CBS "News:" Derek Chauvin and America's Newest Saint Floyd George Had Prior History of Confrontations

I don't think this matters, but maybe not for the reason you think I mean.

I don't think this matters because I'm sure the death of America's Newest Saint George Floyd was completely unintentional.

I personally would not think that putting a knee on the back of someone's neck would be fatal. Uncomfortable, sure. I would think that putting my knee on someone's throat -- the front -- could kill.

Even choking someone out from the front will usually result in unconsciousness, not death, unless the killer keeps choking after the victim is out.

Absent a high-risk medical condition, I mean.

I think the death-by-pressure-to-the-back-of-the-neck scenario is an unlikely one, caused by both the pressure and the drugs the saint was on and the saint's bad state of health.

So I'm having a great deal of trouble imagining someone settles on this bizarre and unlikely-to-succeed method of public execution.

Also, Derek Chauvin was looking off into the distance -- at lookie-loos, maybe -- without showing any concerrn or intensity on his face at all. Which is not the way I'd expect someone committing deliberate murder to look.

If I were committing murder, I think I'd look down to make sure my knee was on the... well, the apparent one square inch of a person's neck that can induce heart failure.

I can imagine murderers having different expressions on their face. "Lackadaisical" and "bored" aren't the faces I imagine.

Anyway, if I thought this was intentional murder, I'd think their prior history of confrontations was meaningful.

But given that this was clearly negligent (at worst), I don't know what this means. Maybe, just that he was more aggressive and less caring than he might have been, if not for the bad blood?

From CBS Fake News:

As mourners in Houston honor the life of George Floyd in Minneapolis, CBS News is learning new details from a nightclub coworker about alleged history between Floyd and Derek Chauvin, the former officer who is charged in Floyd's death. According to a former coworker, not only did they know each other, but they had a history of friction.

Floyd and Chauvin both worked security at a nightclub at the same time. Coworker David Pinney said the two men had a history.

"They bumped heads," Pinney said.

"How?" CBS News asked.

"It has a lot to do with Derek being extremely aggressive within the club with some of the patrons, which was an issue," Pinney explained.

CBS interviews the family, which is spinning every unlikely theory (and conspiracy theory) there is to claim that Saint George was assassinated, and they said the Derek Chauvin definitely knew the Saint.

Really? I've met people I haven't gotten along with and after five years, I could not pick them out of a lineup.

Santamaria said she had been paying Chauvin, when he was off-duty, to sit in his squad car outside El Nuevo Rodeo for 17 years. She said Floyd worked as a security guard inside the club frequently in the last year. In particular, they both worked on Tuesday nights, when the club had a popular weekly dance competition.

Chauvin was paid to be an off-duty cop and sit outside the club?

Wow, they were practically Blood Brothers before the rift, huh?

And the proposed motive for murder is that... Chauvin would sometimes hassle clubgoers too much, and Saint George disagreed with this, and this... laid an egg of deadly malice in Derek Chauvin's heart that then pupated into a Premeditation Inchworm and finally transformed into a Murder Butterfly?

This is dumb. This a dumb, minor work beef that you'd forget about in days. Weeks if you're some kind of grudge-holder.

This sounds like a very petty, very minor dust-up that absolutely no one would kill over -- certainly not years and years later.

If you're this upset by a minor work-beef, then you're a psycho, and you take your vengeance as soon as you can. You don't wait and wait and bide your time until the Perfect(ly Bizarre) Opportunity arises...

I have a feeling that a fleeting and insubstantial acquantanceship is being trumped up for ratings and to advance the left's narrative that this was some kind of... very oddball murder scenario.

And fuck the media, the Enemy of the People, which is trying to start a civil war which it will dearly, dearly regret having started.

75 Thank God that the assault rifle ban went away, and there are so many AR-15s out there now. I don't see this spreading outside of the Seattles and Portlands of the nation. But eventually they will push into some local areas, and the citizens will defend their property with deadly force. Or some of the people who are being doxxed will.

This will not end until a number of these Antifa idiots are killed by people they are trying to attack.

*********

That is the hope that me and you both have. And hopefully, it doesn't require too much violence.

This is MY fear.

A couple of Antifa pukes get smoked by some guy with a firearm.

Immediately, anyone who uses deadly force against Antifa gets arrested, charged and prosecuted by the system.

This puts the fear of the law / system into our side... people stop defending themselves from Antifa...which encourages Antifa to get even more violent...

