Epoch Times: CIA Inspector General Is Sitting On a Report That the IC Wanted to Conclude That Vladimir Putin Favored Hillary Clinton in 2016, But John Brennan Overruled Them

The claim that "Putin wanted Trump" was absolutely fundamental and central to their coup effort -- and it was all a lie concocted by former (?) Communist Brennan.

A lot of people need to go to jail.

The CIA Inspector General has taken more than a year to clear the release of a House Intelligence Committee report which contradicts the key conclusion of the intelligence community assessment on Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to the former chief of staff of the National Security Council.
The January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), prepared at the behest of President Barack Obama, claimed that Russia interfered in the presidential election in order to help candidate Donald Trump. The House Intelligence Committee's public report (pdf) on Russia had already challenged the analytic tradecraft behind this central claim and suggested that the process of arriving at the assessment was not free of political interference.
A separate, classified report holed up at the office of the CIA Inspector General (IG) sheds damning light on the role then-CIA Director John Brennan played in the preparation of the report, former National Security Council Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz learned from House Intelligence Committee staff. A source familiar with the report's fate would not deny that the report went to the office of the CIA IG.
The report states that Brennan overruled agency analysts who wanted to include strong intelligence in the assessment to show that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted Hillary Clinton to win the election, Fleitz says, citing conversations with House Intelligence Committee staffers. Brennan had also rejected analysts who wanted to strike weak intelligence from the report which suggested that Russia favored Trump, Fleitz said.
"So Brennan actually slanted this analysis, choosing anti-Trump intelligence and excluding anti-Clinton intelligence," Fleitz told The Epoch Times.

I'm not. Some crimes are such an egregious breach of trust that the criminal can never be trusted again. There is no reasonable hope of recovery. The best thing for society is to end them humanely.

The system needs to be accountable, though. If someone is erroneously put to death, the compensation should come from the pockets of the investigators and prosecutor, not the taxpayer.

That would ensure diligence like no other method.

No, they aren't - at least not exactly.

They are Chinese, and a Chinese organization. Nationalist, not communist Chinese. Some of their founders were KMT/GMD and fled to Taiwan when Mao won the Chinese civil war.

Their HQ is in Taiwan, and there are major press operations in Taiwan and Hong Kong and what appears to be a sizable network on the mainland.

They are openly and aggressively anticommunist and hate the CCP. Their reporting on the CCP is fairly exhaustive and extremely oppositional. On China affairs, they are probably the most trustworthy news source. They are biased AF but have extensive reporting and resource networks on the mainland.

As to the Falun Gong piece, it is a bit more ambiguous. It is certainly an FG-friendly paper, and some of their executives are probably Falun Gong. As an organization, though, the Epoch Times is not FG-affiliated. They have a fair amount of sympathetic reportage about the Falung Gong, but it is mostly in the context of the core anticommunist mission - as in, it is more "this what the CCP does to the oppressed Falun Gong" and less about the Falun Gong itself. It isn't officially an FG paper, but there are definitely sympathies there.

In the short time Grenell has been acting DNI he has released a lot of stuff, I don't think he is being hindered in any way.

Ratcliffe will do a good job based on what he was doing in the House but it doesn't seem like there would be any big benefit to holding his nomination.

This past Friday, a security guard working at a Family Dollar store in Flint Michigan told a woman entering the store that her daughter needed to wear a mask to be in the store. ( store policy after order went out from Whitmer last week about wearing masks in public. )
Woman got really pissed off and she and daughter left store, Came back twenty minutes later with her husband and some young guy. Husband went up to security guard, yelling about "disrespecting" his wife, then young guy walked up and shot security guard in the head . He died at the hospital.

Woman is in custody, the husband and shooter are at large. First degree murder charges have been filed on all three.

I just checked the IRS web site and if he was claimed as a dependent on my 2019 taxes he is not entitled to get it. Likewise because he is over 17 I didn't get the $500 child credit.

And the Grand Cherokee created another new market segment - the luxury SUV - though it came out post-takeover (and was one of the big reasons that Chrysler wanted AMC).

567 I have been saying for several years now that the "Putin wanted Trump" argument went against logic, did not pass the smell test, did not pass Occam's Razor. Like Russia was "scared" of Hillary and would rather have Trump as president - a wild card.

Even though Hillary/ Obama:
-Went around the world apologizing for the US.
-Unilaterally lifted the sanctions on Russia put in place by Bush for invading Georgia
-Unilaterally removed missiles from our Eastern European allies (with zero discussion with our allies) because Russia hated them
-Bill Clinton then did a series of speeches for Russian interests - direct bag men for Putin- at inflated rates of $500-$750K per speech. (Anyone that is subjected to conflict of interest laws know that money coming to a spouse is exactly the same as money coming to the person). So Russia had leverage over the Clintons.
-Uranium One and donation to the Clinton fund of $145MM by the parties involved
-The childish, naive, overly effusive "Reset" button incident, telling Putin just how weak they were
-Allowing Russia to invade the Ukraine - without saying anything
allowing Russia to shoot down a civilian airliner - with no consequences, and no harsh words to Russia, actually going along and helping them to get away with their "we know nothing" schtick.
-Not releasing military aid funds that Congress voted and then ordered them to deliver, instead delivering MRE's.
-Inviting Russia into Syria with the redline fiasco.
-Obama's quid pro quo with Putin - "lay low and help me get reelected and I will be more flexible to deliver favors to you"

And many more.

And we are supposed to believe that Russia wanted Trump as president and were "scared" of Hillary?
