Joe DiGenova: FBI General Counsel James Baker Has "Flipped" and There's A Mole Inside the FBI
UPDATE: MORE DAMNING RECORDS RELEASED

Joe DiGenova's track record isn't great, but he's definitely got my attention.

This doesn't seem to be something he's been told by a source, but rather something he deduces from articles in The Federalist.

DiGenova told Carr there is now a mole inside the FBI "who is leaking to the press about the current conduct of FBI Director Christopher Wray and his general counsel, Dana Boente.

"What's very clear is according to two stories, one in The Federalist and one in The Daily Caller, diGenova said, "is someone inside the FBI is now whistleblowing by leaking to the press about what’s going on and boy, it is just fascinating to watch the claim that Chris Wray and Dana Boente did everything they could to prevent the stuff from the Missouri U.S. attorney from being given to Flynn’s attorney. That is the beginning of a very ugly story."

They discussed the nature of the documents which had been turned over to Sidney Powell last Friday, which we heard about last night. But diGenova said something I had not heard before. He said that Jeff Sessions was talked into recusing himself from the Trump/Russia collusion case by Dana Boente who was then-Acting Deputy Attorney General.

...

Later in their discussion, diGenova asked Carr, "You know Baker is now cooperating with Durham?" (James Baker the former FBI General Counsel.)

Carr replied, "He's flipped?"

And diGenova responded, "Who was a target, is now understandably cooperating because he was looking at a boatload of criminal charges. Once these notes were discovered, and by the way, these were the notes that [FBI Director] Chris Wray and Dana Boente did not want turned over to General Flynn."

More at the link, including audio of the interview.

MORE: TracyBeanz is posting the newly released documents.

It is well known and documented who was in the "committee" that advised Sessions on recusal. Do I remember if Baker was a member, or where to get those details? Nope.

It is also known that Baker has moved on to be active with, for lack of a better term, "resistance" outfits, people who openly support lawlessness in pursuit of whatever dumb authoritarian goals they have (in effect).

Do I recall which groups?

Nope.

You're welcome!

FBI Washington Field Office Report:

FBI and US Govt (CIA?) databases showed "no derogatory information" on Flynn.

Flynn determined to be "no longer a viable candidate" as part of the Crossfire Hurricane case.

Peter Strzok texts to the FBI Case Manager handling the Crossfire Razor (Flynn) case.

Strzok: "If you haven't closed RAZOR, don't do so yet"

It's a brief little account, that lays out all the key players, and their connections to everyone else. A regular rogue's gallery of leftists of various types, with the commies being MUCH more prominent than anyone had been led to believe.

Barack Obama and his other henchmen were actively involved in this, perhaps their bravado is based on the assumption that if Barr goes after them then they finger Obama and then Barr has to have the stones to take down the former president.

113 In recent months, a certain narrative has taken hold in the GOP that former Trump national-security adviser Michael Flynn is a victim of FBI perfidy. The real outrage isnt that he lied to the FBI something hes confessed to, by the way but rather the way in which the FBI approached him and the manner of its interrogation.

He is not, however, a victim of federal law enforcement. He is a man who did wrong and is now paying his debt to society. Thats not exploitation. Its justice.

I can easily believe that the FBI blackmailed Mittens to throw the primary, and to turn on Trump.

But given that Mitt's been essentially running for President for about 30 years, I think it's even more plausible that he's a backstabbing little bitch who was born with a silver spoon shoved up his ass and expected to have the office handed to him with angels singing and the Marine Corps Band playing Stars and Stripes Forever. And when he didn't get it, he decided to piss on the birthday cake.

163 Of course I have absolutely no faith whatsoever that there's any trace of anything resembling actual "justice" in our so-called "justice system". And don't fool yourself into thinking this is maybe a recent thing. It's not. This is the way "law enforcement" works in this country: our government deliberately frames people. They lie to grand juries. They lie to courts. They lie to the people they've sworn to protect and pat themselves on the back for doing so. And this isn't just "a few bad apples" and this definitely isn't just the FBI. This is their Standard Operating Procedure.

I hope The Right finally starts waking up to the stark reality that agents of The Police State are not friends and certainly don't deserve the nearly reflexive and unthinking support they get all the time.

Make the new organization separate regional agencies, and do not allow any regional HQ to be within 300 miles of Washington DC.