Which either leads to them winning and our losing (real bad)

OR...

We do fight back, and win...but only after the violence has spiraled so much higher that instead of just a few shootings to calm things down...we need hundreds or thousands or a full fledged war to calm things down.

Or...the fact Floyd died of other causes might cause people to think his death was unrelated to the charges against the cops (I'm sure this is it). Hence, a need to create a nefarious motive.

"And fuck the media, the Enemy of the People, which is trying to start a civil war which it will dearly, dearly regret having started."

Tenses. It has started. It is just one-sided because our side has yet to inflict massive violence, which is fully justified at this point. The first targets should be the propaganda organs. 102 if you killed a career criminal like Floyd and you were not there when the cops came to investigate, and no one got a good look at you, you would 100% get away with it.

They would assume he was killed by a fellow criminal over a street beef. Even if they investigated this idea hard, that obviously would go nowhere.

And it would be impossible for a cop to imagine he was assassinated by a cop over a minor disagreement about a club's fucking CARDING POLICY.

Premeditated murder really isn't the only possibility on the menu. If the two had a beef, even a trivial one, it's possible that Chauvin might have been extra aggressive or reckless when presented with an opportunity to arrest and restrain Floyd. The opposite is true too: it could have made Floyd more confrontational, prone to resist. It's all speculation at this point. But it's not impossible that some prior interaction(s) influenced how this all went down.

Posted by: Jukin the Deplorable and Totally Unserious at June 10, 2020 06:28 PM (pw+jk)

131 I don't believe it was intentional either.

Chauvin had probably subdued lots of people with the knee to the back of the neck move, and nobody had died or even been injured by it. But because Floyd had coronary artery disease, and apparently a pretty good-sized dose of fentanyl in his system, he was a heart attack waiting to happen. And it seems like it started when he was still upright and complaining of not being able to breathe. Chauvin didn't realize the seriousness of Floyd's condition, which is understandable given that uncooperative suspects often claim all sorts of medical issues, and sadly for both Chauvin and Floyd, it ended in Floyd's death, and now Chauvin's public destruction.

Kamala Harris told a group of her homies the other day that it would not be easy to get a conviction of Chauvin. Certainly his medical experts will testify that Floyd's heart attack was due to his CAD and drug intoxication. But he'll be tried somewhere in deep blue Minnesota, and those peeps are crazy leftists, so they may be willing to convict Chauvin of murder no matter what the evidence shows. Or maybe passions will have cooled by then, and at least a juror or two may be willing to actually consider the evidence in the case, instead of just the racial politics. We can only hope at this point.

You give too much credit to them, Jack. This crap is just ad hoc, mindless, free form jazz, and it already has ignited a civil war, albeit a one-sided one. Increasingly, I think when Trump wins re-election those results will be kept from us for a long, long time, and possibly not honored by the one organization that counts, the military.

Yes, I know they often (miraculously!) have racial incidents in election years. But this George Floyd stuff is over-the-top. The funerals? The kneeling? Over the top.

Now they're starting the posturing about how we have to rename bases, rename schools, destroy statues, etc.

Kneepads is correct.

And Minnesota AG Keith "Sharia" Ellison just upped the charges on him from third degree murder, to second degree murder.

That makes it even a greater possibility there will be a hung jury, or an out and out acquittal.

158 There's a Walmart near me that has a county
sheriff's car parked near the entrance. It's always there, nobody's ever
in it, and it looks like it hasn't been washed in months. I don't know
who they think they're deterring.

---

There's always a cruiser parked at my nearest Walmart, too. It's
not dirty or anything--I think they change it every day. A cop here
told me it's because they constantly get calls to Walmart, and they hope
this will deter some mischief.

When we lived in Kentucky there was always a Lexington Cop car parked outside both of the Walmarts on New Circle road. No matter what time of day or night, there was always a cruiser and a Cop wandering around either the parking lot or the stores.

Up in Georgetown 15 miles away where we lived nary a Cop car in sight at the Walmart ever.

There was a reason for that.

However, a great point about the nonchalance on the part of Chauvin. To be at that degree of detachment he'd have to be at the stage of taking down perps every single day and murdering them for all of his police career. Old-hat, ho um. It was obvious that Antifa Loving SOB was going to overcharge. They took the case away from the one, single prosecutor that ever successfully convicted a cop.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman convicted Mohamad Noor of third degree murder for shooting an unarmed pajama clad Justine Damond dead in 2017. He also charged Chauvin with third degree murder.

