Time for some freedom marches on your local little Hitlers. It is NOT ENOUGH TO SIMPLY CRITICIZE “THE PARKS DEPARTMENT” or any other government agency. That method means there is no personal responsibility, just hiding inside a nameless DEPARTMENT OF FREEDOM SUPPRESSION. We have to identify the little Hitlers working inside all these agencies of government. Somewhere in the bowels of the Parks department is a PAID WITH TAXES bureaucrat who initiated, signed off on, and ordered insane restrictions such as this demented nailing of boards to the park benches to inhibit sitting at will on the part of the free American, whoever and wherever that citizen may be. This bureaucrat or bureaucrats must be discovered (public records, minutes of meetings, inside informers), named, NAMED REPEATEDLY AND PUBLICLY, and the phone number of their office given as well as the address of the office and email address of the office. These INSANE POLITICAL CLOWNS deep inside must be NAMED. NAMED AND SHAMED. If this sort of thing persists, people need to take a page from the left and visit their homes. Some people are assholes. According to Dominick Gamble, a shopper at Walmart Monday afternoon, the shoppers with their baskets were crowded around an elevator to the parking garage. A woman without the required face mask got on first and tried to close the door on the other shoppers. When they objected, she said she wanted social distancing, says Gamble who shot video of the incident with his cell phone. The Land of Plenty and the Kung Flu hysteria. For every action....... The scale of the food waste we’re seeing is unlike anything in recent history. Nearly 4 million gallons of milk are being dumped every day, according to estimates by the Dairy Farmers of America, the nation’s largest dairy collective. Their friends in the poultry business are staring at an equally depressing, if much different, picture: A growing pile of chicken wings, with no March Madness to feed and rapidly filling storage freezers. A single chicken plant, on average, is now smashing 750,000 unhostaed eggs a week in an attempt to lower animal numbers. Elsewhere, millions of pounds of produce are being tilled over in the fields or taken to landfills to rot. Between 2012 and 2018, 28.3 million mail-in ballots remain unaccounted for, according to data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. The missing ballots amount to nearly one in five of all absentee ballots and ballots mailed to voters residing in states that do elections exclusively by mail. States and local authorities simply have no idea what happened to these ballots since they were mailed – and the figure of 28 million missing ballots is likely even higher because some areas in the country, notably Chicago, did not respond to the federal agency’s survey questions. This figure does not include ballots that were spoiled, undeliverable, or came back for any reason. It appears that NYC is endorsing a religion. And it certainly isn't Christianity or Judaism. Failed Democratic presidential candidate and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says his administration will provide free meals to Muslims celebrating Ramadan. The annual Islamic holy month began Thursday and will run until May 23, and those celebrating in New York City will be presented with 400,000 halal meals, de Blasio announced. Today's government schools are busy teaching selfesteem, outcome based education and SJW philosophy. It is no wonder why these test scores are in the toilet. The US Department of Education just released the 2018 National Assessment of Education Process (NAEP) scores for eighth graders in civics, geography, and history, and the results were disappointing. The tests, administered to a random sample of schools every four years, are the best look we have at how kids are doing in these subjects across the nation. After years of incremental improvement, the numbers this year took a nosedive. In history and geography, scores fell by at least three points, erasing half of history gains and all geography gains since the tests were first administered in 1994. Meanwhile, civics scores essentially flatlined, and less than a quarter of students are now considered proficient in each subject. ladys Rodríguez de Duarte was smart to rush to the hospital after sensing an unnerving spike in blood pressure. After all, the 46-year-old suffers from ovarian cancer. In a macabre turn of events, however, she later woke up in a body bag headed for the funeral home — after being declared dead. For the undertakers working a seemingly routine job, the body bag springing back to life was likely the scare of a lifetime. According to The New York Post, de Duarte was concerned about her heart rate when she visited San Fernando Clinic in Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay. I don't understand the people that keep saying that our whole way of life is going to completely change now. I mean, I get why people think it, but it's objectively untrue. I'm sure some things will change.
But the storm, however hyped, is still raging. At some point the storm will be over. We do a lot of weird crazy shit when there's a blizzard happening. We are severely restricted. When it's stops snowing, and then at a later point when the snow is out of our way, we resume life. So I don't care how much fear there is or how invisible the virus is, we have all always lived with invisible viruses. We were told this one was *different* - in fact it was strongly suggested it was a fucking engineered bioweapon. At some point the fog will clear. So I'm not buying that life is over now. Sorry I refuse to knuckle under to even more commie bullshit. I couldn't wade thru the whole NR article about "cant have bankruptcy for states cuz they are independent entities from the Federal government" So the feds will have to bail the states out rather than make them go thru bankuptcy? Fook that noise. I DGIAF whether the states just run out of money and the pensioners and unions have massive overlapping messy lawsuits or new law is written with a formal bankruptcy procedure for this , but I say NO to bailouts.

