Had an interesting conversation with some young hipster types yesterday. Two couples, early 20s, hipster clothes and hair, one of the girls had the dyed-red hair.
As we were chatting, just because I was waiting for an Uber, they happened to be there, and this being a friendly town, one of the guys mentioned that they were headed out to see a live band in a while...and then everyone kind of froze for several uncomfortable seconds. I lowered my voice conspiratorily and said with a grin in my voice: "Isn't live music against the law in this state?" Picking up on my vibe, another answered, sotto voce, with a sly smile, "Well, we're kind of rebellious." I said: "Me too. Always have been. If you young folks wouldn't mind an old greybeard dropping by, I'd love to give them some business and enjoy some live music. At this point, ANY kind of live music!" They said, you'd be more than welcome! They gave me the name and location of their Music Speakeasy. Don't know if I'll actually go but hey, I might. I was very careful not to bring up politics, but gleaned several things from the group: they hate Polis. One of the young ladies said she wished he was up for re-election so she could vote against him, and they all concurred. And, it was one of those things where you are speaking conspiratorily and pick up on the vibe, I had a distinct feeling they were not voting Biden. The communists are now hitting Trump for not decrying an article that Kameltoe is not a Natural Born Citizen when he has not even read the article. Not only that but the only reason she is eligible is due to the misinterpretation by the State Department of what a Natural Born Citizen is. This is how the so-called anchor babies came about. All you have to have according to the "current" misinterpretation is to be born inside the US and not to an authorized diplomat. It doesn't matter if your mother is a legal or an illegal. Fake Republican Mitt the Shit has some ideas about saving SS and Medicare. You can bet your ass if he has any say on it there will be another "tax" increase and not a nickle of it will go to SS or Medicare. That is exactly what happened to the other two SS tax increases. And they will probably raise the eligibility age again with that old saw about how people are living longer. That is largely a myth created by how we compute longevity. For SS and medicare longevity should only be calculated AFTER reaching 65.

First thing I thought was... whatever... the data is all shit and they've been lying about cases and deaths since this all began, so who the hell knows what the actual numbers are. Not to mention, masks don't work. Second thing I thought was... how does this compare to regular deaths per day of other causes in the U.S.? Just looking at the CDC website data: 2020 COVID-19 deaths: 151,559 Deaths from all causes: 1,671,434 Per Day COVID-19: 671 Per Day all causes: 7,396 So COVID-19 deaths represent only 9% of total deaths in USA. https://bit.ly/2AbN6Ld Posted by: Clyde Shelton at August 15, 2020 06:50 AM (Do5/p) 88

We went thru areas of the west where we saw buffalo. People would stop to get pictures and then others had to get closer to take a picture and so on. People, just about any camera you have now can take a pic, fix it up on your computer, and you've got a nice picture Posted by: Bruce at August 15, 2020 * * In CO the state or the county had fixed up a big preserve with a bison herd west of Denver as you began the climb into the mountains. In fact the Interstate ran through it, and the bison had a tunnel between the north field and the south field. You could leave the I-70, park, and walk up to the fence to look at the bison. There was a sign on the fence warning you to keep a bit back. I've always heard that bison can charge a man on foot without reason or warning. And then 10 minutes later, Chicago DA is going to release you with no charges. This is why police officers don't bother arresting these people, because it's a waste of time and effort, when the local DA and AG recommend release without charges. Why put yourself in a situation like what happened to the Minneapolis police officers -- who did everything by the book to try to save George Floyd's life during the arrest -- where someone can snap an out of context video of you doing your job and then use it to trigger more riots and put a target on the backs of you and your family. I have a rant in my head that I can't quite polish, but this is part of it. We don't have the second amendment in New Jersey. I used to wish for a Bandertopia, where we'd get the freedoms from other countries (casual public nudity in gyms and saunas) and all of the liberties from America (buy a simple license and walk into the woods with a gun in season). We have facial recognition and license plate readers in cop cars, so there goes your fourth amendment. We can't go to church (not that I did, it's just a matter of principle), or to bars, or to gyms, so your peacable assembly is fucked. The first amendment is being clamped by tech companies not government, so it's sort of not unconstitutional but you're deprived of free speech anyway. About the only thing we're missing is quartering of soldiers in your house in peacetime. I have spent my entire life believing that America is special, that our freedoms are better than anyone's. I'm having trouble feeling it right now. Posted by: Bandersnatch at August 15, 2020 07:01 AM (q2K0j) 110
Our Whole Foods went full N*zi months ago, and I won't shop there anymore. Shame, too. I had moved into a new apartment half a block from WF just before ths shamdemic started, and I had initially been happy to have fresh produce within walking distance.
First sign of trouble was when they removed all outdoor seating early on, when they could have spread the tables out like every other place. Then, the armed guards at the door appeared. Next, they self-limited their capacity far below what the state mandated and started lining the sheep up on the sidewalk clear around the building, waiting to get in. Final straw for me came when the armed gestapo stopped me at the door and told me reusable bags were no longer permitted in the store, even if you self-bagged. Again, this is their own decision. Literally every. single. place in town lets you bring in your reusable bags if you self-bag. And that had been the policy at WF only a week or so earlier. But the kicker is: There was and *still is to this day* a giant fking sign in the parking lot, mounted to the top of the cart corral, that you walk past on the way in, that reads: "Don't Forget Your Reusable Bags." Still not removed, painted over or covered with a tarp. King Soopers is right there on the same plaze, no guards, no lining up like sheep, no insane bag policies. I shant darken Whole Foods' door again. Posted by: Guy Smiley at August 15, 2020 07:02 AM (FtO5h) 111

