They Accidentally Sink the Ship and Block Entry To Their Main Naval Port

So their ships can't get out of the harbor or get back in.

The "replica" aircraft carrier was intended to be "symbolically" sunk as part of a symbolic victory over the US.

But they really sunk it and now it's blocking their main naval harbor.

IRAN'S replica US aircraft carrier has sunk by itself and blocked one of its most important naval ports.
In an embarrassing blow to the Iranian regime, the mock-up has been sinking and risks causing a shipping hazard in the approach to the harbour of Bandar Abbas.
Last week Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard simulated attacks on a replica US aircraft carrier with the aim of "symbolically sinking" it, so it can be reused.

In a propaganda coup, Iranian state television reported the exercise last Tuesday, which is aimed at threatening the US amid growing tensions with Washington.

But it seems Iran has ended up being its own worst enemy after its replica carrier sunk by its own accord -- and now risks bottling up the Iranian navy.

The ship sunk in shallow water -- 45 feet deep -- and its top sometimes peaks above the water.

Iran needs to salvage the ship just to unblock the harbor -- but they have almost no salvage capability.

Neighbor and I refused to kowtow to the Karens who have mandated masks in Tahlequah. We went to Sallisaw and Fort Smith. Sallisaw was interesting for the view of WalMart's parking lot. Though the town of Sallisaw is not mandating masks, WalMart is. Their parking lot looked like it does at 3:00 on Super Bowl Sunday...maybe 20% full, if that. Other stores seemed to be experiencing plenty of traffic so I'm wondering if people are starting to take their frustrations out on WallyWorld.

Fort Smith was just as interesting. We went to a mall there. Sign on the door demanding masks. I sailed right through with a naked face. That was when it got fun. People stared at me but the looks were not hostile. They seemed to be thinking, "Wait. That lady doesn't have to wear a mask. Why do I?" They appeared to accept that there was a reason I wasn't masked and it set them to thinking.

I hope to hell they keep thinking. This has to stop.

That was 25%+ ammonium nitrate mixed with fuel oil to make commercial grade explosive. Might make a color difference. Actually, it wasn't even commercial grade explosive due to poor mixing and milling. Shit grade explosive, so it had to be BIG.

I hope someone asked Yates just to assume hypothetically that the agents found that Flynn wasn't lying but their 502 was later substantially eedited by people who weren't even there to indicate Flynn was lying; Flynn was never shown the original 502 or allowed access and the FBI notes and then they threatened his son with prosecution if Flynn didn't plead guilty to lying. If those facts are assumed true, was the prosecution still correct?

Eh, that sounds good on its face, but this is how you get inflated tuition amounts, just like with colleges. For instance, if the government says, "OK, you get $500 a month per child for education" the better (whether actually better or perceived to be better due to location, marketing, etc) schools will make their cost $650. Then people will complain that a quality education for their child is now unaffordable and the amount the government hands out will get jacked up to $650 a month per child. That's not even getting into all the easy fraud.

That's now how the process of getting warrants, FISA or otherwise, works.

Cops, in this case the FBI, do the police work of gathering information and verifying it's truth and accuracy and submit a request for a warrant. The prosecutors, in this case the DOJ, don't run their own separate investigations, they rely in the police to be truthful. All they do is certify that proper procedures were followed and the necessary information is on the warrant application.

The question all along was who knew that the Steele dossier was a Clinton product and was total garbage. Yates is saying she was not told by the FBI.

She's lying about other stuff, she might be lying about this, but the bottom line is she is claiming that it was Comey and the FBI that lied to the DOJ.

If nothing else Yates and Comey are now at odds.

406 As hilarious this is, Iran is still a threat to us in that area; I speak as an Anti-ship Missile Defense specialist. This is what I trained to do.

Don't get me wrong - we train almost exclusively to the Iranian threat in that area, from the most basic training scenarios to multi-ship and multi-service integrated wargames. We know what they have and what that can do.

But they can still surprise us, and there's real risk of complacency. Note the incident a few years ago where they took a few Sailors hostage.
