Manipulation of reality can occur in a Zoom lecture just as easily as in a lecture hall. The one saving grace may be that peer pressure will have much less influence over the budding RCYB* members. Sadly, there are no longer competing ideas on most campuses in America. That the Wuhan Flu nonsense has diminished the stridency of the progressive message may be a good thing, but there is nothing to take its place! *Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade. Back when I took my US History 2 class the professor was a socialist, obviously. I has already served in the Navy and understood that he was there to serve me. He would start the class with a statement. I would rebut that statement. He would then proceed to spend the entire class standing directly in front of my desk arguing with me...often at some volume.
I will say, unlike what I suspect modern academia to be, I earned an A in the class and he said that he'd be glad to write me a letter of recommendation to anywhere I wanted to attend.

We need extremists for liberty, not nice, good citizens. Until we get that fire, the decline will go on.

I watched that yesterday. I like Mark Felton's channel (and books). He finds little, overlooked battles & stories of larger wars & gives them the attention they deserve.

Black Lives Matter protestors, some openly carrying firearms (AR-style, some shotguns) march in suburban Colorado Springs suburban neighborhood at home of a cop who was involved in (and vindicated) the shooting death of a young black man a year ago.
Roughly 100 marchers, with perhaps 6-10 carrying firearms, perhaps 5 "organizers" (bullhorn, leading chants, directing the mob, and the remainder largely young white and female, including at least one baby carriage.
One homeowner who is held up for several minutes by the blocked street, reaches his driveway and gets his own rifle out and has a stare down with the marchers.
Cops remained safely in their crisis response van a block away, giving orders over a loudspeaker.
How no shots were fired is beyond me. But it looked like some among the protestors were egging on a confrontation hoping for a first shot fired by a homeowner, while hiding among human shields.

I worked for a conservative organization that communicated mostly by mail. The USPS would refuse to deliver the newsletters and other mailings as often as they could. They would claim we loaded the mail pallets wrong. We had to videotape the loading process to prove they were lying. I'm assuming since we were documenting evidence, we were preparing to go to court if necessary.

Also, the first two A-bombs couldn't fit in the bomb bays of the B-29s - the B-29 had two bomb bays separated by the wing spar. Modifications had to be made in order to fit the A-bombs.

The absolute, abjectly juvenile behavior almost got him canceled from Youtube, but Logan has a large following, so...
He is, if possible, the less objectionable of the two Paul brothers. Jake comes off as a straight up sociopath, whereas Logan seems like an idiot who doesn't think before he does something stupid.

Curtis LeMay had a lot to do with that. The B-29 was underpowered. It had far too much armor and the damn things broke down all the time, a lot of it to do with overworked engines clawing laboriously in thin air. LeMay stripped them down pretty significantly and reduced the armor load, under the (correct) prediction that with absolute air supremacy, they could ditch the armor and their losses would remain unchanged. His crews rebelled, but eventually came around to the idea.
LeMay's B-29 weight loss regimen did wonders for the overall reliability. Added to the other improvements the engineers came up with, it became a formidable weapon instead of a boondoggle that routinely smashed into the Pacific. And a damn good thing, too. The B-29 program cost as much as the Manhattan Project, and failure wasn't really an option.

According to the video, the original design of the B29 could not accommodate bombs as bulky as Fat Man and Little Boy. The wing spar was in the way. They had to build a modified B29, and test it.

YouTube changed the home page. It used to recommend only stuff it thinks I would like (music, political, cooking preferences, etc.)
If you are not a subscriber, they appear to have changed at least some of their advertisements too. Many more long ads of 3:00 or longer, often paired, that can be skipped ahead to their end, before a master "Skip Ads" button is offered. Watch mojo is one video provider whose offerings appear to have gone whole hog on using this annoying strategy.

I don't really know about these Paul fags. But I had to put my foot down and say "no mas" to another one of these YT kids I found the boy was watching. Jack something-or-other. I call him Jack the little asshole.
Seems like he does a similar kind of "prank" shtick - except it's not really pranks. He just has his crew of rich suburban fag kids who roll with him to stores, and then they act like complete bastards to the employees, because it's so edgy and hilarious to belittle people you view as servile because they have to work for a living.
So they do things like, for instance, going to a Subway and demanding that the girl behind the counter re-toast their subs over and over until they're totally charred and filling the kitchen with smoke.
Really funny stuff, that.

Me too. I live not far from a small executive airport. Usually there would be 10 flights a day on a typical summer day. This year its more like 25-30. Net jets is pretty cheap relatively speaking for a large group vs flying first class commercially. And worth the money I guess to avoid stirring with 100 other people on the plane and going through the airport with thousands of others.

I, too, am not the least bit fond of the woman my stepson married; she's the "idiot DiL" to whom I refer here fairly often. I bite my tongue in her presence a goodly amount.
How big a presence in her life are her parents? If it's significant, as is the case for me, then she'll likely get big doses of reinforcement for the behaviors you'll find repellant. That doesn't help.
I have to say, thought, that so far their two children, who see us for one day every week, are a real joy. I cringe, however, when either idiot DiL or her parents say that the daughter is "just like idiot DiL at that age". Both Mrs, KvC and I agree, "Not if we can help it."

There is enormous pressure to *not* do that. If you do, your grades will likely tank. Your peers will ostracize you. Your admission to clubs and parties will be reduced. You will find it harder to date. If you keep doing it, your dorm may be picketed. Offend the wrong precious little girl and you'll be accused credibly (because all accusations are credible) of sexual assault and have your life destroyed.
This is somewhat new. I graduated in 2008. My college was a hotbed of lefty bullshit. Yet even then, I could push back in classes without punishment. Usually. I had a couple of professors where I couldn't, and I dropped their classes. The madness - the real, terrifying all-pervading madness - started to set in about February of 2008. It became icy. It started locking up, intellectually, before my eyes in real time. It correlated perfectly with the ever more powerful rise of Barack Obama. Something about Obama made them all know that they could their totalitarian freak flags fly, and the started to unfurl them.

The kids are kids, most 'way under 29 yo. Most have not been taught to question authority, unless it's mom-and-dad or the church or synagogue. And most are so mal-educated and under-educated, they don't know it's culture-destroying palaver and propaganda.
