Sundown Joe Has Another Cringe-Making Interview In Which He Loses His Train of Thought Even Though He's Reading the Answer from Note-Cards

Don Trump, Jr. says he can't wait until Biden debates Trump.

Is anyone confident that will happen? I'm not. Joe Biden will insist on plainly unacceptable preconditions to get out of the debate.

That, or he'll insist on wearing his Special Hearing Aid, which of course will be a little radio that he'll be fed his talking points through.

Video below.

Yesterday, Biden was on a phone call with billionaire donors and essentially repeated Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" attack line against Trump voters-- the voters that Biden is supposed to be able to persuade to vote for him. The voters Biden needs to persuade to vote for him.

He basically admitted that the only premise for his candidacy -- that he can appeal to the white working class that supports Trump -- is completely false, and that he knows it.

At a virtual fundraiser Wednesday night, Joe Biden laughed off the possibility of appealing to President Trump's base -- and then directly attacked some Trump voters, drawing comparisons from journalists and the Trump campaign to Hillary Clinton's infamous "basket of deplorables" moment during the 2016 campaign.

The event, hosted by Joe Kiani -- the founder and CEO of the Masimo Corporation -- and Sarah Kiani -- a board member of the Masimo Foundation for Ethics, Innovation and Competition -- drew about 55 attendees online, according to the Biden campaign. During a question-and-answer session, Biden responded "probably not" when someone asked if he could win over Trump supporters, and then he launched into a scathing critique.

“There are people who support the president because they like the fact that he is engaged in the politics of division," Biden said. "They really support the notion that, you know, all Mexicans are rapists and all Muslims are bad and... dividing this nation based on ethnicity, race. This is the one [sic] of the few presidents who succeeded by deliberately trying to divide the country, not unite the country.”

Trump's campaign fired back on Thursday.

"Biden reveals his disdain for certain Americans burns just as hot as Hillary’s," the Trump campaign said in a statement as Biden's comments circulated. The campaign accused Biden of calling "working-class voters racist, xenophobic and Islamophobic."

Yep, exactly what will happen. There will be no debates, they can't afford to let slow joe on stage with Trump.

But, that's a two edge sword that Trump will wield against the cowardly joe biden who is so afraid of Trump he refuses to debate him.

7 Trainwreck.

Choo Choo!

What are they thinking?

Is is as simple is, they were boxed into a corner and were caught off guard spending 24/7 trying to destroy Trump?

They thought the coup would be successful, but it failed.
They thought the next hoax or attack would be successful and it all failed

They have been chasing their tales for so long, thinking that "THIS TIME WE WILL GET HIM!" that they lost track of time and missed what was happening to the party. So much infighting. Old old hag and weasel leadership. So far left extremist views.

They are cunning, but they are also this dumb.

What can be said of the judgement of those who have endorsed "DEMentia" Joe Biden ?

c) new push to retire like-aged politicians
d) get to test out the 25th amendment (would be safer to remove POTUS Joe than candidate Joe)

68 When I was out this morning, I drove around town and went through some local strip malls, just to see if anyone is still open. Not many. I don't buy comics, but since Ace talks about them from time to time, I've noted that there's only one big comic store in town, and they have carried all the new stuff. Drove by, it was closed and on the door was taped a note from March 17, saying that they could no longer allow browsing their items, but if anyone wanted a specific item, he could make a trip down there to meet them in the parking lot and sell it to them.

I'll bet they haven't done $5.00 worth of business that way in the last month. How does he pay rent on his retail space, utilities, insurance? He doesn't. Another small business that will almost certainly never reopen, and he can't even dump his inventory because nobody wants to buy that crap anymore.

A friend of mine once sent me an E-Mail exchange with one of his friends about the evil Trump and how great socialism is and how awful America's history is. He asked me how I would I respond. I fisked it and sent it back, but I opened it with, "Here is how I would do it, but I wouldn't do it. He is never going to be convinced. He is a true believer. There's no point in increasing tension in your friendship."

So, no, there is no point at all trying to convince a True Believer unless there's an audience. Arguing with a radical fence post has some value in public, because the other people nearby will hear it and someone might be swayed in your direction. The fence post will not. Absent an audience, there is no point.

