Kentucky AG: "Mob Justice is Not Justice"
Burn Loot Murder Is Already Pulling Out Their Guns in Louisville

One (former) cop was indicted for multiple counts of "wanton endangerment."

The two (former) detectives were not indicted.

That wasn't enough for the Burn Loot Murder mob.

They're getting an early start on terrorist violence -- they're starting before Sundown Joe Biden has even called a lid on the day!

(Content warning for use of the n-word in the below clip. Sorry, I didn't know -- I watched with no sound.)

The AG speaks:

BREAKING: Kentucky Attorney General says search warrant executed in #BreonnaTaylor killing was NOT a "no-knock" warrant & officers announced their presence

No. Louisville isn't. The black community and their lack of information, knowledge and civility that's on the edge. The fact that he even went there with a gun shows he had the intent to punish anyone he felt he needed to. And I'm betting they'd be white, no matter who they were.

But of course BLM isn't about making things better but "rubbing raw the sores of discontent" as instructed by Prof Alinsky.

Posted by: xnycpeasant at September 23, 2020 01:54 PM (r4fw8)

100 So instead of using this event to rally for a law that would outlaw no knock raids and have the police go back to surrounding the suspect's home and telling them to come out with their hands up (something I actually would support as too much can go wrong in a no knock raid) they decide to burn down the city. Sounds reasonable.

Not entirely their fault. NYPD forces its officers to carry Glocks with the 12-pound "New York" trigger. Long heavy gritty pull. Total garbage meant to reduce negligent dicharges. Which is funny since the flinch response to threat stimulus in most adult male hands and fingers is closer to 20 pounds of pressure.

163 One of the reasons I won't become an obsequious cop worshipper (like Michael Berry of Houston radio fame) is because that, yes, while they deal with reprobates and dirtbags on a daily basis and this involves certain levels of danger, the badge isn't, and cannot be, a shield from outside criticism. That outside criticism can lead to things which will aid the cops AND the wider public. And one of the things that I believe will help cops in the end would be an end to no-knock raids - that is, unless a lot of other people put their asses on the line to execute one.

I understand why a no-knock raid might be needed...but make it so that ordering a no-knock raid is akin to the President ordering a nuclear strike. Have everyone up the chain of command, including the chief, the mayor and the city manager put their names to the authorization. If one of them is queasy about it and does not put their name to the authorization, or the warrant, or what have you - it does not happen. If all approve and it turns into a clusterfuck were people needlessly die, there will be hell to pay and a lot of people will be held accountable.

216 No-knocks are typically used to prevent destruction of drugs or other evidence, or to prevent barricaded gunman (with hostage) scenarios. Better idea is to establish pattern of life on your subjects and do what you can to arrest them away from their dwelling. 221 The documents also alleged that back in 2016, the body of Fernandez Bowman was found in a car rented by Breonna Taylor. When LMPD detectives arrived at Taylor's home to question her, Glover was there. Taylor told the detectives she did not know Bowman, that she had been dating Glover for several months and that she had let him drive the rental car. She also gave detectives her phone number, which was a number that Glover was still using as recently as February of this year, according to the documents.

Fernandez was found shot in a car that Breonna Taylor had rented, but she claimed she had let Jamarcus borrow it and didn't know anything about anything. Even after they broke up, she was stashing money and drugs for him and helping him launder cash, as well as at least four other drug dealers. That's why her home was one of the four drug houses they had warrants for (they served three simultaneously).

The first Mrs. Wolfus once lived in Louisville. She thought it a nice town, certainly better than The Pesthole here (I didn't realize she was right until years later). Locals pronounced it, she said, "Lew-uh-ville."

She always said she wanted to go back there to live. I wonder if she's there now. . . .

Execution, of course. What else?

FFS cops broke into her apartment in the middle of the night and murdered her.

Posted by: Bandersnatch at September 23, 2020 02:15 PM (wzVKm)

334 From Louisville Courier-Journal article from Aug. 25, 2020 -- https://tinyurl.com/yxa732qx :

(Police officer) Mattingly has told investigators police knocked and announced they were officers and that nobody responded so they used a battering ram to force open the door.