Now Ellison, who has never, ever prosecuted a case has to prove intent to get a guilty verdict.

My bet, Hung Jury, if not outright acquittal.

And then 1992 LA Riots redux.

Posted by: rd at June 10, 2020 06:34 PM (+0uDE)

165 I doubt Chauvin was trying to kill him, the first charge was some sort of negligent disregard thing ... which makes sense to me. As I understood it, a choke hold to take someone down and handcuff them is one thing ... (which maybe includes knee on neck till handcuffed?) ... but once in handcuffs, knee on neck is not procedure ... especially for that long, more especially if the suspect is unresponsive.

They maybe "overcharged" when they upped the charge to ? some sort of murder (2nd degree?). But the man should have been removed after several earlier complaints ... it would seem. Does the union keep bad cops on too long? Good cops are not helped by this.

Posted by: illiniwek at June 10, 2020 06:34 PM (Cus5s)

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at June 10, 2020 06:37 PM (KZzsI)

181 I read about these two working together.
Theory behind the possible gotcha deal was this "club" is "reportedly" a front for both money-laundering and "possibly" human trafficking.
I think it is/was a strip club. Owned by a corp with a moose limb name (enter Somalia?). So patrons, reportedly, would present a $20 and receive fake $1 bills for strippers.
So the story goes, and I have no way to verify nor care...just putting it out there, the cop guy worked there for 17 yrs (off top of head for number). When ole St. G. was trying to pass a fake $20 bill at store, cop found out and wanted to shut down the fake money aspect of stellar club.
Of course there are the stories circulating, and one made some sense to me (later) that the cop's mug shot is not the same dude kneeling on neck. Others view the video photo by photo in slo mo and see the first set of Park Police arrest St. G. There were 2 people in car with him, a guy and woman..of which nothing was said. An expensive SUV. So they handcuff St. G and he is sitting calmly next to wall/corner of building. St. G. casually drops something out of hand and first cop picks it up and pockets (drugs? money? dildo?). Then second police car arrives and St. G. does not want to get in car with bad cop. They tussle, some think he was drugged then, and then history.
Some intrepid online sleuths show difference of profile of supposed mug shot of bad cop and an actor. It is true their ears are not the same...don't line up with eyes in profile, which cannot be faked.
Basically I have no idea if St. G is alive or basking in Aruba with payout. There is a lot of cuts in videos I have seen. Then! There is the twin story of St. G being already daid and his twin being him or some crap.
The story of them working together was out pretty quickly...which made it seem personal. Some said bad cop was saying, "So you think you are tough, eh" AND that his weight was not full force on knee that killed St. G. AND that the paramedics arrive and don't attempt to treat, just scoop and drive off.
All I know is I am tired of the kneeling and squealing and want to return to mocking Meghan Farkle.

Having said that... I give them a tiny microscopic speck of credit for chasing a story that doesn't entirely hew to the "George Floyd, American martyr" narrative. I bet there was a fight there just to run this.

But as I've said, I'm a Pollyanna. :-)

Hopefully Clint's son will follow in his footsteps and continue making films like Richard Jewell that help expose these assholes, Stalinists and phonies (BIRM).

It is not that I am willing to accept on someone else's word that Chauvin was a bad guy. It is that I saw what he did. Floyd's canonization is ridiculous. The fact that his death has been used as an excuse for revolution is treasonous and should be met with a military response. None of that excuses Chauvin.

I think Chauvin deliberately killed Floyd but I also think that the venue of this trial need s to be moved and that the prosecution better have some damn good evidence of premeditation since they are going with a charge of first degree murder. I do not think he should be convicted without that proof.

But they did, they went to question him, and when they asked him to step out of the car, he resisted, so they cuffed him.

At that point he was going to go downtown, and he knew it. He would have been booked, talked to a detective that probably would want him more to squeal or snitch on others, than actually try to prosecute a $20 counterfeit beef.

Except 6'4" 200+ pounds of George wouldn't get in the car. He resisted and started kicking the seats. They put him on the ground handcuffed, and on his stomach.

True. But we have been way, way misled before by the media. Their truth about Trayvon Martin - he was an innocent boy skipping home with a basket full of lollypops and Skittles for his younger brother during an NBA ad break. Zimmerman skulking in the bushes, kills him dead with his gun.Brown, the original Gentle Giant - Police, without cause, harass him. When he walks toward them in the middle of the street, hands up in surrender, they pop him anyway.

