The woman who posted this on Twitter, Erica Werner, is a "Democracy Dies in Darkness" reporter. I don't know if a Democrat leaked her the content of the call, or if someone let her listen in.

The first woman mentioned, Abigail Spanberger, is the woman who was losing in Virginia until they miraculously "discovered" 14,000 votes for her on a thumbdrive.

Unfortunately, my guess would be that the court will not want to be responsible for another Bush v Gore decision, and so will announce that the integrity of the ballots cannot be determined, however since elections are a legislative issue, any remedy has to come from the state legislatures and not SCOTUS.

SCotUS could invalidate the vote and send it to the House delegation to vote (each state gets 1 vote decided by the members of their house delegation). Which has happened a few times in the past when states ballots were in dispute.

I have read in several different places that there is indeed a watermark on the ballets that can't be seen. They show valid ballots.

Also... if that is what the Supremes say, well, they are dooming us to a one party rule forever. Do they want to do that? Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. I really don't know.

The Supreme Court has the duty to follow the Constitution and the law.

It is equal protection for each voter, fraud disenfranchises voters who follow the law and vote legally.

If the Supreme Court cannot do that then what are they there for, the very system collapses.

I'll repeat my position on this, because it's a new thread.

I don't think this matters even if it's true. There is a world of difference between a fraudulent ballot and a counterfeit ballot. I suspect there are damn few if any counterfeit ballots.

The elections office orders ballots from commercial printers with adequate technology to manufacture them properly. If they order *way* more than they need (and they could easily get away with that this year, with it being an expected high-turnout year, the 'Rona, general incompetence, etc.), they have a reserve. That makes *way* more sense to me than counterfeiting ballots.

If you have a shit-ton of them in reserve, then if you're losing you could just, say, stop counting for a while while you go fill in those perfectly real, non-counterfeit ballots in adequate numbers and illegally dump them into the queue to be counted when you turn the scanners and tabulators back on.

And this is really what I think happened. The elections commissions in these states were sitting on huge numbers of real, paid-for, blank ballots. When they needed to fix the election, they filled them out and sent them into the queue.

This is outright fraud, but it isn't counterfeiting. The people doing this are *in the government.* They don't need to counterfeit ballots, because they have access to the legitimate supply chain.

They will - barring a miracle - steal this election and we cannot stop it.

How we react is another story. And the odds are that we will just accept it given what I said above.

Ummmm...

First, the NSA isn't law enforcement and technically isn't allowed to operate inside the US. Long way of saying, they never get warrants.

Second, law enforcement absolutely does need warrants to listen in to phone calls or read emails.

Third, the exception you may be thinking of is that the courts decided that law enforcement can look at meta data without a warrant. It's super controversial, but basically the idea is that "well, it's not private since the phone company knows about who you called and when." That line of caselaw started with landline phones and checks being processed through banks.

The Trump campaign is trying to stop vote curing of mail in ballots that were missing signatures,addresses, and/or security envelopes.

They were calling up voters to supposedly correct this which is not part of Pennsylvania election law.

Second, law enforcement absolutely does need warrants to listen in to phone calls or read emails.

Third, the exception you may be thinking of is that the courts decided that law enforcement can look at meta data without a warrant. It's super controversial, but basically the idea is that "well, it's not private since the phone company knows about who you called and when." No, the signature / address / person verification happens before you get your ballot.

There's no signature box on any ballot I've ever filled out.

So if someone had, say, a few thousand blank ballots, 10 pens and 5 people, they could absolutely fill those out, slip them in with the real ballots, and no one would ever know.

That is why I think they stopped the counts on election night. I suspect that they were done or close to done - close enough to certify - and so were able to use the downtime ("water pipe" in GA, arbitrary everywhere else) to match the spare ballots against the voter rolls to find holes they could plug. It had to be done at truly titanic scale, which is why I think they threw the brakes on counting.

And yeah, someone has to sign them. But it doesn't matter. That won't get caught without a full-blown ballot audit and comparison against known signatures, which I doubt will happen. Recounts won't catch it, only end-to-end auditing and reverification could possibly catch that.

They were afraid of getting ahead of the orders so the stopped all counting to make sure they had a strategy and enough states to win.

anyway, that's how I read it. Otherwise, why stop. You don't need to stop if you plan ahead, but maybe they planned on getting FLA or some other state legitimately and panicked that they might need extra cheating.

they would still need the signature in the book, right? and I wonder, are the ballots numbered? not sure on that, seems like they should be, and/or a time stamp when it goes through the scanner. (so if they closed the polls and 1000 went through after, all Biden, it would be suspicious) Mail-ins have to be signed, I assume.

One poll watcher said the scanner was not recording all the Trump votes, and Biden votes could be pushed through multiple times ... not really sure how that would work, but ballot switching at the polls seems possible. So many ways to make elections clean ... Dems designed the "loopholes".

Yeah, I hear the same is true in PA.

The process is match signature on envelope with signature on file, then open envelope and count the vote, then throw away envelope.

So, again, it would be very easy to slip thousands of ballots in to the stream of ballots with no way of knowing what was real or fake.

And I *suspect* the dumpsters that the envelopes went in to have already been emptied and the contents incinerated so there is no way to match up the # of envelopes w/ the # of ballots.

The DMV system, I would guess. You sign for your state ID or driver's license. In CO, if you don't have a state ID or driver's license, you *must* go in to your county office to register to vote - and I suspect (thought they don't state this) that this is because they need the signature on your voter registration in the absence of DMV records.

If you have for example, 300 ballots, but only 250 people for a given location who could legally vote, you have fifty fraudulent ballots. In all locations you may not be able to lock in on which ballots are fraudulent. But if you can prove that there are enough to question the integrity of the results, then there are other means and methoods *in the constitution* to resolve the issue.

