Disgraced Ex-Congresswoman and Throuple Enthusiast Katie Hill Gets a Sympathetic Movie Deal (Of Course!);
Katie Hill's Former Staffers Take Over Her Twitter Account and Reminds World That She Is a Predator and a Liar

Elizabeth Moss, the go-to so-dumpy-she's-relatable frumpstress of The Handmaid's Tale and every other leftwing woman's TV project, will play the Throuplist in a TV movie to be produced by Blumhouse.

The movie will depict the disgraced former Congresswoman -- who sexually harassed her subordinates -- as A Strong Wammen Hero to be emulated, because she's on the LGBTQ spectrum and everyone on the LGBTQ spectrum is obviously a hero, as Jim McGreevey and Kevin Spacey can tell you.

The book tells of Hill's experience as a young woman with no prior political experience whose charm, and common sense won over the people in her district and thrust her into the halls of power in Washington. While her brash confidence won her powerful allies and infuriated her enemies, it was privately concealing a cycle of domestic abuse she was trapped in at home, infamously culminating in the release of intimate photos and the revelation of her own admitted personal mistakes that would eventually result in her stunning fall from grace.

...

Elisabeth Moss added, "I am so honored to have the opportunity to portray Katie and to help tell her story. Her strength and work to amplify women’s voices is incredibly inspiring to me and her experiences could not be more important for us to magnify right now. As always, Jason and the Blumhouse team are such incredible partners and Lindsey and I are thrilled to make something powerful with them and Michael."

That didn't sit well with whatever former staffer still maintains control of Katie Hill's twitter account, and that person scolded Hollywood and Elizabeth Moss for portraying a sexually-harassing #MeToo villain as a #MeToo hero:

She's on record as the "go-to" actress if you need someone to play a role in literally ANY heinous communist propaganda bullshit movie or TV show. "OH look, here's an unwatchable left-wing propaganda script -- get Elizabeth Moss on the phone!"

When you have a reputation like that, you are guaranteed a steady stream of roles. Don't need to sleep your way to the top.

Whether it got physical or not over that was a difference of opinion between them, though I guess the FNM is going to claim she was the truth teller here.

122 The book tells of Hill's experience as a young woman with no prior political experience whose charm, and common sense won over the people in her district and thrust her into the halls of power in Washington.
++++++++++
Charm. Common sense. Raising an astounding $8.6 million for her race - more than the combined total for all candidates in the same district in 2020. Netting nearly $1.5 million from PACs and authorized committees, far greater than is typical for a CA congressional race. An astonishing - and extremely suspicious - nearly $7 million from individuals.

But mostly the charm and common sense, with the vast sums of money and background machinating a distant third. Certainly a distant third.

199 Speaking of people "on the LGBTQ spectrum ":

Back in the early 20th century, there was this "literary" clique of pretentious English writers who hung out together, called "The Bloomsbury Group." It included people like Virginia Woolf.

The Bloomsbury Group are treated like demigods amongst the hoity-toity English Literature PhDs, who cant' stop studying and analyzing every tiny little detail o their lives and writings.

I've always wondered: Why? Why is this clique of writers constantly promoted as so worthy of awe?

Well, I jut found out why:

One of the main artists in The Bloomsbury Group was a painter named Duncan Grant. And, to everyone's shock and amazement, a huge cache of heretofore unknown drawings by him were just discovered and donated to a Bloomsbury Group-themed museum. Because he's so famous, thee drawings are valued at 2 million British Pounds.

So what's the point?

THE DRAWINGS ARE ALL COMPLETELY X-RATED GAY PORN, with Druncan Grant making "life drawings" (i.e. depicted scenes he's actually observing) of over-the-top homosexual orgies back in the early 20th century:

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/entertainment-arts-54453773

The drawing are so nasty that the news report can't even show them to you in full -- just enough to give you an idea of what's going on -- daisy-chain anal sex conga lines, facials, etc. etc.