The media goes to enormous lengths to distort a story and twist facts into a narrative they want to tell.

There have been a series of reveals during the Trump years. Things that were suspected, but of whose true scale and rottenness, there was no inkling.

-Our principled, prominent conservatives who are are purely grifting for the money, and believe nothing, and have been so from the beginning.

-The Deep State's massive conversion of the government into a political weapon.

-Our elite bought and paid for by corporations and foreign nations.

Now, in the last couple of weeks, revealed is the utter pervasiveness of the national brainwashing program, its very high effectiveness, and the organized coordination of seditious action across the country from top to bottom, coast to coast, corporations, government, academia, sports, entertainment, media, street fighters and criminals, our own families.

So many are in on it. I don't recall any time when a delusion was this popular amongst the public, ever.

280 My part time gig for years was club security. (I stopped about 8 years ago) There are guys I remember and there are many, many more I couldn't pick out of a line up. This may surprise no one but club security gigs don't pull in the most punctual, so there is a lot of churn. I lasted about 12 years in that business so I had a good run and feel like a perspective. I'd never remember anyone working exclusivly outside, ever. I wouldn't excepct any of them to remember me.

This whole thing stinks on ice and I suspect it will never go to trial.

One, chauvin gets killed in prison before his trial date. I rate this as a very good probability,

Two, he goes to trial and it falls apart and he gets acquitted.

If number one happens, expect a huge payout to the family for a wrongful death lawsuit and riots.

If number two happens, expect riots.

It's a win win situation for the race mongers.

I had already heard this particular story awhile back and the previous shady history of that particular nightclub's previous owner which involved the federal alphabet agencies.

Nightclubs in major cities are often places where money is laundered, illegal drugs are sold, and escort services thrive.

Shut these places down during a COV19, perhaps things begin to happen when people used to a steady stream of cash/drugs/hookers lose it.

A very good friend from high school was a cop for over thirty years (retired as a detective and then took part-time work from his agency).

The criminal underclass is a thing. The criminal underclass crosses racial and national-origin lines. The criminal underclass also crosses socioeconomic strata.

A disgustingly large minority of people are born to be criminals. We focus on Kennedys since those are the ones that have been making the news with sexual assault, negligent homicide, and outright murder for the last half century, but there are thieves, druggies, and wifebeaters from families that gave them every opportunity to succeed.

My point is that criminals are criminals because they are criminals. When they meet an unfortunate end like George Floyd did and maybe Derek Chauvin will, allow yourself a little smile inside, knowing that justice was served to counterbalance when fucktards like Michael Skakel or Ted Kennedy manage to escape justice.

Take what you can get.

297 Ace, you evidently missed my post where I explained what happened in Floyd's death.

My credentials: 7th Degree black belt in Judo, 32 years as an instructor. My Sensei was a member of the Black Belt Hall of Fame and the first American Judoka awarded a 10th degree Black Belt while still alive. He taught us the very highest level of technical Judo, to the point that the Japanese asked him to come back to Japan to re-teach the Judo they had lost over the years.

The choke in question was a carotid sinus choke. It works by putting pressure on one side of the neck that causes the autonomic nervous system to think that blood pressure has spiked. The nervous system slows down the heart to lower the blood pressure, and the person passes out. If you keep that choke on for almost 9 minutes you will kill a significant percentage of the people you do that to, as the heart will slow down so much it will lose its ability to beat rhythmically.

This can easily be misdiagnosed as a heart attack. As my Doctor said when we talked about this yesterday:"We all die of heart attacks when our heart stops beating."

324 One thing I wish we could hear more about is that this technique of using the knee/leg to the side of the neck to restrain a suspect or whatever has been used over 200 times in Minneapolis since 2015. I read about it in an article linked from this site sometime last week, I think. It said 3/5 of the people that it was used on were black, and 30% were white. About 44 suspects lost consciousness from it.

So, I'd be curious to know if Chauvin has used this technique before and if so why. He seemed pretty comfortable with it.

Plus, if you listen to the 911 tapes and see Floyd before they try to get him in the car, it's clear that he was having some issues, possibly from the drugs. Did they put him on the ground to try to keep him calm until the medics arrived? Seems far fetched, but then I remember reading how doctors said COVID patients should be placed on their stomachs because it helps them breathe better because here's less pressure on the lungs.