The only part of town that really seemed kind of vibrant, with a lot of people doing stuff, was the northeast quadrant were mostly Mexicans live, and who knows how many are illegal. (most, probably)

We talk big talk about resisting unconstitutional orders, but they're the only ones with enough nerve to actually do it. I'm starting to think that the Mexicans , legal and illegal, are the last true Free Market Capitalists left in this country.

btw, the mexicans that come to Texas are way different than the loud mouthed socialist Mexicans who all go to California. (Because Cali pays them to go there)

Faulty premise, faulty conclusion.

Trump never said or implied that all Mexican are rapists. He said that there are many criminals coming from Mexico over our southern border. That is a fact that is undeniably true, as evidenced by our illegal alien prison population, many of whom are convicted in the U.S. of violent crimes like rape, murder, child abuse, kidnapping, assault, etc. But we're not allowed to talk about all the Mexican (and Salvadoran, Guatemalan, Dominican, etc.) violent criminal illegal aliens committing crimes and raping and killing people in the U.S., and then costing us billions of dollars every year to prosecute and imprison, because . . . raaaaaaacist!

True, but even truer is that no one who thinks like that can be a true "Friend" they're just a user of one's time and resources, and once you realize that you realize you need to dump them. (unless it's related to your work, and then you pretend to be nice for as long as you think you have to)

Whenever I've run into that type of person on email, they learn pretty quickly never to bring anything like that up with me again, because I rip their ass wide open for it. And they either are very careful around me from that point forward, or we never speak again. I suppose I've racked up a lot of people who will never speak to me again on that count, and good. What I have found is that in some cases, there is a person they really respect out there and if it is that person that puts the bug in their ear, at the very least, it goes in.

Sometimes that works. Otherwise small interjections of truth, very calmly will seep in, but may or may not make a difference in the end.

We should all be trained in cleansing the brainwashed left.

And then whenever it came time for REAL decisions, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM - and obviously Joe Manchin - simply turns their vote over to Pelosi and Schumer and does whatever they are ordered to do by the Far Left. Because that's where their only true loyalty lies.

The moment anyone who WILL vote starts paying attention, and hears this embarrassment, they will either vote Trump or not vote. The Dems are not going to convince a single person who voted for Trump in 2016 to vote for Biden. So where are they going to get the extra votes they need?

It's like any other appliances. Take headphones, for example.

You can get shit headphones for
You can get decent to good headphones for $75-$150.
You can get kickass baller headphones for $300-$500.

Or you can spend thousands on your headphones, which I don't understand. I don't see enough difference in quality to even consider spending that much, even if I comfortably could.

But it tends to break down the same way.
"Excellent" costs 75%-125% more than "good."

That's why my top 100 list is just alphabetical. Trying to rank by quality is too tricky. Too many variables. How is Casablanca better than The Seven Samurai? How is Airplane worse than Rio Bravo? Stuff like that, movies are too different.

I MAY take Deadpool off my list if something else better comes along but I doubt it. Deadpool was really funny to me, but Deadpool 2 sorta took the bloom off that rose.

It's a thing wealthy people do.

One is for things like drinks and ice cream and whatnot, and one is for the normal stuff people put in their fridges.

So when guests come over, they can just grab a diet coke from the fridge on the left and not see people's leftovers, I guess.

Agreed, I'm not interested in the class warfare, Trump probably has an actual meat locker for his ice cream.

But the people that are demanding everyone be quarantined have cushy lives that are completely disconnected from the real economy. That needs to be emphasized.

What about the division of good and evil, laws (borders) versus lawless (documented foreigners illegally claiming "undocumented worker" status)?

What about the hate for white people, saying "we" must confess our "white privilege" and surrender our patriotism to a foreign invasion, and to the communism/totalitarianism of the leftists? The blatant racism/bigotry and special rights for "minorities" has been overplayed ... about a decade ago, with Obama (hopefully) representing the public getting sick of the whole "game".

