Explosive Newly Released FBI Notes Prove Obama and Biden Ordered the Political Hit on General Flynn, and That Biden Himself Suggested the Logan Act as a Pretext
My guess is that Biden proposed the Logan Act as a pretext, and someone else pointed out that this is an unconstitutional law under which there has never been a single successful prosecution. And then Obama [P] pushed for the use of the Logan Act as a pretext anyway by saying, "These are unusual times."
Newly released notes confirm President Barack Obama’s key role in surveillance and leak operation against Michael Flynn, the incoming Trump administration national security adviser. The handwritten notes, which were first disclosed in a federal court filing made by the Department of Justice on Tuesday, show President Obama himself personally directed former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to investigate Flynn for having routine phone calls with a Russian counterpart. He also suggests they withhold information from President Trump and his key national security figures. ... The new notes, which record Comey's accounting to Strzok of the meeting's substance, constitute definitive evidence that Obama himself was personally directing significant aspects of a criminal investigation into his political enemy's top foreign policy adviser. He already has a majority of delegates and is guaranteed the nomination, assuming Democrats operate in the rules.
But, they'll have an out because they could break all the rules, and the activist left knows it. The really murky aspect of all this is their prosecution of a man based on fabricated evidence (inclusive of Strzok changing the 302 to reflect lying to federal officers). The fact that he had to do that suggests that the Logan Act aspect of the case wasn't materializing and they needed to stall hence the former. Priestap, in his January 2017 memo talked about goals, and one such inquiry was "were they going to try and get Flynn to lie about his Logan Act issue."
Look, the above notes don't mean anything. The actions taken building a fabricated charge so they could stall to tear apart the Logan Act potential issues and form an approach is the dirty stuff here. That's because they wanted leverage over Flynn to force the plea deal. I think they did that mostly by threatening to bring Flynn's son into the case...but I, also, think the first defense team and the law firm that produced the Logan Act paperwork on Flynn's behalf were both compromised...and working against their client to some extent.

I don't recall my first big-screen glimpse, but as for Cat People, I thought it was one of the few movies to capture something of what Noo Awlins was like. And Nastassia Kinski was hot -- kind of a Euro Kim Darby with Ingrid Bergman's daughter mixed in.

Its actually a better movie than I thought. I was watching a Chuck Norris film at a drive-in (Silent Rage, one of his better ones) but Cat People was on another screen and given the choice between Chuck and Nastassja Kinsky naked you can guess what won out. Just no dialog.
But watching it again later, its pretty well done and interesting.

I watched The Dark Knight Rises last night. Lots of interesting relevant bits. I don't know how some directors are years ahead of schedule, any explanation would be speculation. Christopher Nolan is notoriously cagey when answering questions.
Bane promises to "give Gotham back to the people." He traps all the police underground (Symbolism in my opinion, is heavy in Nolans films.), then takes over the city. Claiming to "free" it. The entire time he's just a lacky for Marion Cotillard. So it's all her plan.
She paid Bruce Wayne to build a fusion reactor, tanked his stock, convinced him to let her take over "to protect it". She portrayed herself the entire time as a green weenie who just wants free energy when all she really wanted was a bomb.
Back to Gotham.
Sham trials are set up with Scarecrow acting as an insane judge persecuting anyone who was "against society" because they had been successful and wealthy. They're executed. Seeing Cuba pop into the news today with the comments from that guy, this reminds me of Cuba. Socialist show trials. Madman on the bench can easily be seen in today's society.
Bane lets all the criminals out of jail because they were "unjustly locked up due to the Dent Law". He gaslights Commissioner Gordon to make it seem as if these criminals didn't deserve to be in jail. More "giving Gotham back to the people."
It all links back to Liam Neeson in Batman Begins who's plot was to let Gotham destroy itself with fear toxin. His daughter has a new plan: blow it to kingdom come.
At one point Bane literally kneels on the neck of a black Army operations guy. No Floyd commentary particularly ties into this that I can see, other than once again symbolically. The Marxist mad men who want to destroy Gotham are symbolically kneeling on the neck of Uncle Sam. That's the symbolism of today, they're all metaphorically kneeling on a lot more necks than the police ever have. In the film they were doing it to an entire city.
Bane wears a mask, obvious one there.
The final observation, the strange prison in the pit that's almost impossible to escape from. Almost. To me this is a symbolic representation of capitalism. Not in a negative way, but in that if you want to succeed bad enough to make it to the top, you can. It is not easy and many don't do it but it is not impossible. And it is ONLY possible when you do not have the safety line attached to you.
Conclusions: to adequately oppose the wealthy deranged Marxist hordes, we must continually articulate and share the virtues of capitalism and freedom.

Ah yes. I remember her. A doe eyed beauty in a tight fitting sweater. She was a knockout. Can't remember her name now but I did manage to find out what happened to her a few years ago. Apparently others were wondering the same. She did an appearance on Charlies Angels and then that was that. She turned up a few years ago in New Zealand, married 20+ years by then, and making candles. Even had some video of her showing how she made them on some morning TV show down there. She's still pretty but has snow white hair and is a grandma now. She did ok.

Now, I started watching it because I was a little turbo-nerd, but after I realized it had tetons in it, it definitely became Must See TV.
I rewatched it a few years ago --- it holds up pretty well. There is some fine acting in that series, and some pretty fine titties as well.

I would go so far as to say that if the election were held *Tomorrow* then yes, I would certainly be worried. But polls depend on continuity, they depend on things being about the same in 5 months as they are today. How are things today compared to 5 months ago, any similarities at all?
In 1864, Lincoln looked like he was certainly going to lose his reelection bid, everything had been terrible for his entire term. Then Sherman captured Atlanta in early September, and everything changed.
Trump's Presidency is more like Lincoln's than any other. Constant assault by traitors and enemies from within and without, the entire time.

My friend simply stuck his head between the guy and a lady he had trapped at the bar and said ' for what it's worth I think Trump is a great President' and started to sign his receipt when the guy popped up and said 'fuck you! ' in my friends face. That's when my friend lost it and had to be dragged out of the restaurant before he killed the guy. He was embarrassed about it because he has a business and if it went farther he could have really damaged himself. He said the only thing that did make him smile afterwards was two ladies at the end of the bar were cheering him on.

At least the poll trolls are amusing at times by their breathless certainty that this poll surely means djt going down.
The rather stupid assumption is that partisans here are swayed by the same social acceptance needs as Facebook posters. Partisans ignore this stuff as polling requires a likely voter screen to be reliable which does not occur until voter registration ends, primaries are over, and after convention/vacations are over.
From what I've seen, the shy Trump effect apparently exists. Look for a proxy instead like economy, law and order, or generic approval ratings instead.