Abnormal palmar creases
******** Most people have two horizontal creases, neither one of which goes completely across, the palm. If you slightly flex your palm and look you will probably see one crease that starts at the base between your index finger and middle finger, then goes across to the edge of your palm beneath your pinky finger. And you will see a second crease that starts on the edge of your palm between your index finger and thumb and fades out before it reaches the pinky finger side of the palm. Individuals with Down syndrome usually have a single horizontal crease from the edge of the palm above the thumb to the edge of the palm beneath the pinky finger. This is called a Simian crease (I think because of the notion that apes hang by their palms from tree branches, but I'm not entirely sure of the derivation.) You can have a simian crease without Down syndrome and you can have Down syndrome without a simian crease. duckduckgo "simian crease" for a visual. I couldn't wade thru the whole NR article about "cant have bankruptcy for states cuz they are independent entities from the Federal government" So the feds will have to bail the states out rather than make them go thru bankruptcy?
I think that it is a question of nomenclature - a number of Southern states defaulted on state railroad bonds in the 1850's. That may not have been "bankruptcy", but the states still didn't pay their legally contracted debts. Just suggest to Illinois that if they want a bailout, they will be placed under a Federal board that has to approve any state expenditure - like what happens when states occasionally take over insolvent local governments. We had friends over for dinner. Second weekend in a row. We're so subversive, we even hugged hello and goodbye like normal people. Anyhow, one of the guests tonight is a respiratory therapist. Not in the least worried about the virus. She told about years ago during one of the bad flu years that the area hospitals where she worked were actually overflowing. Said it was terrible. Double shifts, coming down with symptoms herself. This stuff isn't worth comparing.

Well if the 'rona is mutating it will mutate to a less and less fatal form I guess. If it mutates then having had it and having the antibodies won't help either. Having had a cold the year before doesn't keep you from getting the current version. But influenza mutates every year too and they come up with vaccines based on the early cases in Asia or wherever it tends to show up first.

Posted by: Puddleglum at April 26, 2020 10:49 PM (AG2Uh) Yes, I saw that earlier today! btw Bandon Dunes is in Oregon. I believe that pic was Ruby Beach. It is right up near the far corner of the state, and there are many beaches there, ShiShi Beach, Rialto Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach, and others. Oh, and nobody is driving, everyone is hiking. Some beaches are an easy walk, some are a few miles from the parking area. It is like you go back in time when you arrive. One of my top 5 areas of WA state for amazing and unique geography, hands down. July, August, and first half of September are the best times to visit. If you try an off-season hike, there will be nobody there. I found a good link with some pics and easy to read about the Olympic Park beaches. no I don't like it either, he needs to be shifted OFF this project. NOW. meanwhile that is part of our metric for reopening PA - the part we won't ever make, so I guess we never reopen lol we have to have under 50 new cases per 100,000 residents EVERY DAY for two solid weeks AND we have to double testing at the same time that seems like a HELL of a Catch 22, and if we're seeing hardly any hospitalizations from this, what does it matter anyway?!?! but while I hate Wolf, he IS actually following inane CDC guidelines (I guess set by Fauci) on this one. A few years later, I checked with a dermatologist's PA. She likes to look at warts and moles, all right, and sometimes at spots you don't even notice. But she said not to even worry about a skin tag. that's a huge problem however, because businesses cannot function with that kind of uncertainty so someone needs to write up blanket waivers or something to get companies feeling comfortable about just opening up regardless! Posted by: LetMyOrchidFREE at April 26, 2020 11:30 PM (j9HX3) 329

