of their own authority is enormously helpful. An irony occurs to me.

The more that the Trump Legal Team and places like Project Veritas expose the depths of the fraud and corruption of the 2020 election, while it may help Trump's cause for the Presidency, it works against elections like those in Georgia.

Because the more people realize how fraudulent the system is, the more they are going to determine that it does no good to bother to participate in it.

I've been screaming for years that the system is corrupt and the Republicans are a huge part of the problem. But in a two-party system, people are very reluctant to hear that about their own Party. When the two parties have been entrenched for 160 years, they're almost completely unwilling to hear it.

as to the second, terms of office should be limited to two, with total disbarment from working in any government-affiliated capacity of equal or lesser stature after that. Including lobbyists. I don't care if that's fair or legal or constitutional. The constitution is made to be amended. Amend it.

Why two terms? To hold them accountable for re-election in their first term. After that, the people should have a referendum attached to the ballot when they elect the next rep after the term-limited guy is out: The referendum should decide if the term-limited and exiting office holder is worthy of a pension.

614 I think Trump is building a case to reduce the blowback from the left when he gets signed in to a second term. There will be lots of proof of a coup attempt to take the wind out of the left's sails.

There will be antifa violence and such to mop up, there is no widespread support for Biden, unlike Trump who has at least 80 million die-hards, many well armed and concentrated in states and counties all across the country. It would be manageable and there would be a big house-cleaning and freedom is secure for another generation.

If Biden succeeds, then it isn't the Trump loss so much as the loss of liberty 1 a, 2 a, economic freedom, massive taxes and unemployment, police state tactics that motivates the right.

There would be substantial secession movements in over half the states and several would probably declare but there would be no civil war 2.

Unlike CW 1 which was a fighting war --North vs South, and blue vs gray; it will be red vs blue and right vs. left and even the blue states are all almost covered by red counties, so the blue states are practically all taken over already.
Plus the blue urban areas are already dying and then there's the question of what are they going to eat, for example? Output from re-education camps? I'm sure they'd like to try it but it wouldn't fly.

It would be horrible and miserable, and avoiding this by winning, will be Trump's liberty-loving Americans (from Am. Revolution to WW2 Generation--Teaparty-MAGA/KAG) biggest triumph of all and freedom is secure for another generation.
