Judge Reverses Previous Judge's Ruling and Gives Crazed Mother Full Permission to Change Sex of 8 Year Old

Yesterday, a Dallas judge took away Jeffrey Younger's say in his son James' medical, psychological, and psychiatric care, giving that power to James’ mother, who wants to "transition" him into a "girl." After receiving national attention in October 2019, the bitter parental dispute had ultimately resulted in both parents getting a say in decisions regarding James and his twin, Jude; this ruling effectively reverses that. James Younger’s mother, Dr. Anne Georgulas, will now be able to enroll the eight-year-old in school as a "girl" named "Luna" and subject him to transgender medical procedures. ... Yesterday's ruling effectively reverses Judge Kim Cooks’ October order. After almost a week in court, in October Cooks had granted both parents, Mr. Younger and his ex-wife Dr. Georgulas, a say in medical, psychological, and psychiatric decisions for James and Jude. If the parents could not agree, a court-appointed parenting coordinator would be the tie-breaker. Now, Georgulas -- who supports subjecting James to a gender "transition" -- will be in charge of those decisions. Georgulas is not even James and Jude's biological mother; she and her now-ex-husband used an egg donor to conceive the boys via in-vitro fertilization. ... Yesterday, Judge Mary Brown, who was appointed to the case in January, granted Georgulas’ requests to force Mr. Younger to pay for counseling for James and Jude and attend family counseling. Mr. Younger previously objected to both of these requests as he was not allowed a say in the selection of the boys' counselor or the family counselor.

If you come from a good family, arranged marriage actually strikes me as a win/win. You're gonna look out for the best interests of the kid, pick a compatible mate to mutual benefit, and so will the other party. Accept it, grow into it, and get on with it. It doesn't matter quite so much for Zoom or most office work, but it matters a helluva lot for various trading functions (stocks, commodities, etc.), infrastructure functions, etc.

I've wondered about this. In cases like this, a court appointed juvenile advocate surely seems appropriate.
It's called being a Guardian ad litem. My wife, who is an attorney was appointed one and served as one for about two years before we moved out of state. She represented the child in court and often interviewed the children and the parents as well as other family members. She had to compile reports on her findings and present them in court. The great bulk of her cases were post divorce decree arguments and child abuse charges.
But the key is the court appointed her. In some states you may request one be appointed. But if Judge Bang the Gavel Who is Never Wrong doesn't appoint one, they don't appear.

Yeah I didn't mean to tie them together as being similar at all. I was just taking the "medically altered" phrase and was reading it as all being tied together in with FGM and thinking that any law putting all that together would possibly get circumcisions wrapped up unintentionally. When I was growing up, I was friends with a family of 5 boys and one girl, who was a tomboy and fraternal twin. That is wholly incompatible with the transgender movement, which is all about "gender is a social construct."

So the main reason for the switch, I believe, is because genetics was about acceptance. I amend my earlier remark. I would be executed because, being a US Marine, I could get to the judge too before they caught me. And I would turn an object lesson for any other judge considering a ruling like this.