Especially as to the sudden increase of his net worth in the coming months. And you just know, that book deal is gonna be a moonshot of an advance. Dude is what, 80? 312 Last time I showed a skin tag to a physician, he more or less laughed. "I'm not doing that. You cut that off!" I also never got the doctors who would give you six weeks off work for stuff.
A few years later, I checked with a dermatologist's PA. She likes to look at warts and moles, all right, and sometimes at spots you don't even notice. But she said not to even worry about a skin tag. If it bothers you, slice it. Now, I don't know. Maybe the one I had was the "safe" kind. She acted as if they don't belong in the same category with potentially cancerous cells. One thing I have not heard from any government department, big foundation, or UN department is what we will be working on to keep this from happening again. The discussion around places like this has involved, mostly, nuclear weapons aimed at China, but I have felt for decades that we are being cheated by paying for that hidden underground lab from Andromeda Strain and not getting it.
I'm mildly annoyed every single time I take a flu shot and then get sick anyway. We've been at each other, compromising the future of conservatism, over a false dichotomy: we should not have to be arguing over how long a quarantine or a lock-down is, because we should have had to buy only a little time to get a vaccine out. Instead, it took a month just to find out how much of the emergency supplies had been auctioned off by the mafiosi -- and I may be being unfair to the actual Mafia. We need to put together an action plan, that at the very least calls for everyone currently in the HIV/AIDS/Corona establishment being permanently unemployable, and then can build an actual research laboratory dedicated to stopping wild-assed escaped experiments, and combating germ warfare. I think Fort Detrick would be good place, to show you mean business. Posted by: Way, Way Downriver at April 27, 2020 12:07 AM (8IOEj) 395

Astoria is at the mouth of the Columbia River, for those non-PacNW Morons. The camera angle is pointed roughly at Vladivostok. No, we can't actually see Russia from Jordan61's deck. I can only imagine what it looks like on a sunny day. I would have a tough time working there, because when it is sunny, I would just stare out the window all day, getting very little done. Kind of like the last 5 weeks. Except without the view. Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at April 26, 2020 10:47 PM (sy5kK) For a LeftCoast Dawg, you should have known that that picture was taken looking EAST, not WEST. It's looking upriver on the Columbia, given the marina you're looking over towards the bridge is on the west side of it, and the highest span is on the south (Oregon) side of the river. Plus, it was taken closer to evening, with the sun setting in the west (sun behind, causing rainbow to appear in the mist). Posted by: Shepherd Lover at April 27, 2020 12:15 AM (nVC+w) 402

It's not just Uncle Sam that is shitting out new debt like a madman. Corporate bond issuance hit an all time high of $264B in March, breaking the previous monthly high by $80B. And yes, it's the Fed that is backstopping that. They are buying corporate debt (not directly yet, but they are backstopping it -- again, print money to keep yields low, and keep the market from blowing up). Again, we are in cloud cuckoo land of monetary policy here. Posted by: publius, Rascally Rapscallion of a Poperin Pear at April 27, 2020 12:17 AM (f1Vqw) 406