I don't know the law, but it doesn't seem like a clear cut case of murder to me. Like Ace said, is he really going to just murder someone when he knows people are recording.

ace, if you read your own blog you'd know a few commenters have already delivered the definitive forensics on this, in fact MN will probably forego a trial and just issue a verdict based on this analysis.

Second, a few experienced prosecutors were taken aback by the Ellison stung to up the charge, and said even the original charge was not a slam dunk for conviction. But they're just speaking from years of direct experience with the subject.

Finally, remember what the DA said, when after an eternity (2 days?) he *finally* made a decision to prosecute? He specifically said that there was evidence complicating a murder charge. Now, the DA only has all of the evidence, not just a short video clip, and he's only a DA, so yeah it's hard to take him seriously against some AOSHQ commenters, but he did say it.

Add in the coronary artery disease and you have 3 co-morbidity factors. The average person dies after 11 minutes of having that choke applied. One person in a million will die after only a few seconds of that choke. There is a skewed bell shaped curve for the amount of time it takes the choke to kill; almost everyone is dead by 11 and a half minutes.

The Japanese learned that time in their studies of Chinese prisoners they killed with it during WWII.

Sadly, almost zero. Everyone has seen the video, so they probably cannot find a truly impartial jury anywhere in the country.

First thing the defense does is file a motion for change of venue. If it is granted (big if) then they move it some other part of the state. Then 3 things happen

1. Left/media/BLM complains location moved to is "too white"

2. Left/media/BLM swoopes into said location and does what they normally do and

3. Said county looks for way to take a pass.....on grounds they do not have the funds to provide security.

That is not even a little bit true. A statue that was toppled in Richmond last week was of Williams Carter Wickham. He was elected by Henrico County to represent them in the state convention on secession. He was a Unionist and voted no. Nonetheless, he served with honor as a general in the Confederate Army because Virginia was his home and he would defend it. After the war he, he was elected as a Republican to the General Assembly.

He retired from the navy as a senior cpo, and knows how to work the dumbass 03 LT supervisors. His two levels up supervisor had to roll him off to another retired navy supervisor (this guy was a missile mechanic on boomers, so common sense). My coworker is playing the military veteran age discrimination card on the company. Told them his generation believes that everyone is co-equal, and his military experience as a leader makes the company's push for this shit come across as offensive and belittling. Dude has patents out the ass for using cooperative doppler signals from satellites to improve radar sensor accuracy and he threatened to take his skill set to our competitors if the company persisted in this,

Now he's typed up the boomer missile mechanic's response for their one-on-one meeting tomorrow for him so he won't have to.

I asked him if I could come and eat popcorn and watch. He burst a gut laughing.

Gawd, I love a senior chief petty officer playing the LT like a violin.

More to come tomorrow.

430 And kneeling on his neck was necessary how? Given that the video we've seen has shown zero resistance or trouble?
_________________

I wasn't talking about the neck restraint. That does not appear to have been necessary. I was just saying that, based on his comments at the time, Chauvin seemed to think that keeping Floyd on his stomach was the proper procedure for a suspect exhibiting signs of excited delirium.

Some doctors have said that that position was dangerous because it made it more difficult for Floyd to breathe.

I don't know who is right here in terms of the medical science, and I suspect we'll hear conflicting medical expert testimony on this at the trial.

432 James Gould Cozzens is still talking about trials. It's perfectly sensible to put the State to its proof there.

But we have to remember that trials don't really decide between innocence and guilt. Jurors have two options: guilty, not guilty. They might choose the latter because they believe the defendant is guilty, or because the State's proof is inadequate (whatever they think about the defendant's guilt), or as an act of nullification even though they think the defendant is guilty.

Formal rules of evidence may bar proof that is quite damning but nonetheless inadmissible.

Trial judges don't always get things right in terms of their legal rulings.

Jurors make mistakes.

There's no particular reason to think that trials give us the truth, and we sometimes think they don't in particular cases. We just don't happen to have a better way of doing things. And fortunately for us, most criminal cases are relatively straightforward so the failings of the justice system tend to be less of a problem than they could be.

My point is: for these and a variety of other reasons, we are free to and often do make assessments about guilt and innocence before trial or even despite a contrary outcome in a trial.

