I think the White House needs to do a series of video series.
Series 1: The Timeline. Lay out when things happened. (The FBI knew about the Steele memos (if not the full dossier) at A, opened informal investigations at B, opened formal investigations at C, framed Papadopolous at D, framed Flynn at E, etc., etc., etc.)

I did like the part where part of his plea deal was to testify against his partner and his story changed a bit from previous FBI interviews where they didn't even call him as a witness. There is SCOTUS precedent that, IIRC, says the FedGov does have an interest in how elections are held. The States do not necessarily have a blank check on how they conduct federal elections.

There was certainly all sorts of collusion and illicit use of Federal Resources here. I think that blows the Immunity of the Sovereign completely out of the water.

Simply put, no one has been indicted. The prime person for Contempt of Court is Van Grack...who has been removed from all his cases. Or was he? I tend to think he pulled himself from the cases, will submit his resignation shortly, and find a nice comfy chair over at Lawfare....who will defend him vigorously to specifically avoid any conviction. Plus, the Judge (Sullivan) would have to pursue the Contempt case. And, I think he's as bad as the rest of them.

If I may suggest a Constitutional Amendment:
All votes for elections for federal office must be cast in person on the day of the election with photo ID demonstrating the identity of the voter. All members of the U.S. military are to be assigned to precincts at their base of residence, or last U.S. base of residence if abroad, with such precincts to be considered to exist with them whereever assigned.
(Effectively mail in voting for abroad service personnel only, and when possible run as a precinct would be here, but on ship or whatnot).
Any state failing to maintain this standard forfeits congressional and electoral college representation.

His underlings a few layers down in the bureaucracy acted in the spirit of what he would have wanted. I'm certain Lois Lerner had no guidance to do what she did. She just did her duty as she saw it. Same with many of the people involved here. Which leads to . . . .
2. As I've posted many times, there had to have been hundreds of people involved in the domestic surveillance operation. Agents, analysts, technicians, translators, supervisors, clerical and support staff.
I put them in four groups: 1. The true conspirators, who knew the Russia hoax was bogus, but pursued it for political purposes; 2. The easily convinced, who believed it because they were predisposed to believe it; 3. The overly trusting, who believed it because their chain of command told them it was true, and they were not in the habit of asking too many questions; and 4. The careerists, who knew it was BS, but went along with it anyway because Hillary was going to win and no one wanted to be known not to be a team player.

If you can stand on line at a Costco for six hours to get a case of TP for your house in the middle of a pandemic, you can stand in line with a valid photo ID to vote in a Presidential election once very four years.

If Donald Trump's people were to do these things that Obama's did, I would personally demand his immediate hanging. I expect that AT LEAST two-thirds of Republicans and righty independents - conservatives, libertarians, Constitutionalists, populists, even the most pragmatic in these factions - would join me.

I saw this this morning, and I'll mention it again. The Imperial College was shamed into releasing Neil Ferguson's WuFlu model code. It's on Github now, which a search will find if interested.
Now, this is not the original code -- they hired a team of Microsoft engineers to clean it up and make it presentable. The original is such a mess -- one single source file of 15K lines.
The MS people cleaned that up into something more professional looking. But the cosmetics aside, it's nothing but shit. Utter and complete crap and Linus Torvalds would say.
It is non-deterministic. The exact same input will produce different output. They gloss this over with a "well, it's a stochastic model". Bullshit. Any stochastic model will do random shit, but it should produce the same output for a given seed. You vary that, of course.
But this thing doesn't. It's complete and utter crap.