So THAT's why everyone is supposed to idolize the Bloomsbury Group - -behind the scenes, everyone knows they were are total perverts.

No, in fact most female stars are that way. It's like Hollywood was taken over by people that don't know what an attractive women is and keep putting these women in leading roles. Elizabeth Moss, Emma Stone, Bree Larson, Kristen Stewart, etc, etc. For God sake just put Gil Gadot in every movie.

Posted by: lowandslow at October 08, 2020 03:25 PM

Had a huge crush for a while on Emma Stone when she first hit the scene. Until I found out she was just like all the rest of the scrunts in Hollywood and supported baby murdering Planned Parenthood.

Also like Brie Larson in Scott Pilgrim and 21 Jump Street until she went full SJW-scrunt.

Used to like Kate Beckinsale until I found out she was pro-baby murder.

Hoping Gal Gadot doesn't suddenly reveal she supports baby murder too. She did reveal she's a completely out of touch ditz with that stupid COVID-19 song video she did with a bunch of other clueless idiot Hollywood types.

I can sort of forgive that. Baby-murder, not at all.

Netting nearly $1.5 million from PACs and authorized committees, far greater than is typical for a CA congressional race. An astonishing - and extremely suspicious - nearly $7 million from individuals.

Well, her experience prior to Congress was running a homeless non-profit Path, (People Assisting The Homeless) a "non-profit" that helped pass Measure H, $1+ billion funding for homelessness.

In 2017 PATH received contributions of $36-million, giving them a revenue of $47.7 million. PATH then paid out $25-million in annual salaries which is 52-percent of their total budget.

Those in a position to benefit from these measures helped elect to Congress one of their own, Katie Hill who touted her homeless outreach efforts without specifics on her campaign page. . .

I picked this topic so I could maintain some interest for a full year, "How the Bloomsbury Group influenced the movement from Victorian to modern sexual morality."

There was a ton of homosexual stuff, including that horror (caused ww2) Keynes, but there were also love triangles, gender fluidity, and a FUCK TON of mental illness. I think one of my conclusions was that the alternative morality was influenced by metal illness. Some committed suicide.

I read, examined, and analyzed literally every work of every one of them. Va Wolf was a loon and her shit sucked, as does all stream of consciousness excess.

The only one worth a shit was EM. Forrester.

I went to England and hung out in Bloomsbury for a but and have since ignored them for 30 years, actively avoiding the Woolfs and Lytyon Strachey.

I was told to make it through season 1, hold out for season 2. By season 2, things finally gelled. The repellant characters suffered, storylines went in interesting places. So I held on and ended up loving it.

It's a visually gorgeous show. But the wordview of the writing is so bleak. I had to ask my mom, SOME people in the 60s were happy, right, and functional? Real love existed, some families were happy and well adjusted under the Ozzie and Harriet veneer? Some people had joy? Because according to Mad Men, everyone was just utterly miserable.

The real early Sixties was not like that. If you look at pics and films of real people walking on the street, they did not look as if they were toiling under a Soviet dictatorship. They looked energetic and confident. Not every single person, but the majority did.

424 To help willow this, OT.

The truly astonishingly repugnant, stupid, arrogant thing serving as MI governor blames Trump for a handful of extra-chromosome retartds "plotting" against her. She specifically mentioned Trump's utterly unimportant, if dumb, bark-on-command comment on the "Proud Boys" (of which he'd probably never heard) in the "debate".

But I believe the "plotting" goes back months.

Hmmmm.

So, she's invoking the Palestinian Inverse Temporal Causation Theorem - things in the future caused things that happened in the past.

Good to see America is so, so, so degraded and dumbed down that we now have governors sounding like Palestinian propagandists trying to excuse the murder of toddlers, or something.

Sadly, too many restaurants around me don't have the option of putting tables outside, or if they do, it's a tiny fraction of indoors because there's just no space available. A lot of places are never going to reopen.