Joe Biden announced that if elected he'll mandate outdoor muzzling for all. Posted by: Guy Smiley at August 15, 2020 07:23 AM I don't get this stance by the Left at all. By him saying this, isn't he stating that every Governor or Mayor who has not mandated mask-wearing right now is actually putting people at risk? Because no one needs a mandate from the President to locally mandate mask-wearing. That's obvious from the cities and states who already have mandates in place. So Biden is basically saying two things: -- he thinks any mayor or governor who has not mandated mask-wearing is endangering people's lives -- he believes in federal government control and bullying states to do what he wants Remember when the media flip-flopped on first wanting President Trump to mandate lockdowns across the country and then questioning if he had the authority to force lockdowns to end? Has anyone in the media gone back to that discussion of the authority of the President to do such things? Seems like a good question for Joe Biden. "Mr. Biden, by what authority would you as President be able to order each state to have mask-wearing mandates? Posted by: Clyde Shelton at August 15, 2020 07:29 AM (Do5/p) 169

Hey Califorinans you know why your power is off? It's not because the people who run the state are lefty nitwits, it's climate change!
'The heat and the blackouts are hitting at an especially vulnerable time for the region with the pandemic forcing people to remain at home. They're also coming less than a year after utilities in the region deliberately cut off power to millions of customers in an effort to prevent their power lines from igniting wildfires amid unusually strong winds - another consequence of increasingly extreme weather brought on in part by climate change.' Just discovered a really fantastic Prog band from Denmark called Fall of Episteme. Not quite neo-prog, not quite retro-prog, not quite prog metal. I like that they don't fit neatly into any category. Their self-released album sounds fantastic for a self-release. Great production and engineering. Great musicianship, tons of enthusiasm - you can tell they have a blast doing what they do - but what I like best is that they never forget the golden rule: even in Prog, you gotta have TUNES in there, man. Memorable, hoooky tunes. And they have 'em.
Really digging their 15-minute fantasy-epic "Invisible Crusader." Its message of the common people rising up against a corrupt leadership kind of resonates with me these days. I know we have a lot of Prog Rock fans here so thought I'd give these guys a plug. http://fallofepisteme.com/ Posted by: Guy Smiley at August 15, 2020 07:45 AM (FtO5h) 202

Chink flu update: Our racist gov Northam stirred up the fear and panic about Hampton a few weeks ago, due to that community's defiance against his stupid mask and anti-business policies. that health district has gone from 4 to 7 deaths (pop.138,000) in the past month. meanwhile, my peninsula district (pop.350,000) is holding steady at .0143% deaths, since February. for you math majors, that's 1.423e-4. and we have a lot of retirement communities; the 70+ age bracket accounts for 37 of 47 deaths, overall. Seeing what's transpired over the last 4 years, there will be no indictments and prosecutions, there may be "plea deals," there's no desire by Barr/Durham to take any of this to court. And has been said, this shit wasn't complicated, we know who's who and what's what, the didn't hide what they were doing, they wrote it all down. There is enough publicly available evidence to prove conspiracy, collusion and violations of law to hang roughly two dozen of the coup crew and yet here we are, 80 days before an election an all we got is one lousy low level flunky agreeing to agree to a sweetheart plea deal. Arrested her on Friday so they can hold her over the weekend. She has gotten too close to someone. Posted by: freaked at August 15, 2020 08:38 AM (Tnijr) They arrested her husband too. Rioters and looters go free. They emptied out jails so the poor dears wouldn't get Flu Manchu but these 2 dangerous criminals are in jail Posted by: TheQuietMan at August 15, 2020 08:45 AM (lqr3X) 326
Not all borons are equal when it comes to neutrons. The isotope that does the slow neutron capture is B10.
So. When buying a bag of borons for your neutron grabbing needs, make sure you're getting the non-depleted B10 bag. Oh, and fuck China. Mornin', all. I learned last night that we have been living in on Mass Psy Op after another since 2007. And I thought shit was weird because Obama came on the scene then, plus social media. Nope, it's all part of the 24/7/365 Psy Ops run by both parties through private military contractors and tech companies.

There is a quiet revolution underway across the United States that
signals how the average American is reacting to the Democrat campaign of supporting rioting and chaos in major cities. American citizens are arming themselves to the teeth and this includes many who previously supported gun control measures. Does that mean they'll vote differently? After all of the shit that's been thrown at cops our own Wyatt Earp says that black officers that he works with are still voting Democrat. Unless it means a massive shift in voting this November and big enough to overcome the cheating it won't mean much Posted by: TheQuietMan at August 15, 2020 08:47 AM (lqr3X) 335

122 Seems odd that (I am assuming) most Postal Employees seem to statistically trend toward being Democratic
_________________ The postal workers union officially endorsed Biden a few weeks ago, so that's probably a safe bet. Most government workers are Dims, because Dim politicians are the ones who protect their corrupt and incompetent asses and keep those un-earned and undeserved raises coming every year. I would like to let all know that the size of your Penis really matters in your relationship or marriage. I got married to my wife about 1 month after we met in a photo studio, we lived happily for the first 3 months of our marriage until my wife and I started having quarrels at home because I couldn't satisfy her in bed with my little penis. Actually my penis was very small, it measured about 4.5 inch long on erection and I am 51 years old. My wife said it was forbidden by the women of this world. My wife started sleeping with other men outside. Sometimes i will return from work without finding my wife at home and whenever i call or ask her where she was, she will always snub at me and sometimes just tell me to go get a larger dick. All this continued for a long time and it hurt me so much that I was at the edge of breaking up on the marriage till when I read about a doctor called DR.Moses Buba. online. I never thought i could smile and be in a happy marriage again if not for the help of DR.Moses Buba. I got the doctors Emails
