Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Racist, Homophobic, and Anti-Semitic Graffiti in Well-Publicized Buffalo, NY "Hate" Crime Turns Out to Be (Steel Yourself for a Shock) a HoaxIt's as if the Ruling Class has taught millions and millions of people that the world can be your oyster if you just make the right sort of false claim, and that you won't face any consequences for your lies even if they are discovered. The owner of a BMW that was spray-painted with racist and homophobic graffiti in October is now facing insurance fraud charges. Erie County District Attorney John Flynn announced Tuesday that, Clifton Eutsey, 18, allegedly spray-painted messages of hate on his own car in North Buffalo. Swastikas, the N-word, KKK and profanity against Black Lives Matter were spray-painted all over the car, a BMW X5. The police report also stated that sugar was poured into the gas tank. ... There was also a message of support for President Donald Trump that was also spray-painted on the car, 2 On Your Side reached out to the Erie County GOP for a response when the incident occurred.Of course they did. Will they be issuing an apology? No, of course not. Supposedly he might face up to 7 years for his crimes but we all known a Soros prosecutor will let him off with probation. Avoiding getting willowed last thread:
The reason I supported DJT for POTUS from day 1 is that he was a sincere and serious advocate of stopping illegal immigration and was the only one with both the balls and desire to do the right thing. Not that he would always be successful, and we might disagree with specific policies of his during normal peacetime, but as I stated in a long exposition some months ago, he wants the grand prize that no one else is able to attain if they even want to -- he truly wants to be known, in history, as the guy who saved the Republic. You *cannot* buy or cheat your way to that distinction. Lincoln could easily have taken a bribe from the south and let it go -- the New York draft riots were epic. But he didn't. He proclaimed that the United States of America was not going to be dissolved on his watch. He delivered when no one else could and was assassinated for it. For that alone, I'd rank Lincoln second after George Washington, who truly established the precedent for the President of this republic. However, neither one faced an opposition like Trump has. Long story short, it eventually came out from another coworker that the idiot was paying like $300 a week for the car, at 20% interest. Anyhoo some clown claimed his mercedes benz was graffittied with swastikas and the nagger and I don't remember what all. Naturally, this was after the obligatory hand wringing, candle light vigils and passive aggressive nonsense. "It could have happened, which is just as bad you guys!" I could occasionally hit the 300 meter target during M-16 quals and was like 90% on the 250s, so I'd usually score between 36-38 out of 40. Good enough for expert (marksman, sharpshooter, expert) and I'd proudly wear that badge on my dress uniform (though if I screwed up and hit sharpshooter, I'd downgrade). This was during my time as a forward signal platoon leader. It "signaled" to my platoon that I was a competent officer in this regard. I was a pretty good looey because after making sure the mission got done properly, my biggest thing was earning the respect of my NCOs, which I think I did.

