In interviews with The Intercept, Reade also mentioned that her mother had made a phone call to "Larry King Live" on CNN, during which she made reference to her daughter's experience on Capitol Hill... Reade couldn’t remember the date or the year of the phone call, and King didn't include the names of callers on his show. I was unable to find the call, but mentioned it in an interview with Katie Halper, the podcast host who first aired Reade’s allegation. After the podcast aired, a listener managed to find the call and sent it to The Intercept. ... Here is the transcript of the beginning of the call:This is a ton more than Christine Blowsey Ford ever produced. How great is it that CNN has the recording of the call? Odds that CNN will ever find the recording? Zero. They'll send it along to Hillary and Christopher Steele to be wiped. Grappling: The media has coordinated to produce a unified response to questions as to why they're not reporting on this story: They're too busy "grappling" with the story to cover it.... There are several notable things about the emergence of the call. On the one hand, the caller does not specifically mention "sexual harassment" or retaliation, as Reade had recalled. On the other hand, the reference to being unable to "get through with her problems" aligns with Reade’s claim that she complained to superiors in Biden's office and got nowhere, and the reference to going to the press makes clear that the caller is talking about more than just generic problems at the office. The problems, she makes clear, would damage the senator if exposed.

It'll surprise no one here that Sweden is doing better than the US from day zero (first death). Sweden is about twenty days behind the US but will certainly flat line sooner than the US. So they are doing a little better.
Mexico is about as good as Sweden. I'm not sure of their response to the virus but I suspect it doesn't matter much what the government there says, Mexicans will do what they want to do.
Ultimately there really isn't much difference in the curves so there doesn't appear to be much impact from the various government responses.
All the social distancing and lockdowns appear all for nothing.

Women do this crap all the time. I do not understand it but many times I hear about women who do not want to go public because they do not want the massive reaction, but they do want the act acknowledged, and punished to some extent.
I think a lot of it is a self defense mechanism - if they play it down as not too big a deal, it also means it is less harmful to themselves. Also, they just want to be believed and fear a hesaid-shesaid issue where she risks being ostracized if she went forward. This #metoo BS has a lot or reality behind it, but the solution is not "believe all women", but that all women should learn to stand up for themselves and defend themselves (or avoid situations where they are indefensible, like alone with a male.)
Also on the left many people seem to think the politics are bigger, more important, than the problems of two people.

As a woman, I can imagine why a woman might not immediately report sexual assault. You may not be able to bring yourself to talk about something so horrible, it is a violation of the most intimate patts of your body as well as a violation of your soul. What shocjs me about a lot of these stories is that in many of the cases, the woman could have easily gotten out of the situation by simply saying no (or hell naw) and walking away. Yet so many of them seem to not have the skills to reject unwanted sexual advances.
I remember about 15 years ago listening to a radio show and they were talking about how some high school girls were giving BJs to multiple boys. Their reason? They didn't want to have sex with the boys so they fellated them instead. I was utterly shocked. Apparently, no, @*!$ you! didn't occur to them as an option.
Girls from earlier times would have no problems saying No and you must be crazy because how dare you.
The sexual revolution apparently liberated women into believing they have no bodily autonomy. Of course, except when it comes to killing their own offspring.

What it did was reject any notion of the intrinsic self-worth of a woman.
At least Catholic girls were taught that they were vastly superior to men, in that the Virgin Mary was the only perfect human being, and they are images of same. New Age Catholics (spit) no longer teach this, but they should. Only by understanding the self worth of the individual can a woman find the strength to say she isn't just an object, is worth enough to fight for, and can reject those who show no respect.
Otherwise, it's just using other people's bodies for personal pleasure. And that is crap.

The immaculate conception is a Catholic term. There are protestants who disagree with her virginity, eternal or otherwise, as well.
The Bible is explicit in that it is not comprehensive.
There are many more things that Jesus did. If all of them were written down, I suppose that not even the world itself would have space for the books that would be written.
The Trinitarian concept of God is also not completely explicit in the Bible(the early heresies are largely about these questions).
Why do you call Me good? Jesus replied. No one is good except God alone.
If we are to employ your interpretive method, clearly Jesus is neither God nor sinless.

And in that context He is equating being "good" with sinlessness. Since, in the merchant's eyes He wasn't God, neither should He be seen as "good."

I'm always suspicious of these kinds of claims as they it's so easy to tarnish somebody's reputation YEARS LATER.
On the other hand -- the phone call is pretty . . . well . ..odd...
And then on the other other hand, I have not thought her story sounded ONE BIT like Joe Biden, quite frankly. It's incredibly aggressive and arrogantly confident that he could get away with it.
And if he's the kind of man who does what she asserts he did -- there is NO WAY he hasn't had the brazen guts to do it to many.
Once they get away with that kind of behavior and think it's really cute and fun then they do it again and again until somebody rams their highheel spike shoe into his nether regions.

So you let Joe get the nomination, start ramping up the news on Joe's grabby hands, have him bow out gracefully for "Medical reasons" then have a emergency meeting to nominate either the flavor of the week Cuomo, or say that the only person who is ready to beat Trump, as in their eyes she already has once, is Stumbles McClinton.