It's not like a trial is going to be especially illuminating to the general public anyway unless you follow it in excruciating detail. We won't be there to see the full witness testimony firsthand; we won't review all the evidence; and will largely depend on reports from a media that is incompetent and untrustworthy.

well I don't. I know a bit about the war too so take it easy. Most of my study was about battles and leaders. I don't recall a lot of Republican CSA Generals. But if you want to enlighten us, fine. But I would not be so dismissive about things. I do know that Longstreet became a Republican AFTER the war. But my point was about statues and it was a shot at Dems. I think most got it.

Something about the CBS video (at the link) bothers me.

When Jeff Pegues (CBS Minn?) interviews David Pinney (bar employee), I get the feeling that the video has been edited, and more than just a little.

The lighting, audio and ambiance of the segments of Pinney seem to not quite match those of Pegues, yet the implication is that they are in the same room.

Pinney is clearly looking across to an interviewer, as is typical of face-to-face interviews, yet Pegues seems to be looking and focusing down at something, rather than across to Pinney.

It feels like the Pegues question video segments are edited into a previous interview of Pinney; Pinney is answering questions .. clearly from someone ... is it Pegues? If not, are they the exactly, word-for-word, nuance-for-nuance, ones that Pegues asks?

Further, the video does a lot of talking FOR others. Near the end, we see a female, implicitly the bar owner, walking outside with Pegues ... but no direct audio, only Pegues' voice-over. Why? We see her face, why not get her comments on video?

Maybe it's just me, but this feels wrong, and it's not like this hasn't happened before.

Posted by: Quint at June 10, 2020 07:35 PM (hHxp2)

It really wasn't. If you insist on there being a "THE CAUSE" it was the ruinous tariffs, imposed by Northern states with larger populations and more representation in the Congress, that had the South paying over 90% of all taxes taken in by the US government. The schism between Abolitionists and Anti-Abolitionists certainly played a role but it strains credulity to say that slavery caused the war when only a small proportion of the population in the South owned slaves.

PELOSI: "Monuments to men who advocated cruelty and barbarism to
achieve such a plainly racist end are a grotesque affront to these
ideals. Their statues pay homage to hate, not heritage. They must be
removed."

Because they have no shame, and no limits on how much collateral destruction they will do to the country and our history, they will keep trashing every historical figure and institution in the country until DJT, out of basic decency and respect for Americans will ultimately object. Then they can say: "See that racist pro-Confederate!"

454 Did they bury St George or are they pushing on to Atlanta?

Posted by: jsg at June 10, 2020 09:34 PM (4RcmR)

455 Apparently the Minneapolis PD had a protocol for neck compression restraint, used on resisting prisoners, that's designed to make the person weaken and/or faint. Chauvin was applying this method pretty much by the book, and probably thought Floyd had passed out, not DIED.

It involves compressing the carotid arteries from either side (not the windpipe) to reduce blood flow to the brain. Not enough to kill.

The other data point is that Floyd was in the car, then got out of the car and was apparently struggling with the cops, and exclaiming "I can't breathe" even Before he was taken to the ground.
But no matter: the Left will lynch the policeman anyway. And anyone else they can get their hooks into.

457 Why (and how) would three cops call an ambulance and EMT personnel to treat a perp exhibiting "excited delirium, or whatever," and then while they were waiting for the ambulance to show up, conspire non-verbally to kill the guy? In broad daylight, at a busy Minneapolis intersection, while being video recorded by a pedestrian, and observed by a fourth cop?

Posted by: mGrant at June 11, 2020 01:13 PM (r5iyh)

459 from my experience you are right Ace, there's no way you'd actually stop breathing from the back of the neck. You'd need to stop it from the center front. With blood flow you need to cut off blood in both sides of the neck, unless perhaps they have a blockage or some abnormality on one side.

My guess is he had a panic/heart attack from the situation and the drugs in his system. I also don't really believe any finding from Michael Baden, who says whatever he's paid to find in 99.9% of his cases.

I'd say where Chauvin can be charged with murder is from not relenting after the other officer said there was no pulse.

As for their relationship, if they did know each other and had previous issues, then that should have been relayed on day 1. I'm guessing people (the media) knew but stayed quiet because that didn't help their story and they wanted to see protests and riots because it's ratings gold.

They've also all yet to mention why a group of 4 cops went to deal with a guy passing a fake $20, when they probably ignore homicides in that neighborhood. What did the 911 call say and what else aren't we being told?
