Had open heart surgery 20 years ago.Has pace maker.Has major respiratory issues from smoking for 40+ years.Has been on dialysis for about 4 years 3 days a week.
Is on so many meds the bathroom looks like behind the counter at Walgreens.
Basically has all of the things they say put you at high risk for death from the lung aids except for obesity.

He was admitted to the hospital last Thursday for some issues he was having and was diagnosed with lung aids on Friday.

The lung aids may get him but I'm getting messages from the hospital (cannot visit). They started him on a remdesivir IV and some steroids on Friday. Since then they have been telling us he is improving.
If he goes back home in any kind of condition close to what he was before, which wasn't great, this is just another sign that the whole thing is basically BS. It will also be about the 4th time I thought there was no way he's going to make it only to have him do so.

Usually restaurants only automatically add a gratuity if the party is over a certain size. I probably wouldn't give them more than 18% unless they were especially attentive or had to put up with a lot (kids, fussy adults, big mess, drunk people, etc).

Oh yes. And also have family friend where one spouse is in nursing home, and is so lonely and isolated they just gave up. Not COVID, just depression and losing the will to live. Hell. my parents recently said if they get COVID they're fine just going out because they are depressed. come. They know a lot of people. The funeral director is willing to have
a "regular " service in the church. I am not going to cancel a service
which can give Christian consolation to people in grief because my