Yes, antifa is nearly 90% white kids bent on anarchy. This is a heck of a stretch for them to make, since antifa has made it obvious they think they're anarchists. So, this guy has no American flag, no MAGA hat, no freaking luau shirt (although I believe that was invented from whole cloth) and we're supposed to believe they're a bunch of Trump loving "patriots".

527 I promised I would take a look at the Democracy Institute Poll, here we go...

The DI poll is the one that got both BRExit and 2016 Presidential right. They are also identified by the left as a Republican Thinktank and pooh poohed as biased, therefore safe to ignore.

Here is what I like about the poll. It is a large sample, 1500 respondents. They also weight the results to get a more realistic party affiliation. Finally, it is a likely voter poll.

The methodology is random phone calls using cell and landline with the question prerecorded. Responses are through touchtone response. They also poll battlegrounds in the process, I assume they are using area code differentiation to determine which states. The subsamples for states are smaller, meaning larger margin of error. So the national poll has a 2.5% MOE, while the Florida subpoll with 500 respondents has a 4% MOE.

Overall results Trump 46%, Biden 45%, Other 4%, Undecided 5%

Party ID - 37D/35R/28I

Race breakdown:
White - Trump 52, Biden 45
Black - Trump 18, Biden 78
Hispanic - Trump 40, Biden 50

Age breakdown (Trump approval number)
65+ - 58%
45-64 - 65%
30-44 - 44%
18-29 - 36%

There are many other breakdowns, I'm not going to list them all, the ones above were most interesting to me.

Issues of importance - Riots 32%, Economy 30%, Education 15%, Covid 15%, Immigration 8%

Trust on economy - Trump 60%, Biden 40%

Approve Trump on Covid - Approve 45%, Disapprove 49%

Positive Impact on justice reform for Blacks - Trump 41%, Kim Kardashian 41%, Biden 18% (LOLOLOLOL)

Are you comfortable with people knowing how you will vote? - Trump voters 22%, Biden voters 87%

Will Trump be reelected? - Yes 61%, No 39%

Now some state results, keep in mind smaller samples so larger MOE

Florida - Trump 48, Biden 44, Other 3, Undecided 5

Minnesota - Trump 46, Biden 44, Other 4, Undecided 6

New Hampshire - Trump 45, Biden 43, Other 7, Undecided 5

All Battlegrounds (FL, IA, MI, MN, PA, WI) - Trump 47, Biden 43, Other 5, Undecided 5

That last category is a little confusing, I think they just lumped all responses from those states together

Some bad new on MD-7, although not surprising, the sample from the district was small though, 300 respondents, so 6% MOE on this one

Mfume 46, Klacik 34, Other 6, Undecided 14

Overall, this poll shows Trump with a decent lead in places he needs to be leading. It isn't a blowout, but undecided breaking toward him would increase his numbers. Turnout really matters, he isn't far enough ahead that he can take anything for granted.

Also, this poll shows weakness with older white voters and weakness on Covid. I think his rally tomorrow on Rush's show will really help him in the weak demographics.

Finally, one last nugget:
Could you change your vote before election day? Trump 2%, Biden 7%

Big Promises From Macron
After years of criminal neglect, the French President promises a responsible approach to Islam.

...In his Friday speech, he rolled out a new program intended to defend French laiicite, or official secularism, from "Islamist separatism," which he explicitly characterized as an existential threat to the Republic. "Secularism is the glue of a united France," he proclaimed, and Islamists are pursuing "a conscious, theorized, politico-religious project" that holds Islamic laws to be "superior to those of the Republic" and that spurs Muslims, in effect, to shun mainstream society. He even said -- sacre bleu! -- that Islam "is in crisis" and warned of the danger posed by those who seek to establish a "caliphate." (Note that in Europe, people who say such things are routinely characterized by the mainstream media as wide-eyed Islamophobic conspiracy theorists.) Macron also admitted that one reason why "Islamist separatism" had been allowed to fester was the "cowardice" of French authorities; while adding that France's colonial past was part of the equation, he rejected excessively broad efforts to blame that colonialism for the situation of Muslims in France "who have never known colonization."