15 minutes in and Waco is infuriating,
When FBI sniper Lon Horuchi killed Vicki Weaver at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, Federal Judge Edward J. Lodge, a George HW Bush appointee, held that Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution grants immunity to Federal officers acting in the scope of their employment. Horuchi could have opened fire with an automatic weapon in downtown Boise, and he would be untouchable, so long as he was "acting in the scope of his employment", in the opinion of Judge Lodge. Amazingly, the Ninth Circuit reversed this on a 6-5 vote, which still meant that five judges thought that Federal agents could murder people without consequences, so long as they were on duty. Boundary County Idaho elected a new prosecutor, who elected not to prosecute Horuchi, so Horuchi walked away scot-free. Many FBI and ATF people were present at both Ruby Ridge and Waco. Here's some more from Cotton, this morning:
Cotton from AR is ready to shut down VISAs to Chinese students, bring drug manufacturing home, do more in South China Sea region -"... more ships,...submarines,...bombers,...fighters" Maria: you believe that we should not be giving VISAs to Chinese students who want to study advanced sciences. They want to get into the **???** sciences, the Googles of the world to steal that research. Is that right? Cotton (R-AR): Yes, Maria, it's a scandal to me that we have trained so many of the Chinese Communist Party's brightest minds to go back to China to compete for our jobs, to take our business, and ultimately to steal our property and design weapons and other devices that can be used against the American people. So I think we need to take a very hard look at the VISAs that we give~ Chinese Nationals come to the US to study especially at the post graduate level and advanced scientific and technological fields. If Chinese students want to come here and study Shakespeare and the the Federalist papers that's what they need to learn from America. That won't even work, as the Fed's new money is all electronic. You can't even burn it. During the Weimar hyperinflation at one point it more economical to burn the paper money that buy fuel with it. While Weimar is the most well know (and studied) hyperinflation, the record is post-War Hungary. You can express peak inflation rates in annualized terms and all that, but the numbers get so big it's meaningless. Far better is the "monetary half life" or the doubling time of the price level. Hungary's doubling time was 15 hours at the peak. Zimbabwe in recent times went up there as well, but where it stands in the rankings, I don't know. The FBI has been rotten for a long, long time. Look at the Boston FBI office when Mueller was running it. I still think that the key event was that in the aftermath of 9-11, the FBI and the intelligence agencies expected a wave of firings and prosecutions for allowing the single greatest intelligence failure in US history, and nobody even lost their job. Nobody. Gee thanks, W. This convinced the FBI and the intelligence agencies that they were untouchable, no matter what they did, so it was perfectly acceptable to try to overthrow the President of the United States to undo an election result. The thing about hyperinflation is that it is not just a high inflation rate. In hyperinflation, the inflation rate itself is rapidly increasing, blowing up. Consider plotting the price level a logarithmic graph. With a constant inflation rate, that graph will be a straight line. In hyperinflation, that graph will itself look like an exponential. Does look like aerial festivities near Damascus, Syrian air defense fire (usually denotes Israeli strike has been completed). Two apparent targets, both known to be of interest, one an airport. The "de-confliction" process Israel uses to ensure no Russians are in the wrong place at the wrong time, while still keeping to schedule and preserving security, has gotta be something.

Let me be clear, I agree with Trump. We should kill off all small business establishments. This means that little business owners must pay $4000 to the DNC before mid-night Sunday or be bankrupted. Wait. That doesn't include progressive states like Colorado with its first gay democrat governor. I endorse the opening pot shops and bars in Colorado and other states. This goes for Barney Frank's butt boys in D.C. The tropical minority-majority state of Hawaii is opening its parks, beaches like, Ala Moana, Diamond Head, and so on. For a health inspection fee of $5000 luau cookouts will be allowed. If you hire escort girls or boys use a mask and an adult massage table. The same goes for Puerto Rico. Stay progressive. Good evening.

Oh the Israelis are well connected to Moscow, and so far Russia has wisely avoided getting in the way. I'm just thinking of the process I mentioned that checks all the boxes I listed. Impressive.
And they've been hitting Iranian targets in Syria regularly for a long time. I don't think "restraint" actually was a relevant concept there at any point, more a question of feasibility and urgency of the operation. Recently they did a nice brushback pitch, posting video of surveillance of Hezbollah thugs in Syria, with the obvious implication. A bit of a history to that approach. When Arafat was evacuated from Beirut in '82, Israeli snipers' photos of him (obviously in range) were shown to the US to confirm that they could have stopped his journey if they chose to do so. Biden is the opposite of Trump. No one thought Trump could win. The Dems and Repubs discounted Trump to the point they thought it was impossible. Biden is no ones favorite. No one is actually enthused by Biden's candidacy or platform. He won the primary for the simple reason that people thought he would be the best able to win. They thought this because people kept repeating that he would be best able to win. I can't think of any Democrat losing nominee over the years that could not destroy him in a one on one debate. Fritz Mondale would ruin him. Even Dukakis would do well.
They may be able to slip Biden through because the people in general really are that dumb. The nation in general is moving more leftist and statist, that is historical fact. It should not be that way but it is that way. Particularly with social media it is easier to be a leftist and forget history. No one learns history anymore so it is not like you are going to be called out. Biden could win as any Dem could win. But he might be the most uninspired choice in modern history. Sure Hillary would give him a run for that title as she was likely the worst idea the Dems ever came up with. She was there to make a point. Good job, we get the point. But Biden as the "safe choice" is not much better than choosing none of the above. Posted by: Quint at April 27, 2020 03:52 AM (hHxp2) 520