Joe Manchin is the last of the "Blue Dogs", and he is a case in point as
to why they all went extinct. In the south, they would all promise to
be "Conservative Dems" and say all the things their constituents wanted
to hear, and they would even vote that way on inconsequential little
meaningless bills. And then whenever it came time for REAL decisions,
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM - and obviously Joe Manchin - simply turns
their vote over to Pelosi and Schumer and does whatever they are ordered
to do by the Far Left. Because that's where their only true loyalty
lies.

362 Hearing aid my @zz. IF Joe gets that far (not likely) then I can guarantee they'll whip up a "Second Wave" frenzy. Joe will announce he'll debate, but it will need to be on something like skype.

Then 2 things can happen.

1) the questions are all pre-recorded and Joe will have several takes, the best ones being recorded. Joe will strangely have canned answers to any of Trump's quips directed at him, if Joe even acknowledges there's somebody else involved.

2) More likely, we're going to see the first deep-fake fakeout in history. Joe's face and voice will be put onto an actor who is quick, whitty and well versed on all the talking points. This will of course catch everybody, including Trump flat-footed. Watching how far this technology has come in 6 months from Youtube amateurs, you just know the DNC will hire the best hollywood has...

Considering the shenanigans that took place with Hillary during her debates (just look at all the podium weirdness that has never been brought up since) I think they could get away with this. 100% of the media and 80% of DC would be behind it.

But, realistically I'm still on the media getting turned loose on the sexual allegations, before Joe can even blink the poor guy dies from Covid-19, and Gavin/Gretchen/Andrew come riding in on their white horse to save the country.

I can back this up 100%. I know too many people that did this. Same goes for so many of those fancy bosch/fisher paykal things. I get to house sit in a place that has the kitchen with the "no appliance" look, all of it doesn't work. I'm good with the instant hot water though, that's pretty cool to have coffee in 2 minutes.

There's other companies that have similar looks for built ins. If you go that way, look to professional/industrial grade. Live with the look of an appliance.
One of the issues with refrigerators now (look it up, many articles) is they're so energy efficient their life span is a fraction of what a fridge was 20 years ago. They seriously say 5-7 years, tops. So you're lucky if you get 10? F that. The more you spend, the shorter its life.

The SubZero has had an absurd amount of issues, the "cheapie" garage-type fridge, no problems whatsoever.

I just hate that you are sort of "stuck" repairing a SubZero if you have it. A replacement for mine is like $12k+. It's not a hard decision to throw a grand at it rather than buying a new one. Plus it will require cabinet work if it's replaced.

Repair places know this and charge accordingly.

If an appliance place knows you can rip out the Whirlpool fridge and get a new one for like $1k, they know they can't shoot for the moon.

So I tried it w/o the space and still no dice, tried reentering my SSN using dashes and it told me that both SSN and last name were wrong. So fine, they are getting a paper check and if the IRS employee that has to open it has worries about 'rona virus serves em right. Since I have owed a slight amount of money the last few years I don't know that they have my bank info anymore for direct deposit so I may be one of those that gets a paper check way into summertime. Yeah - I need to pull out the Router Tables and make a new Over the Fridge Cabinet now that I ditched the Sub Zero.

Had the Chinese flu occurred closer to the election, had the governors not showed their thirst for power and control, and had Trump not shown his management skills , things might have been different, but this "crisis" has been wasted. There are no do overs. Even if the Chinese flu re erupts, we'll have a vaccine by then, Trump will have proven himself as a really good leader, and people will be back to work. I only wish that the RNC would remind ( point out) that in past crises, the dem President never handed out money to the general public. There is so much room to embrace the power of "and" on this one.

It could be from a bat, at least originally. But the wet market (a now debunked story) near the bio lab didn't sell bats, and the bats with this kind of coronavirus aren't native to that part of China.

So the virus could well have come from a bat, but the outbreak could well have come from the lab.

477 Know someone who had a SubZero that lasted 28 years - no repairs or issues. Only had to be replaced because of the actual (at that time) limiting factor on fridges - the insulation becoming saturated, losing insulation ability. Thing still functioned perfectly otherwise. The economy will not turn back on instantly ... some pent up demand sure, but also a lot of untold damage, and changes in consumer behavior.