By way of response to the challenge of Islam, Macron introduced a five-part program aimed at "strengthening secularism and consolidating republican principles." First, public services would no longer agree to special concessions to Muslims -- for instance, no separate swim times for Muslim women, and no tolerance for Muslim bus drivers who turn away immodestly dressed female passengers. (Interesting that this wasn't already a firm policy.) Second, athletic, cultural, artistic, and other associations will be scrubbed of any hint of Islamist "indoctrination." Third, secularism will be more strongly emphasized in schools: parents will no longer be able to pull kids out of music or swim classes (both being haram), school instruction will be compulsory for everyone over the age of three, and "foreign interference" will be prohibited. Fourth, the government will abet the formation of "an Islam of the Enlightenment" in France, which will involve "the development of high-level Islamic studies in universities" and the establishment of an "Institute of Islamology." Fifth, disaffected Muslims will be encouraged to appreciate and even love the Republic, a task that will oblige French leaders to carry out a "reconquest."

Lots of terms get thrown around a lot.

Here's my interpretation, for what it's worth. Antifa are basically socialists/marxists, so by the very definition they are NOT anarchists. As far from being anarchist as one could reasonably get.

Whatever tactics get used though, sure, I bet there's a lot of overlap, with symbols and dress and all that being similar/same.

My belief is, the anarchists haven't been the people in the streets these past few months. I could be wrong though.

587 499 BurtTC,
Anarchism and communism in its modern sense came from Russia under the czar. Anarchists of this strain believed in the Marxist idea of the state withering away after the Revolution not in the derivative Leninism. There has always been a stench of Marxism in Anarchism.

The idea was that capitalism, governments, czarism, etc. were oppressive institutions that denied humanity and so random violence and assassinations along with massive suffering of the civilian population was necessary to bring about the revolution. The worse, the better as it frees the human soul. Strong strain of nihilism, obsession with violence and death, and not particularly popular.

Interesting thing though is that the liberal Kadet party in the Russian parliament could not bring themselves to condemn nor use government against the anarchists and as a result, liberalism floundered despite having strong incentive to fix Russia post 1905.

You see the notion of anarchism and violence taken up again in Germany post WWI which is the direct ancestor of American auntie fae

It would be simpler if that were true, but it's not.

Think of "anarchists" as more extreme Libertarians.

There are a lot of them, and they're more likely to be Larping "militia" types than they are the ones in the cities, burning down businesses.

Posted by: BurtTC at October 08, 2020 04:24 PM (hku12)

621 The relevant portion of the 25th Amendment says this:

"Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."

So, Nanzi Pelousi obviously can't read, since yes, CONGRESS can "by law" create a body to look into the president's capacity, the president would have to sign that law to allow the body to be created.

AND, Vice President Pence would then have to agree with the Congressionally-created body that the president is unable to fulfill the duties of his office.

So, she's full of shit, and this will go nowhere.

Moss is simply plain. A hard 6 with a decent rack. Most guys have done worse, if they're honest with themselves.

I'm reminded of Ace's teardown many years ago of some chick who had an absurdly high opinion of her own desirability to men because she got a lot of dorky guys hitting on her online. In response to her remark that her suitors should have "more realistic expectations" of what kind of woman would find them attractive, Ace wrote, under her headshot: "With all due respect, for the vast lot of us, this is, alas, what defines 'realistic expectations.'"

Moss is perfect for the parts she takes in feminist-targeted projects for the same reason Lena Dunham gained a following: she's not so hot that dumpy feminists couldn't picture themselves in her place; and if someone as plain as them can be put in roles where men desire them, it gives the feminists something to hope for.