I don't agree about Johnson. He always had wild hair. He looks fine to me.
I don't know enough about this Dem Panic to judge how much is bs and how much is real. It is a real thing there is no doubt about that. What I wonder about is how many deaths are attributed to this disease. Is there a way to prove all of this? They claim smoking related deaths are almost as high as any other cause of death. They say smoking related deaths are about 500,000. Now there is no doubt in my mind that smoking is horrible for your health. That can not be disputed and it is dangerous to smoke. But I wonder how they decide what is a smoking related death. If someone dies of heart disease and smokes, is that a smoking related death? If someone dies of heart disease and doesn't smoke, it is pretty clear it wasn't smoking related. The point I am maknig is a lot of these numbers are fungible. I have seen people with multiple health issues pass away. A doctor or other medical professional had to put something on the death certificate as the cause of death. It is not like Quincy, they don't spend weeks trying to figure this stuff out. No doubt smoking is bad for you and Covid is for real. But if you buy the numbers as sacrosant, you have not seen how they do it for others who pass away. My guess is in some cases is it being played down, and in other cases it is being played up because of ulterior motives, a lack of tenacity, or simply out of reaching the wrong conclusion. Young people today spout off the numbers of dead as it this were Gettysburg. But if you ask them how many die every day in this country, I doubt many could even get close. Any way to bring it back to smoking quality? Posted by: Bruce at April 27, 2020 06:22 AM (vd8XM) If it was in a tube, it may be possible but I am not sure about that. My guess is it will never be what it was intended to be. From what I have heard, if a cigar loses its humidity you can never really bring it back to its original state. To make it smokeable, you will want to bring it back in a humidor or some type of package with humidity. The standard is to bring is back to around 70 percent humidity and keep it around 70 degrees but not higher. These numbers are not exact but they are the standard. Really you need to examine the cigar itself. If it is dry to the touch or peeling, then it will likely never be what it once was. That is not a reason to dump it, you can still get it back to smoking level. You could do this with a glad bag and a Boveda humidifying pack. All in your will spend about $5. Yes, a heart failure related to smoking is a smoking death. In the case of the bus it's just an added complication of Newton's 3rd Law - I am sure there is a place for that on the headstone.

Why is it so hard for Democrat politicians to climb off the ledge? All the counties surrounding Houston have repudiated Judge Lina H for her approach to masks and all you get from her is "I have saved 4500 lives." It would be so easy for her to say, I think you should wear a mask but I went too far with the fines and jail thing - she might even get some votes out of it.

There have been 17 murders in D.C. since the city saw its first confirmed case of COVID-19 on March 7, and 46 murders since the start of 2020, according to data from the Metropolitan Police Department. Despite a pandemic and orders from the mayor to stay inside, D.C. is on track to match its homicide rate from last year, when the city saw the highest murder count in a decade, at 166.

So, the Sixth Circuit just discovered a right to literacy in the federal Constitution. The main impact of this decision is to open the federal treasury to mass tort lawyers. To accomplish this piece of magic revenue generation, lawyers had to persuade a federal appeals court two thirds composed of GOP nominees (six by Trump alone) that such a never-before-seen "right" exists.
The three judge panel making this stupid decision was a young Trump appointee, who dissented in the loss, and a Friend Of Bill lawyer plus the wife of Tennessee's most prominent tort lawyer, who was appointed by Obama. So, rationality lost 2-1 to evil Democrat tort lawyers. But, our ridiculous SCOTUS Chief assured me there are no "Republican" or "Democrat" judges!