It fills me with rage bile to this day. Let's take hard physical assets that are almost always owned outright and then subsidize the owners with borrowed tax money to exchange it for a new asset that is encumbered by a car loan and then, in the crown of stupidity, *destroy* the unencumbered asset so it loses all value. Add in to it that the new, encumbered asset is probably of foreign manufacture it the lunacy is compounded. In addition to the utter madness of incentivizing people to destroy unencumbered assets in favor of encumbered assets and using tax dollars to do it while enriching foreigners, it also ruined the low-end car market for a decade - which in turn seriously hampers poor people who need or want a car but suddenly can't get one because the government literally destroyed the entire low-end used car inventory in an act of appalling recklessness. The reason I supported DJT for POTUS from day 1 is that he was a
sincere and serious advocate of stopping illegal immigration and was the only one with both the balls and desire to do the right thing. Putting hundreds or even thousands of Virginians at risk for the sole purpose of selling guns is just not worth it and I'm pleased that the Judge agreed with me. The gun show operates in a building 50,000 square feet larger than the Walmart next door. Walmarts aisles are 6ft wide, while the gun show's are 14 ft wide. But BMW's use lots of plastic where it shouldn't be used. Mercedes has terrible near comic electronics. Then, when it was decreed that "X" amount of the car had to be recyclable, what does Mercedes do? They decide that a good place to do that would be the insulation on the fucking wiring! If you watch the presser, it's clear why the left is screaming bloody murder-- they know they lose under the law.
The Supreme Court has a very clear question before it: If it's a violation of the Equal Protection Clause to deny someone their vote, is it also a violation to count a vote that was not legal--cancelling the vote of a legal voter? Bush v. Gore said--7 to 2-- that counting which votes are legal differently from county to county was an EP violation.* They HAVE to keep this in the court of public opinion, where they can count on the media and tech to censor in their favor. Near 250k watched on RSBN; their Liz Willis got the 1st question. *the remedy was that Gore could continue his recount but it had to be statewide and the same standard. In PA, that means Trump will be allowed to count every county under the Philly and Pitt standard, that those who had their ballots rejected can be called in to cure-- even if that takes past 12/8/2020 .... hehe he. No such thing as a cheap used German car.
Posted by: Asshoes at November 19, 2020 04:04 PM (22mNy) When I was looking for a new used car just before the lock-down, and even at the beginning, BMW's were saturated. In NorCal, there was 300+ of any given 3 series or 4 series BMW, with pretty low mileage, 2017-2018. Cheap. Lexus GS/ES/IS? Between 5-12, higher mileage, 2014-2016 and about $5k-7k more. While it was slightly compelling for the cost savings and a faster car, I knew that $5k would only last so many trips to the shop. Been there, done that. I work with realtors, and they all feel like they need to drive Audis, Mercs or Bimmers (lease, of course). The guy with Audis went through 3 in one year. Engine actually blew up in one. I don't even think he had it a month. The gal that always drives Mercedes has to trade in within 2 years. At 70k, they're in the shop too often. The one I know with a 6 series coupe, well almost every time I see him he's driving his 90's beater F150. Because it runs. Great for a second or third car if you keep the mileage low and can afford the upkeep. Me? I hate having to take the fucking things in. I don't have the patience. After driving German cars for 20+ years, I bailed. Never again. Posted by: clutch cargo at November 19, 2020 04:14 PM (8B6Ng) 389

Corvair suffered from the same handling quirks as the early 911. If you took your foot off the gas in a fast turn, the back end loses traction and swings around on you. And it's really hard to convince someone to keep on the gas when they get scared.

My out of pocket was $13,500, including tax and tags. Other than tires, fluids, and batteries, I've put less than $1000 in it so far. AC compressor needed to be replaced 2 summers ago. I've done little things (like replacing the blower fan for the heat / AC. The part was $50.) Not a cool car. Not a chick magnet. Not a fast car. 383 If you watch the presser, it's clear why the left is screaming bloody murder-- they know they lose under the law.
In PA, that means Trump will be allowed to count every county under the Philly and Pitt standard, that those who had their ballots rejected can be called in to cure-- even if that takes past 12/8/2020 .... hehe he. 462 Oooh, we're talking about cars!
My husband's car radio/CD player only worked briefly after we bought the car used. I'm wondering if just pulling out the radio thingie and making sure all the connections are tight might be enough to fix it. Otherwise, I don't think I can buy an exact replacement new. The car is 12 years old. I see refurbished replacements out there and wonder if they are reliable. Posted by: President-elect Emmie at November 19, 2020 04:23 PM (4JM5Y) There are thousands of aftermarket CD/radio/USB alternatives that will fit in the space. We put 400,000 miles on a used rental car. Loved that thing! It protected my husband from multiple deer encounters, although after awhile the engine mounts were a bit abused from all the collisions. So it had a very distinctive engine noise.

They used to be huge with surfers because they were dirt cheap and you could store all your stuff and food and beer in the thing, plus boards on the roof. Then they got a reputation as a boring family car that was painfully uncool, and people stopped buying them. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at November 19, 2020 04:43 PM (KZzsI) 520
I've told this story before. One day when I was in high school my dad brought home a 1957 Chrysler 300C with the 392 Hemi and 2 each 4 barrel carbs. Rated at 390 HP (Horse power ratings in the 50s and 60s were wildly optimistic). He decided not to buy it, because he said I would probably kill myself in that car. He was probably right.
Several years ago I looked up the price of one of those on the Internet. If you had a junker, which was good only for parts, it was worth $250,000, if you had a running restored model in show condition half a million. They haven't gotten more affordable since then.
