Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Funny Stuff for Fuck-It-All Friday NightBen Domenech interviewed Ryan Long, who's been blowing up on YouTube by (mostly) making fun of Social Justice Warriors, Woke White Women, assorted Karens, and leftwing bloggers. It's a good interview. You probably have seen him: He did that viral video, "I Got Fired From Vice," in which he described the Vice articles he had supposedly written. The articles were real. He didn't write them -- they were mostly by Vice's "trans reporter" -- but they were real. That video below, if you haven't seen it.He goes out to help Mayor DeBlasio, offering to pay Karens to snitch on their family members for not social distancing: Snitches Get Riches. Then he isolates himself, and just does social justice snitching from his apartment. Related: The Federalist has been the go-to news organization for analysis of the phenomenon of Woke White Women ruining the earth. Bonus: Ryan Long talks to a guy at an anti-Algerian government protest, and quickly gets tunnel-vision about his own erectile problems. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

My hubby used to stop by the Vice channel and it was mostly pot enthusiast shows. For example, three hipster do the Charles Kuralt thing in a camper across America. Naturally, one of the three was a marijuana journalist, so that was a common topic regardless of where they stopped. He also watched a Vice show on "purple drank" hosted by a guy who was on The Wire that was very depressing. Purple drank is some homemade drug cocktail made with cough syrup and I can't remember. It was a 50-50 mix of sensationalism and 'are these fools actually going to get themselves killed?' tension for clicks, yes, but it still took you to places only hapless press agency stringers ever go, interviewing people who you'd never get on a network camera, and even in one project, they went into the dystopian hellscape of North Korea and filmed as much as they could in secret.

My first impression of Sarah Palin in the weeks before they announced her - I looked her up on YT and watched 30 seconds of a local friendly interview - my impression was that I liked her but she seemed "green" (too rookie, it was just too early).
When she broke out, I brushed it aside and fell in love with her because beyond that she had almost the full arsenal - she was as dangerous as anything in America could be to the lefty movement (a sort of pre-Trump) - and was the only elected official with the stones to call out ObamaMania and Obama himself for what they were. A total fraud. And she did it so calm, so cool, so leggy. It was completely unfair but they used her "greenness" to absolutely eat her the hell alive. It was her weak spot. I don't think *anyone* would have survived what she went through - they moved in to destroy her *family*, the bastards - but my point is, I'm not good at much, but I'm pretty good at this stuff. I was gettin' ready to lock up the office when this broad wearin' a mink stole and not much else plopped into the chair across from me and told me she needed me to find her husband.
- She talked a lot but I couldn't understand much because of the mask, and it was especially tough since I'm mostly deaf from hearing gunshots my entire life. Turns out I read lips a lot. From what I could understand this dame needed my help, though. Or possibly a donation for the church. I needed to find her daddy, or the father. Maybe a priest. Or he was a priest. Something like that, maybe. Stupid mask. Posted by: Moron Robbie - Acting crab bucket is worse than acting white at June 26, 2020 09:03 PM (8Fpo1) 301

Posted by: Blonde Morticia at June 26, 2020 08:56 PM (G51Gf) I love words. But there's a blankness on her face. Put her eyes above the camera, especially when she's on prompter, and it's almost that Michelle Bachmann Response look. Compare it to someone like AOC who when she talks, you think that *she* thinks she's moving mountains with every single sentence. It doesn't matter that we think she's dumb and a puppet. It's passion. It's charisma. It's absolutely phony but she's either a natural at it, or extremely well practiced. Or both. I'm not saying that's all it takes, or making a favorable comparison. Coca-Cola on Friday announced it will be pausing paid advertising on all social media platforms globally for at least 30 days
Following Coca-Cola's announcement, Levi's and Dockers said they will be pausing all advertising on Facebook and Instagram through "at least" July: "Facebook must take actions to stop misinformation and hate speech on its platforms. It is an unacceptable affront to our values. We and Dockers are joining the #stophateforprofit campaign and pausing all ads on Facebook." Hershey's also announced Friday that it will be cutting advertising on Facebook and joining the #stophateforprofit boycott. "We do not believe that Facebook is effectively managing violent and divisive speech on their platform. Despite repeated assertions by Facebook to take action, we have not seen meaningful change," the company said in a statement. "Earlier this month we communicated to Facebook that we were unhappy with their stance on hate speech. We have now cut our spending on Facebook and their platforms, including Instagram, by a third for the remainder of the year. We are hopeful that Facebook will take action and make it a safe space for our consumers to communicate and gather. As a company, we stand for the values of togetherness and inclusion and we are resolute in our commitment to make a difference and be part of positive change." John McCain chose Sarah Palin because he's a horn dog and he fell in love with her at first sight (and also based on reputation). Love at first sight is a wonderful thing, but not so much in politics, which is bloodsport. Actually the case could be made that he did her a disservice by falling so madly in love with her and elevating her. I'm a fan of Sarah, but VP in the modern era requires a big-time style because of the omnipresent media. Not substance; style. I realize that these things are shallow, but they also cannot be changed.