Personal debt, even student loans, may have to be written down to the level can make payments. Bail out the little people, then can pay the bigger people and not lose their homes or cars (banks don't want them anyway). Ideally the "rich" that made the bad loans should take the loss, and pushing people into debt slavery has made them rich ... but it will be tricky, in any case.

Sure, for those of us who buy the ones from the 50s and 60s. If you're wanting to lure me away from the other great cars in the market today, though...

553 433 There must be a reason to own a sub zero fridge.

I purchased a standard stand up freezer twelve years ago and it still works. It keeps meat, chicken, and fish, well for over a year. That's more than I need.

We have a SubZero. Of course, at this point it dates back to 1993. It's tremendously well built, the refrigeration and controls side of things is very basic and simple (probably not true of newer ones), the mechanical layout is very maintainable, it uses off-the-shelf Whirlpool ice makers (that break every five years, but hey, they're $30 or so).

The box is not any miracle of modern manufacturing, it's a bunch of panels probably bent by a guy on a sheet metal brake, powdercoated, and riveted together.

Some years back I went through and stripped out the peeling factory sealant and went through it with the good 3M Marine Sealant, and it's held up well. The powdercoat's also worn off around the door seal a bit, and pretty soon I'm going to have to get some new wire wheels for the dremel, clean all that off, and touch it up with white appliance epoxy.

So it looks like we're gonna get at least 30 years out of this thing.

Parents had a dryer that lasted 45 years. Of course, just a motor, rotating drum, heater, and simple timers. I have the manual. Classic 60s cover art, dressed up housewife - I think the kids call this "mid-century modern" now.

That reminds me. Parents had a Sunbeam toaster that lasted decades, and then mom had it restored. It worked for years more, until dad did something f**k it up. Beautiful heavy thing, polished stainless. Current toaster I got worked properly for exactly 2 f***ing months.

China is asshoe, but I think there's a bigger problem when it comes to consumer products. Seems to be a lack of even the ability to pay more from something made as well as a 1950s consumer product - they're not available.

583 Bought a brand new side by side Fridgidaire in 2008. Other than the mother board, the gasket for the freezer, the fan in the freezer and the electric water valve for the ice maker it's been a great product!

Another one from my parents house circa 1983 sits in the garage with no issues except it runs out of beer occasionally.

584 Parents had a dryer that lasted 45 years.

We've got an LG set of front-loaders we got at a Home Depot black-friday sale. No one wanted that color so they knocked the price down, then suddenly discovered everyone wanted them. Hello Korea send us another ten thousand of those. We didn't get ours until March.

That reminds me. Parents had a Sunbeam toaster that lasted decades, and then mom had it restored.
The toaster we've got now we got as a marriage gift IIRC. 1991. And it's nothing special, it's not some old stainless work of art, it's a white plastic case. It gets used.

We still have my mother's Kitchenaid mixer and her OG Cuisinart among other things, all dating to the mid '70s.

I have a perfectly functional late '40s Loewy-design Kenmore bullet vacuum cleaner. Restorable, but not restored. Still hanging on to that.

I have been using my mid '80s Yamaha K-640 cassette deck to transcribe some old live/live broadcast tapes via Audacity. Still works fine. Of course, it was worked like a rented mule for about ten years then stored until about three months ago...

586 I know a few WWII vets that have more cognitive ability than biden. Roosevelt interned the Japanese, bidens family should intern him at an assisted living community.

588 Sounds like he's more coherent when he's not trying to recall and repeat scripted answers. If you're his handlers, you have to accept that you can't really prepare him for a debate. Anything that relies on his ability to retain and recall short term memory will be a disaster.

"That, or he'll insist on wearing his Special Hearing Aid, which of course will be a little radio that he'll be fed his talking points through."

Unless that's the Cyberman Special Hearing Aid, it won't fookin' help. It may to Quid Dementia Joe fighting with the voice on the other side, calling them "fat" and asking if they'd like to step outside. "Don't make me cut a bitch, bitch!"

Much to XiNN's dismay. He can't read his own fookin' notes, what makes you think he can hear a voice in his head and parrot it perfectly without arguing with it, or getting angry with it??