But first, you must audit and recount. It will be painful, but it can be done.

The problem as I see it is the Right doesn't trust the DoJ to do it, and the Left wouldn't trust an independent arbitration of some sort.

AtC is right, no matter how this shakes out, the two halves of the country will even more bitterly not trust one another, and when that happens, systems collapse. How fast?

I dunno. But its no longer tearing at the edges.

I have said this a few times. The Court can declare that the remedy is for the individual State Legislatures to solve the problem by selecting the slate of Electors. This puts the onus on the individual States, which is where it should remain.
Consequences for the State Legislators will be left for the voters next time.Consequences for the State, if they choose to allow this fraud fuckery and theft, can quite possibly be a refusal to accept their Electors by Congress.
And this is all within the Constitution, it just needs people with the balls to do it.

That is why I so desperately want PDT to push this as far as it will go.

And, since I am on a freaking rant, anyone who says we are a 'democracy' needs to be immediately horsewhipped.

The monitoring process is supposed to have watchers from both sides watching them compare signatures to the voter rolls. They do not count any vote until both sides agree the voter is legitimate. Same for absentee or mail in votes.

That is three comparable signatures, ID, Ballot App, Registry Book + photo ID check.

In Crook County, IL they check off your name and address that you verbally give them and you get a ballot and a sharpie. No ID, sig or photo.

528 I can think of a number of ways Trump could combat the vote-stealing without bringing Congress or the Supreme Court into it:

1. The story that ballots for all states are provided by DHS with invisible watermarks seems to be false. However, many copy machines embed yellow dots in unique patterns, which are equivalent to a watermark. If (e.g.) the elections supervisor in Henrico county testifies that all of their ballots are printed by a 100-year-old printing company in the county, and if examination of dots shows that 20% of them were in fact printed at the Staples closest the supervisor's house, and if that 20% are all Biden votes: that would be absolute proof of vote fraud, and we could throw out those 20% and recalculate the results. (I think most states have automatic recounts for elections within 1% or 0.5%, and some have optional recounts for 2%. All the states they're stealing should qualify.)

2. It would be even easier if the Henrico thumb drive doesn't have a stack of paper ballots to back it up.

3. If some Detroit districts are reporting more votes than registered voters, Trump lawyers would have a very strong case for adjusting the numbers. Suppose a district has 150% turnout. A Trump lawyer could magnanimously grant that maybe a bunch of votes (at least half of them, obviously) were inadvertently counted twice, and maybe the ratio of Biden votes to Trump votes is correct, and maybe they even had 100% turnout, but even granting all this, they obviously need to subtract one-third from the Biden total and one-third from the Trump total. If I were a judge who wanted to avoid having to do the whole election all over again, I would find this argument persuasive. The beauty of this is that the Dems in Detroit are adding so many fake Biden votes, only to achieve the tiniest of margins, that this would suffice to reverse the election. I mean if stuffing the ballot box to 150% by adding only Biden votes turns a 70-30 district into a 90-10 district, then subtracting one third from each total would delete 9 Biden votes for every 1 Trump vote. Of course, we know that the "mistakes" were not "inadvertent", but we could magnanimously grant that maybe they were and still win very solidly.

4. I've seen at least one report of a Democratic poll-worker so disgusted by the blatant cheating that he went public. If he or a quieter colleague has recordings of poll-workers openly talking about their cheating, maybe even with numbers - "Wow! I really need a break! Filling in fake Biden ballots is really exhausting, but I just hit my quota of 2,000 for the day!" - that would be the ball game. A judge could certainly subtract 2,000 from the Biden total in that district.

5. Variation on #3: I've read (probably in Thomas Wictor) that the military has drones that look and sound and act like flies, that have been used for reconnaissance in the Middle East. Will we have film and sound of poll-workers talking about their crooked work while cursing the damned fly that keeps hanging around? If I were writing a short story, I'd have a poll-worker swat the fly, say "WTF? It didn't squish, it crunched! OMG, tiny mechanical parts! Trump has it all on tape! Everything we've done and said! Aaaaaaargh! We're all going to jail!" And then another fly he hasn't noticed way up by the ceiling says in a booming voice (Trump's, of course) "Yes, you're all going to jail! We're making America great again by locking up all the sleazy bastards who've been fucking it up. See you in court, assholes!" One can dream.

In
Crook County, IL they check off your name and address that you verbally
give them and you get a ballot and a sharpie. No ID, sig or photo.

Cruz was intimately involved in Bush v. Gore 20 years ago. That experience is what propelled him into the national spotlight, and he can draw a straight line from that case to the Senate seat he now occupies.

His silence is deafening. I was speaking with my brother about this, and he said that he was at the White House on Election Night, and probably gives DJT advice behind-the-scenes.

I told him that it's not good enough. Not nearly good enough.

Good points but Cruz was cheerleading Antifa during the '16 GOP primaries when they were going after Trump supporters, so I wouldn't have much faith in him than to do something like blubber about "muh Constitution!" while jabbering on the Levin show.

Trump was at 84% Tuesday night ... until Fox announced that Biden has won Arizona.

Up until that point, the Trump campaign was like Sherman marching thru Atlanta, taking no prisoners. He seemed an inevitable winner ... until the Fox phony announcement. Then the air of invincibility was pierced, and the entire narrative changed.
I will never forgive Fox for doing that. I am praying Trump wins Arizona, just so every American can see exactly how those smug phonies knee-capped Trump, just so they could impress their friends at the next wine tasting party in Georgetown. No excuse for it.
