Fox News Launches New PR Campaign as Final Fuck-You to Former Conservative Viewers: "Fox News, Standing Up for What's Right"

Eat it, serfs.

Don't blame Tucker for this -- he doesn't control the branding on the channel.

newfoxslogan.jpg

They might as well say what they really mean:

The New, Improved Fox News

Fuck you, Deplorables.

Fox News has updated its network marketing campaign to "Standing Up For What's Right" following President Donald Trump's Twitter tirade against the cable news channel.

The new verbage appears on primetime chyrons, and comes soon after Trump went on a retweet spree against the network, making sure his 89 million followers saw the statement "#foxnews is dead."

Don't click on the link -- it's more prog bullshit about how the Democrats never, ever commit voter fraud and to even suggest they do is tantamount to doing a Holocaust.

Meanwhile:

@RealMattCouch

Dana Perino is now urging Dominion to sue Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani in the latest edition of "Watch our Ratings Burn"

Hey man she's just "standing up for what's right."

@EmeraldRobinson

Right now @FoxNews is in a death spiral like nothing I've ever seen.

They lost HALF their audience in the last TWO WEEKS.

I can't confirm that, but looking at yesterday's ratings, I sure am seeing an awful lot of Fox shows far, far lower on the list of the top 150 cable networks than I'm used to seeing.

And I'm seeing CNN and MSNBC beating Fox. Even Hannity and Ingraham are now falling down the list. Ingraham's primetime show (although late prime at 10 pm) is now barely ahead of Jake Tapper's 4pm show. And Tapper was notoriously low-rated.

Tucker is the only one holding his ratings.

Remember the days when Fox News would account for half of the top twenty highest rated shows on cable?

Well dem days is done.

Speaking of Tucker: this video of Tucker Carlson blasting the social media monopolies forming a Censorship Cartel, and basically making the case for an uprising against the ruling class, is great. Give it a click if you don't mind putting a tiny amount of money in Lachlan Murdoch's pockets.

(I'm pretty sure you're hurting him enough by boycotting Fox.)

1 Holy shit this whistle blower interview is nuclear.

-She is naming names. This took place in Detroit. Here is the synopsis.

-This lady is an IT tech for Dominion Voting Systems, sent to the polls to make sure the machines operate correctly and assist the workers.

-While there observes anomalies in the counter on one of the tabulating machines, resulting in hundreds of votes being counted numerous times

-When reported to her boss Nick Ikonomakis (VP and co-owner) he took her aside and said "the last thing we need is a problem, we are only here to assist with IT, not help them run elections"

-There were 40 such machines running, she estimates thousands and thousands of anomalies like this, just in that one location

-If a reject ballot would not go thru the machine, the employee would get a blank ballot and fill it out, unsupervised, and then forge the voters signature. She witnessed this all day and all night.

-in a 24 hour shift, not a single ballot filled-in this way was for Trump. There was a table that they called "duplicate ballots" for these, which numbered in the thousands

-Two young guys in their 20s were responsible for inputting ALL the information from that location into the computer. There was no oversight of them. The two of them worked doubles, all day and all night, and were friendly with Nick.

-of all the workers there, this whistleblower lady was the ONLY republican, which she kept a secret. Every other worker was disparaging of Trump the entire time, and were wearing BLM stuff, 'I can't breathe', etc.

-Also implicated in the mis-handling was City of Detroit employees and supervisors, including Daniel Baxter, doing forbidden things such as going outside to smoke. It is supposed to be a contained building. They were in and out all through the shift, with boxes of ballots just sitting on tables.

-City was supposed to provide food for the workers, but didn't have enough. Vans were brought in supposedly to bring food, but no food ever came out of the vans. They were completely unmarked vehicles. Whatever was being unloaded from the vans went out their back doors and up the stairs.

My interest in politics increased tremendously in 2000 when Gore tried to steal the election.

Before that, I always supported the Republicans but I was one who didn't see a great difference between Democrats and Republicans. But what Gore and the Democrats tried to do after election day made me a political zealot and I watched Fox News a lot. The same thing is happening now for millions of people who turned out for President Trump and are now watching their precious Vote being tossed in the trash heap.

It really has bothered them that they couldn't get big name Donks for interviews and every interview or town hall they were able to get the Donks to do they basically told them to go right and fuck themselves.