Taylors boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired one shot from inside the apartment, saying later he thought intruders were breaking in, and it hit Mattingly in the thigh.

Mattingly and Cosgrove returned fire first through the doorway, while Hankison fired from the outside the apartment.

Taylor died in her hallway after she was struck five times by the officers' bullets, according to her death certificate.

In a recorded call from the jail later the same day Taylor was killed, Walker, who was charged with the attempted murder of a police officer, told a friend the same story he told police - that neither he nor Taylor knew the intruders were officers.

"They was beating on the door" and Taylor "was like, who is it and they ain't saying nothing," he said.

Charges against him have since been dismissed, subject to further investigation.

Cops say it was announced, guy who apparently started the shooting says it wasn't.

I have to disagree. I don't think she needed to die, but she was caught in the crossfire after her boyfriend started shooting at the cops, one of whom he succeeded in shooting. Even if the boyfriend truly did not know they were cops and was honestly trying to defend himself, her killing was still not murder.

I actually think that there is room for police reform to protect both regular citizens and cops (and reform of lots of institutions), but unless I am missing something, this wasn't murder.

Why? It is as if the BLM/ and left race hustlers WANT the street thugs to be the hero victim just to rub our noses in it.

515 Unless the Dems can flip the Senate to 60-40, they are going to have to kill the filibuster for a statute vote.

Then there is no filibuster anymore. Which is partly okay with me because "discussion" under filibuster has long been more of a sham. The vote was to "close discussion", we are so sharply aligned that there really is no discussion, so filibuster is a holdover from a less ideological, more polite time (although there was that one incident of one Senator whacking another Senator with a cane)

To restructure the Senate and the Court with a narrow margin in the Senate, really seems to show the whole power grab it its naked glory.

If the American people don't react, this country has already been done for, simply by the Democrats building the Pander brand over so many years that people would rather believe the thin gruel of Democratic lies than switch to the "enemy" Republicans.

562 Basically bad shit can happen when you raid a house in the middle of the night, and for that reason I think the city owed the family a cash settlement. But if the officers were following procedure they were following procedure and criminal proceedings should be right out.

563 I think that of all the stupid mobs and riots and protests, this is the one that has the most validity behind it. No, they shouldn't be throwing a tantrum about this but I mean, at least she wasn't some scumbag crack head thieving brute and the cops really did not act properly at all.

Oh, for fuck's sake! Have you not read up-thread at all? Taylor was part of the criminal enterprise, full stop. She held money, took delivery of drugs, and laundered cash. She was a knowing enabler, not a dupe.

564 My grandfather's generation, from southern Indiana along the Ohio, always called it loo-ee-ville.
Posted by: Citizen Cake at September 23, 2020 02:27 PM (HmZuC)

Still do in our generation. I grew up there. Americans have a grand tradition of calling cities like they want to no matter what the residents do.

565 Re: pronunciation, as a general rule any town name in the south that ends in ville is pronounced "vul". In NC, Asheville is pronounced Ash-vul.

Like I said earlier- shades of Alice Marie Johnson. BUT, I am not saying she wasn't entitled to due process. As far as I know, she did not have any criminal record.

567 in case no one mentioned it, Kentucky's Atty Gen is a Black Republican (forget his name though). I presume the mob will demand he resign.

If I'm not mistaken, he's trying to protect the McCloskys and going after the DA.

Different state - in MO it is the state DA versus the criminal, evidence tampering City DA in the McClosky case.

568 It's par for the course, just doesn't normally take this long to find out that the rationale behind a BLM tantrum was, in fact, bullshit.

569 "Breona Taylor is dead because her idiot boyfriend decided to fire on the cops, and she just happened to get caught in the crossfire. Sad, but oh well."

If IB heard the cops ID themselves, then he was committing a felony when he fired on them, which means he was legally guilty of killing her. That's why he was charged with murder.

Oh, wait, he wasn't charged with murder. Huh. What's up with that? Is he Black or something?

570 Meh. You see one riot, you've seen them all.

571 And you think that guy has a permit? Hopefully authorities can use this video to grab him up, because he'll be the tupe to go looking for white people to shoot, since he sees this as an excuse to finally do so.