Make it like 6-12 separate regional organizations, and make DC a region that is policed by all the other regions, with no permanent DC staff.

The FBI has too much power, and must be cut down to size. Assign them to a national task, like policing Indian Reservations. Supposedly 5,000 Native American women and children disappeared every year. That would be a noble task for the emasculated FBI to pursue.

DOJ knew as well, as they had access to all this crap.

Yet Barr CONTINUED to Prosecute? When he could have stopped the destruction of Gen. Flynn with a PHONE CALL?

You all do know that Flynn is STILL paying massive Legal Bills? That the ONLY way he will be made financially whole is with a major Lawsuit? Which means of course, the only winners will be the Lawyers, and the real losers will be the American Taxpayer?

I can easily believe that the FBI blackmailed Mittens to throw the primary, and to turn on Trump.

But given that Mitt's been essentially running for President for about 30 years, I think it's even more plausible that he's a backstabbing little bitch who was born with a silver spoon shoved up his ass and expected to have the office handed to him with angels singing and the Marine Corps Band playing Stars and Stripes Forever. And when he didn't get it, he decided to piss on the birthday cake.
Posted by: IllTemperedCur at April 30, 2020 02:09 PM (EGyG

Yeah, I'd be open to information otherwise, but the impression I have of Mitt is that he really thought he was going to be anointed in 2012, and he was shocked when he wasn't. And after that, he's been resigned to going back to what he does best... gathering filthy lucre he doesn't really earn, and doing so with as much bowing and scraping as he needs before the Chinese and other globalist industrial complexes.

His hatred of Trump is due to Trump basically saying the Mitt Romney types, "yeah F that, we're going to put the American people first."

I believe it's that simple.

Maybe because the people in the FBI that are putting these cases together don't operate like the Democrat Cops they are investigating? Notice how anything damaging to Republicans is leaked immediately? Maybe our side mostly shuts up and does its job.

Maybe it is being leaked, but the stories are being quashed, except for people like DeGenova, Herridge, and the few others?

But yes, I would expect Democrats to be squealing like stuck pigs if they were actually ever hauled before grand juries...

As the Empress said on the Twatters, raise your hand if you're somewhat alarmed that they weren't already cleaning the subways at least once a day. I mean, that seems like the minimal effort for any kind of mass transit.

Posted by: Ian S. at April 30, 2020 02:25 PM (ZGrMX)

257 The Deep State began surfacing and using less cover around about the time of Clinton.

And that includes the years of Bush II also. His Daddy was a charter member of the Deep State. He still retained some of the pre-WWII morality but the OSS and it's progeny the CIA took the attitude that anything they did that protected the USA was good for the USA.

If sometimes they had to protect a few bad guys to do that, well that's the cost of doing business.

But soon they were protecting more bad guys than necessarily protecting the USA.

The FBI has always been a BlackMail organization. J. Edgar made it that way to keep himself in power and the FBI in control.

The DOJ was more or less the prosecutorial arm of the FBI. There to aid and abet whatever the FBI was up to and the CIA when they began dipping their toes in the country's politics.

As they got away with this more and more they realized the power they had. Most cops finally come to this conclusion at one point in their careers: the best job to have as a criminal is to be a COP. They make more money and can usually stay out of jail.

And thus we have what we have and without a thorough cleaning it will remain so. No matter what they try to tell us.

This is why the founders really thought we'd have more revolutions than we've had. They expected we'd be throwing out the scoundrels more often.

And without the Civil War we probably would've. But that lesson burned deep and that revolution (which is really what the Civil War was) is bloody and expensive.

And of course steps were taken to prevent it ever happening again. And the financial controls turned over to the Gov't. And that's all she wrote for a dynamic and ever cleansing Government by the People and FOR the People.

281 2 So basically Jeff Sessions has a weak mind.

I personally know an FBI analyst who was tasked with bringing Sessions up to speed when he came on board. There was nothing but loathing for him. Most of the top FBI agents/directors are career spooks, working their way up over their career (with the obvious exception of the politically appointed Director of course). They all saw Sessions as a career politician who had no knowledge of the Intelligence Community or how it works. Neither experience, nor the intelligence to grasp what they were trying to teach him to be able to do his job. He was mentally Play Dough with dozens of people all trying to forward their own objectives/funding and no defenses in the process. Even the people who got what they wanted had nothing but contempt for him. In short order, even he knew he was over his head and wanted out.