My friends, i just grilled pizza for the three little squirrels and a prosciutto, blue cheese, fresh mozz and pesto sauce one for Mrs Squirrel and I.
Its hot as balls where i live (its currently 9 but the grill was 500 degrees and the pizzas turned out well. If you've never grilled pizzas on your gas grill, do it. Roll out the dough, let it bake on one side (get the grill as hot as possible) then flip. Put on your toppings, plop it back on, rotate it a few times and then its done. Pairs well with an excellent merlot. Times are shitty my friends, but these little moments- this is what life and America is about. Time for a nice Islay Scotch. DB - I wasn't referring to Trump's personal future, at all. Talking about the collapse of American values that now allows a Nazi-like enforcement of thought and speech codes on what was formerly the freest society in history.
Just mentioned Trump to emphasize that with/without him (we'll be *with* him for another term), this crap is fundamental, shows no signs of doing anything other than worsening, and I see no tools to fight it. The "private action" thing covers it all, there are no (few) levers to pull on here. FCC/DOJ et al might find a way to slap them down - hell even change the 230 exemption. It really is. Reading through the Google lawsuit filed by conservative men who were harassed and fired, I was struck by how many of the executives and harassers where not Americans. They do not have the same concept of freedom of speech, and it they were openly leading the google employee mob against these guys. It goes from the H1B visa types writing code all the way up to the executives. Now that tech companies are putting together "Safety" councils and censorship review boards, they are selecting a lot of foreign organizations and elites (Breitbart just did an post on the facebook review team). It's like the UN deciding what speech is allowed by Americans online, with all the anti-American, anti-western civ/Christianity/gun/etc. baggage. Tom, absolutely correct - with the narrow and obvious exception of specific serious exhortations to crimes or violence, freedom of speech is absolute, or it doesn't exist at all. One thing that, so far, even the derailed US constitutional system hasn't abandoned (talking about government restraints, not the whole convoluted private sector issue now vexing the sane part of the country).
But look to the UK and Canada, perhaps the most "like" civic cultures in the world, for the nightmare. People arrested for online comments (not threats, comments). Literally orwellian. (In Canada I don't think it's become *quite* as heavy-handed and incredible for the average citizen, but it's there for people who publish). Sickening. Did they manage to have the taped segments of Hannity talking over the other taped segments - not letting him finish his own interruptions of others in which he doesn't let them finish their answers?
Wow, brain hurts, that's like some kind of mind-bending puzzle. Posted by: rhomboid at June 26, 2020 09:41 PM (El6T/) 455

I have no doubt I will dream about the Pointer Sisters tonight, Not Sheena Easton, the Pointer Sisters. Or maybe that chick in Swing Out Sister. It's gotta be that mouth?
Posted by: Eromero When I awoke this AM, a song was plying in my head, I thought I recocnizes the voice and the song but I couldn't place it. Fortune 100 companies now leaning very far forward, on their own initiative, to police "hate speech" on a private sector platform.
Trump re-elected or not (narrator: he'll be re-elected), the country has ratcheted down a big, big notch. Between this racist hysteria and the C19 story (past late April), not possible for me to see the country the same. Everyone's mileage will vary of course. Posted by: rhomboid at June 26, 2020 09:13 PM (El6T/) I am wondering if maybe these companies are wary of Faceplant's dash to the left, and want to defund it, and are using as a cover excuse the notion that Faceplant isn't banning hate speech. Jason is holding the Hannity clips until the end of the show. Like it is some sort of reward. "Ooh Jason. I am definitely not turning off the show when Sean starts haranging Noot Gingrich who harangs him right back and yells about his NEW BOOK". Do you think Tucker knew in advance he was going to be given the night off? Posted by: Tom Servo at June 26, 2020 09:33 PM (V2Yro) No. I think it was unplanned; not saying they told Tucker to take a night off. Kilmead started the show by saying he will do a "live show" for Tucker. That surprised me. Could be anything. The guy does have a personal life. But I worry that someone reviewed his script and said "you can't say that". Posted by: FloridaMoronMan at June 26, 2020 09:45 PM (r28kI) 463
406 Levin last night read sections of the BLM manifesto and then Marx . They were close to verbatim. This is the culmination of years of communist inculcation in our schools and universities.

The Woke Corporate America may not realize they are pissing in the face of their base consumer. China has too much influence ... but America is the buyer of first and last resort. The sleeping giant of America the Beautiful has not woken up .. or maybe just are too patient with the hate coming form the left ... most think it is a phase ... but as with Nike sales, what happens when WokeCorp really slaps down patriotic America?
I think just maybe red-pilled America wins ... but hard to say ... crazy stuff coming down ... free money for the masses, trillions to backstop WallStreet's richest ... imo the 80% that love America do not just roll over for such hate and violence ... obvious deception. But the brainwashing has been pretty powerful ... maybe the sane people have normalcy bias and can't see how far the corruption has taken so many. A long while ago, I took my French girlfriend to a Tom Jones concert. He could sing. I was not the biggest fan of his music, but it was an excellent decision. The thing I remember is her squeals when his sweat under the lights turned his shirt translucent. She appreciated. IIRC, the Trump campaign used facebook data via Cambridge Analytics, to great success. This outraged the Left, despite Obama also using facebook to great effect in 2012 (he hired one of the facebook founders to head his tech outreach). Maybe that's some of it, too?
