I'm not sure what the point of this piece is supposed to be. Mocking? Cutesy? It reminds me a bit of some of those stylized advertising posters from the early 1900s for French or Italian products. It could also be the cover for a collection of Addams Family cartoons.

Just a cursory look and I'd say this shows some mastery of the techniques of painting, but lacking much comprehension of composition.
Goth girl looks stoned and about to fall over. Lady in red looks like a badly-position marionette and where's her light coming from? Is this all just to frame the couple on the bridge? And, as TJM said, flat. Also oddly busy without saying much. But wadooiknow, I are just a amateur cartoonerist, not a real artist. I might not be able to paint this well, but I'd like to have the time and tools to try! ![]()

And the huge payoff to Iran made by Obama always looms large - Flynn opposed it, iirc. Obama and his people (especially Valerie Jarrett, who curiously was born in Iran) were desperate to see Iran succeed over Israel.
Going after israel, interfering in their election, giving iran billions, supporting the Muslim brotherhood, dicking israel appears to have been goal #1 for the Obamagaters. The question is why do people conform? Posted by: SH at May 14, 2020 10:12 AM (sX1BW) Ostensibly in Lawrence MA, you will be fined $300 dollars if caught outside without a mask. However, since the majority of the city is illegal, I can't imagine very many people are actually going to pay or be prosecuted for not paying. As to why conform? Probably because (at least in MA) every store now says you cannot enter without a mask and it will take too much time to file a legal complaint. Also, it being MA, there aren't enough people who are willing to gather at a supermarket or other shop en masse, say "fuck you" and swamp the place. "As I pointed out above, not necessarily. There could have been a dozen CAC's with her name on them, passed out like party favors to Special Friends. with the password 123456."
You can't duplicate a CAC. Setting one up is pretty complicated to begin with. The whole point of the CAC is that it uniquely identifies the person using the computer and you can't claim it was someone else. It uses a unique public/private key pair loaded onto the card itself, and they can't be duplicated or reused. So Powers either did the unmasking or allowed others to use her card AND passcode to unlock the CAC. There is no technical scenario where that unique CAC was not used in this process. For comic relief, here's an update on Huerfano County in Colorado, which has put a "required to wear masks when out of their homes" public health order in place, far exceeding the statewide order. The county has had a total of three new cases (none in the last month), and zero deaths from the COVID.
Here's the update: The population density of the county is less than 5 people per square mile, or for social distancing purposes one person for every 146 acres. That's one person for every 146 acres! imo it is not axiomatic that ChinaVirus deaths will spike after each stage of opening ... because the decline is in motion, many already exposed (especially nursing homes and crowded places), weather is warmer (likely a factor) -- AND people are more aware and cautious.
AND not everyone will jam back into crowded spaces ... if they never shut down subways in the hottest of hot spots, how can they claim the right by XO to destroy a business and quarantine whole states? The Wisconsin court decision indicates such powers are not universal, and cannot be "arbitrary and capricious" (as they seem to be). We need more decisions like Wisconsin, and I guess Trump is stuck with being a cheerleader for opening. Real Stats are also needed, not just the Gates/Fauci/Birx contrived global warming style models (all fake with a political/globalist agenda). Posted by: illiniwek at May 14, 2020 11:00 AM (Cus5s) 506

Most annoying thing I ever got stuck in my finger was one of those tiny, invisible hairs on some cacti - I think they're called glochids? It's not that it hurt, but I got it on day one of a 5-day desert backpacking trip and the damn thing bugged me for 5 days. I made about a million attempts with my first-aid kit tweezers and learned a lesson - never skimp on your first aid kit tweezers. The crappy plastic one that came with the kit was useless. Soon as we came out of the desert and got a motel room, I hightailed it to the store for a metal tweezer and got the damn thing out.

Does anyone else feel that they are going slowly mad and it would be better just to end it now? Or, alternatively, that they are the only sane person in a world full of FUCKING LUNATICS and it would be better to end it now?

I've quit going for walks on the paths around here. The snakes are really, really out. Someone on Nextdoor said he saw a rattlesnake as thick as a man's arm on one of the paths I walk. And people are reporting their dogs being bitten by copperheads. Posted by: Jane D'oh at May 14, 2020 11:01 AM (ptqGC) Snakes fascinate me. Our area (SC) has copperheads but I've not seen one myself. I see black racers and rat snakes mostly. Posted by: Dan Smoot's Apprentice at May 14, 2020 11:08 AM (H8QX8) 539
Garrett. Man up, take your pocket knife and dig the splinter out from under the nail. Then soak in epsom salt solution as much as possible.
For splinters or irritated scratches not under a nail I go against doc wisdom and use bag balm with a bandage to draw out the splinter and infection. Maybe the doc that told me 'no ointment' was only talking about when stitches had been put in anyway. Posted by: PaleRider is simply irredeemable at May 14, 2020 11:08 AM (T9Hmo) 540
