It has, but I will admit to being completely flat-footed by this if it's true. When I heard about "auditing" the IC, the idea of a financial audit never occurred to me. I thought it was going to be an operational audit - what missions, where, under whose aegis, what objectives, if objections were met, national security rationale, etc. It never even occurred to me that it would be a financial audit.
Either would be damaging, but I just assumed this entire time that they were talking about ops auditing.

1/4- FBI tells Strzok they are closing down Flynn investigation, Flynn runs to 7th floor to report, they call a meeting w/Obama et.al.; they settle on Logan Act; Strzok goes back to FBI and tells them not to close the case;
1/5- another meeting with everyone except Strzok to lay the groundwork to set up the "kill shot" on Flynn.
I could be wrong, but that's what jumps out at me.