113 The collapse of FOXNews is going to be a case study in media/business malpractice. Universities will study this for years.

If FOX Corporation means for its news division to be profitable (for shareholders), its entire board of directors and most senior management would be fired. If they aren't removed, then it's clear that the motive isn't profit from that division and that it is a part of a larger corporate plan. Let FOXNews lose money, share, and influence in order to make gains elsewhere. I don't know where, but it's a large corporation. Presumably, they'll make up losses elsewhere in the corporation.

Either way, we'll get a clearer picture of what exactly FOXNews is based on which direction they take. I think they already tipped their hand, but maybe it was just a colossal, historic blunder.

There are some who are on Fix that still have a reputation for honesty.
They should run, run, run away from that reputation-sucking hole as fast as they can.

Gutfeld owes his success to Fix, starting out with RedEye for years that he built. Then The Five, and his own show on the weekend. Of course, Red Eye also made FIX a ton of money, so it isn't like he didn't pull his weight. But is there anyone else who would take him?
And Jesse Watters. The guy looks like a young Bill O'Reilly in his delivery, which is who he cut his teeth with.

Tucker has his own reputation, and has options. And he has all that family frozen TV dinner money.

Steve Bannon was talking about this yesterday. He thinks it's a money move. Fox thinks that 20% are on the right and 20% on the left (CNN and MSNBC) are fighting for those viewers) and about 60% in the middle. Fox is trying to present themselves as in the middle. He said it's about advertising. Basically CNN has shit ratings but has bigger companies as advertisers whereas Fox is a lot of small name companies. If true, what Fox and Drudge don't understand is the left has smeared them as far right. They won't lose that label no matter how much they whore themselves to the left.

At this point, I assume that anything contrary to the party line that is allowed to be said on Fox or any other left wing cable channel, including on Tucker Carlson's show, is controlled opposition. It's allowed because it's not considered to be any real threat. It is meant to have a short term tranquilizing effect as we are directed to the slaughter they have planned for us.

Tucker denounces Silicon Valley, with style, it's all true, and they keep right on doing what they're doing.

Easy. Admit they fucked up. Fire the perpetrators of said fuck up, publicly naming and shaming them. Then fire the worst, tell the rest to shape up, and continue on as normal.

You might have to let a dozen people go total, and eat crow for a day or two, but then it would be over. Simple.

I mean, their polling people are the worst. they are fucking subcontractors - it costs NOTHING to fire and shame them. So. Just. Do. It. Maybe publicly dump Chris Wallace for his embarrassing debate performance. You only have to shoot a couple of villagers for the rest to get the message.

It's not hard. That is actually why people are leaving in droves. They see that even the tiniest capitulation by Fox is impossible. Fox cannot and will not admit they did anything wrong. In fact, YOU'RE wrong, customer. You're the idiot here, not Fox.

342 Read a book about a Japanese survivor who was just outside Nagasaki when it was bombed. The flash was so bright in the air that his first thought was that the Americans were dumping gasoline and igniting it in the sky over the city. Bizarre.

I read they thought for several days after it was a bomb consisting of finely ground magnesium that had been ignited. It was the only thing they could think of that could possibly burn that hot.

I have it on good authority if a nukular blast occurs, you can jump in an old fridge, and even if it gets thrown through the air some distance, you can roll out of it like it was almost nothing.

Especially if you're a 70 something year old has-been, just looking for a paycheck by reprising your roles for which you were once famous.

And I have read that the Japanese physicists were sophisticated enough to analyze the event to determine that it was a uranium device. Uranium was believed extremely costly to process and rare enough that the US likely had just one bomb.... so no need to surrender. Besides, it was no worse than a well executed fire bombing and very unlikely to be repeated.

Posted by: Martini Farmer - Now a Pirate Hoisting the Black Flag at November 19, 2020 07:30 PM (3H9h1)

476 This is probably too late in the comments to mean much, but here goes.

I think the progressives really believe that the deplorables are brainwashed. Meh, maybe they are, to some extent. But the core belief of the deplorables is freedom, independence, liberty, etc. That make brainwashing such a group a herculean task. And conservatives, as a group, are generally pretty cynical about government, information, the media, etc.