But in this case, the whole tree is corrupt. They aren't cutting it down.

I'm just afraid this all amounts to nothing and we're left with impotent rage once again.

324 personally know an FBI analyst who was tasked with bringing Sessions up to speed when he came on board.

Um, this is the story of every political appointee ever.

The "WeBes" (We be here before they came and we be here after they leave) ALL tolerate, at best, the political appointees. At worst, the undermine and trick them.

Not a bad idea.

When I think about this, a question comes to my mind: Of all the high profile Washingtonians in the past, say, 30 years who have been charged and convicted of crimes, how many of them have been for some crime OTHER than somehow being dishonest to investigators?

Where are all the bribery charges? The sex crimes? The drug charges? Has anyone OTHER than D'nesh D'Sousa been convicted of a campaign finance charge?

Are we saying nobody is doing these things? Are the Washingtonians clean??

Or is this an indication of who holds the real power in Washington? Seems to me, the gravest thing you can do is appear to lie to them. And if nobody is being charged with any of these other types of crimes? Seems like a good a way as any to keep control of the people who are getting caught.

I think there is a good reason for it. As IE starts to become more and more disused, there will be fewer exploits created against it.

Edge means that there are only two basic architectures of browser out there. Chromium-based, which Edge is (and Chrome and Vivaldi, and recently Opera) and Mozilla (Firefox, Pale Moon, Waterfox, ...)

There are only two architectures you have to program to hack.

There used to be a time when Chrome, Firefox and Linux claimed to be not hackable. Then they got used more, and became more important targets.

If its any consolation, the Q people have said from the start that there will be no plea deals. Take that as you will

389 Mindful,

I grew up in OKC and my grandfather worked at Tinker. I can remember B-52s flying overhead. And there was an interesting sonic boom study for awhile.

As a practical matter, you can't do anything to Obama or nearly every black person in the country will riot.

Hillz is fair game though.

And their riots will hurt us how?

Posted by: Someguy at April 30, 2020 02:49 PM (Zm+LZ)

391 There are two factoids already established that make Obama's knowledge (and thus, approval) of the whole thing undeniable. One text message, and one briefing of the president's CoS by a senior DOJ or FBI (forget which) official. Those have been known since, I think, the first IG report ("Mid-Year Exam") that unearthed the Strzok-Page texts.

And there's the kicker, that one has to accept that the DOJ/FBI/IC were pulling the first de facto coup in our history, and the president at the time didn't know anything about it, for Obama to have been in the dark.

Or, there is the weaselish and stupid dodge - which is about at the level of most Beltway types today - that Obama thought it was a legit search for RUSSIA! interference. Yeah, right.

395 Funny, and sad. Local San Diego politicos (all of them as pathetic as you'd expect, but especially the GOP types) begging Newsom to not close our beaches.

Because, you see, "daddy, we've been good! really! let us play in the canyon until dinner!".

What is missing in every part of this, on all sides?

Science.

In this case, both common sense and the lack of any empirical data obviously point to there being near zero risk of transmission out in the breezy open air of a beach.

But just to remind everyone what a dumbed-down populace and pathetic political class CA has, the governor's recent announcements literally capitalized the word SCIENCE in the text - like some 12-yr old fulminating on social media. No exclamation points, but still.

When, of course, there isn't a hint of science of any kind, not only in the beach closure idea, but in the entire post-mitigation plan. "Flattening the curve" may/may not have worked, in any case medical overload was averted. But there's no scientific or public health rationale to the phased re-opening, and no attempt to explain how this viral epidemic would somehow magically not follow the path that all others do.

397 Faraday phone cases and an electronic box sitting at home that mimics your phone's ping.

I thought about that Faraday case thing, but apparently, and I did not know this, it only works to block the signals to phones coming IN, not so much going out.

Also, it's not 100%, supposedly.

OT: Made a run to the PA State Store a while ago.
Call order in, they call back, get your CC # then call again when the order is ready.

Jim Beam for me and Bailey's Irish Cream for Scottish Kate.

I'm getting the feeling that the stay at home order around here is slowly crumbling. More and more cars out each day.

402 The next
time FBI Director Wray is up on the Hill, he should be read the riot
act, saying that he can either resign or the next time the Hill finds
something, anything redacted or withheld purely to cover for the
mistakes of the FBI, he will be referred to the House for impeachment.