But if the right can get brainwashed, why can't the progressives? Why can't THEY believe in false narratives? In addition, they are VERY prone to believe the government, to think the government knows what's best. They are also, by their own admission, very communitarian, and willing to go along with the group.

It's just an odd quirk - all I ever here about is progressives talking about us being brainwashed, and never, ever wondering if they aren't the same.

There is a great quote out there from Magician Brother John Hammon. It says that adults are far easier to fool than children - adults are persuaded, and don't expect gimmicks to trick them. Children are hard to fool, because they watch closely and don't listen. They are also leery of tricks.

I'd say progressives are the adults (smart, listen carefully to magician, and are absolutely convinced they can't be fooled), and conservatives are the children (we carry the knowledge that we CAN be tricked, and not to listen to what someone says, but watch what they actually do).

BBL, this sounds like Must See TV!

480 Watching the competition between the various mainstream media outlets is like watching a women's weight-lifting competition. Fox News is the trans-gender contestant from East Germany.

487 Plus as far as I know, they are still counting votes in AZ

Good to know. I dont trust the nightly backstabbers on the left.

Posted by: FloridachickTrump WON at November 19, 2020 07:30 PM (ml+CM)

I don't either, I could end up being wrong but I think the endless dragging out of "counting" in AZ is a ploy to keep from announcing Trump actually won the state. If AZ gets pulled from Biden's "win" column, it gets harder for them to justify their insistence that he is "president-elect".

Posted by: Inspector Kemp at November 19, 2020 07:30 PM

Spend any time over at Democratic Underground, and you'll see this is best case. One commenter's solution over there today is:

1. Bring to heel (or abolish) Faux News and Facebook
2. Bring to heel (or abolish) talk radio
3. Deliver newspapers at least one a week to schools, so they are exposed to truth.
4. College for everyone.

Others are more pragmatic, and while they won't say 'final solution', they can get pretty close.

Posted by: Duncanthrax at November 19, 2020 07:36 PM (DMUuz)

491 I rarely, if ever, watch tv for news--on occasion, I will watch cspan or some of the coverage of Trump rallies.

The endless prattling, the supposed experts, the horrible garish graphics, noises, chryon, plus the talking heads, make for a horrible experience for me as I read and comprehend a lot faster than I do from a conversation.

So, no problem for me not watching Fox, as well as the other alphabet networks. When I do watch, it is either classic movies, old tv comedies, or old British ITV and BBC series. Wife likes TV more than I do and she doesn't care for TV news either.

So I really do not care what Tucker does or does not do, I do think maybe though he might be intrigued in a possible political career in the future though.

---> right, it's not a handcount. as if they could pull that off in 2 days or whatever. It was a recount of a computer count. Not a check on which mailin ballots were fraudulent or anything "hand" about it.

507 Old motto: We report, you decide.
New motto: We push the narrative we have decided is right, you lesser people either lap it up or go elsewhere.
I began watching/reading Fox when it seemed that they honored the old motto.
I quit Fox, probably permanently, when it became clear that they honor the new motto.
Seriously, that boast, "Standing up for what's right", is precisely the kind of Libtard self-head-patting that makes me think of puking. All the more reason to ignore them entirely.

Anyone near Milwaukee this Saturday - meet up for the MAGA rally in Wauwatosa, Mayfair Mall at 11 a.m. Sheriff David Clarke is organizer. Sounds like the Proud Boys will be there for security. This is it.
Sheriff Clarke hosted Mark Bellings program this afternoon and detailed out the plans. Listen to Proud Boys International President at about 1:21 time.

519 Dana Perino is now urging Dominion to sue Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani in the latest edition of "Watch our Ratings Burn"
Think about this: If Dominion takes Perino's advice and sues, then Powell and Giuliani will have right of discovery.
Might be worth it ...

520 Well, last night, Tucker took out after Sidney Powell. It was a cheap stunt to berate her on air. He claims she would not produce evidence sufficient to satisfy his curiosity regarding the Dominion/ Smartmatic systems. All the evidence she has is in the complaints. She offered him an additional affidavit and access to her statistician. She suggested that he and his crack team actually investigate it themselves. I guess Tucker just needed to earn some cred with the executive suite, so they can close their file on this election, and resume limp-wristed criticism of yet another Democrat administration.
