Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Federal Judge Orders Hillary Clinton to Sit for Deposition About Her Use of Illegal Private ServerWithin 75 days. Oh, and also, Hillary Clinton has scheduled the judge to die by suicide within 60 days.
A federal judge has ordered former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to sit for a sworn deposition for the first time in connection with her use of a private email account during her State Department tenure. U.S. District Court Royce Lamberth issued the order Monday in connection with a five-and-a-half-year-old Freedom of Information Act lawsuit the conservative group Judicial Watch filed seeking emails related to the deadly 2012 attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya. ... The judge, an appointee of President Ronald Reagan, said the fact that more Clinton emails continue to dribble out from the State Department raises questions about the thoroughness of the government's earlier actions to recover Clinton's messages. "Even years after the FBI investigation, the slow trickle of new emails has yet to be explained," Lamberth wrote. He blasted Clinton's prior answers given in response to another judge's order as "incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory, at best."Meanwhile, Senator Ron Johnson plans to call Burisma witnesses to testify -- and that government records indicate that "concerns" about Burisma are "warranted."

I put on a suit jacket when I voted in 2016. I figured that election was an event horizon. Oh sure we would continue to vote, but the most important issue, whatever that was, would just happen to not be on the menu after the primary. For example, in 2012, ACA was the most important issue, and we had to choose between the guy who did it to the US, or the guy who did it to MA. Hillary would win, she would put up 4 judges, and America would slouch toward oblivion.

I read recently that the FBI was trying to prosecute Hillary for espionage crimes and the DOJ (read: Obama's attorney general) shut it down. I don't know how seriously to take that, though. They don't seem interested in doing anything proper with a different AG and president either.

King County just announced 4 more deaths from COVAD19. That's 5 total.
Details are tough to get from them, but it appears that all had previous underlying health conditions. Yes, I live in King County. I have not bought a mask, either. But I did drink some Maker's Mark last night, and I firmly believe it completely counteracts any ill effects from this killer disease. And I communicate with all of you now, showing my efforts are proving effective. I will be continuing my emergency treatment again tonight. I'm not sure I can keep this up, as I will eventually run out of Maker's. So emergency Maker's donations will be cheerfully accepted. Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at March 02, 2020 03:37 PM (sy5kK) 205

What is the DNC endgame re: the primaries? If it's to steal the nom from Bernie again, they have to know it'll be so blatant this time the Bernie supports will leave en masse, seriously hurting the whole party, let alone losing an already tough Presidential campaign.
Actually beating Bernie fairly at this point looks nearly impossible, and would require such obvious shenanigans that it's almost as bad as stealing it from him at the convention, with much the same results. If they think they're going to lose anyway, and they want to smack-down the Bernie/AOC wing, wouldn't it be best to let them win the primaries, look supportive, secretly undermine during the general, and use the huge loss to wrest control from the Shining Path left back to the establishment? Imagine if Trump had lost...the GOPe would never stop rubbing it in our faces, saying they had the path to victory all along and we blew it. Posted by: Grimaldi at March 02, 2020 03:38 PM (NjJl3) 219

Since graduating law school he has done nothing but sit on boards of companies that he has only a passing acquaintance of, and no demonstrable knowledge or expertise in. For example, the supposed "expertise" that justified putting him on the board of Amtrak was the the fact that he'd ridden on the trains a few times! What's the 4th grade explanation of how these work? My sense is they generally just amplify the trend (if its strong enuf) so either buying or selling if the market goes up or down a certain percentage. Is that close?
Posted by: LASue at March Everybody has a different black box, however, they look at relationships between different things and buy or sell based upon what they see. the amplification you are thinking of is because you have many black boxes from different cos working simultaneously and the get into something of a feedback loop, kind of. Greetings, Jane ... Believe it or not, there are chiropractors whose specialize in allergies. The goal of the chiropractic treatments is to relax the area of the spine where the gland (which produces your body's own antihistamine) is located -- which allows more of it to be released into your system. Like injections, you would need multiple treatments throughout the allergy season. But, in your case, such treatments could augment the effects of your meds and provide better relief from symptoms. Just a suggestion. Posted by: Kathy at March 02, 2020 04:00 PM (qv3wo) 384

I'm prepared for a possible quarantine - so making sure we have enough food, household supplies to go a few weeks indoors (don't want to cut into long-term prep supplies if not necessary). Not really stressing about no electricity/water, since that's more typical of an unforeseen disaster vs. a planned/government ordered quarantine. The wildcard seems to be the supply chain disruption plus panic store shelf-clearing making it more challenging to get back into routine food/supply shopping after a quarantine. The good news about the possibility of COVID-19 running rampant in Washington state for the past 4 weeks is that there hasn't been a huge influx of unexplained deaths and/or hospital stays. We have six kids so I figured go ahead and store a lot. The IBC totes are $200 locally, and I'd easily pay that much to store far less buying smaller containers. Posted by: TexasDan at March 02, 2020 03:56 PM (yL25O) Worst case is you have a water container. I'm planning on getting a couple for the property we just got in East Texas. And I guess it's a question of if you're rural or suburban. If you're suburban you can always throw some simple filters on the front of one and use it as a rain water cache and claim you're goin green. I had 3 50 gallon rain barrels (lousy filters, I know better now) that cost me $300, and that was years ago. I'll go with something like the IBC if I redo the system. If you rotate it on the x-axis (left to right or vice versa) it's backwards. If you rotate it on the z-axis (or towards or away from you), it's just upside down.

455 I HANG OUT IN PARK BATHROOMS
Cops used to be tasked with breaking into park bathroom stalls they believed guys were using for the sex. Those poor cops would have to spray paint the conjunction point. Later in court, when the two dudes were trying to argue they weren't f*cking, the prosecution would trot out pictures of a guy's wang with paint on it except for the masked off tip and another guy's butt with paint all over it. Source: my dad was in the police Explorer program in CA in the early 70s. Fortunately my dad didn't have to do this task. Try to rotate the Bloomberg map in your mind so that it is no longer upside down. You will notice to your shock that once you have turned it right-side up -- the map is now reversed, backwards, in a mirror image of itself! What the Bloomberg map is is a flipped horizontal mirror___ of the actual NH map -- as if it was reflected in a mountain lake. Seriously. Food grade pressure washed ones in Kansas City go for 75 apiece... In my undisclosed residence locale close to KC we had major water line issues a while back, NO water for more than a week. The reason the business media supplies for a market move is always pure conjecture
A more likely scenario is this: investors knew this was not going to be an extended down turn, and saw a great opportunity to buy. Also there is the not-unlikely scenario that the drop was largely fueled by Chinese companies trying to liquidate for ready cash. It's interesting that the coalition party kept expanding, and then once it got real power under TFG, those factions stated to realize they wanted different things and understood that they hated each other.
The Rs had this to an extant with the never trumpers and swamp rats, but most Rs are behind Trump simply because they are a consensus party and they agree on what he is doing (small gov, strong military, america first, ...) You don't see much talk about this. Posted by: Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest at March 02, 2020 04:54 PM (LWu6U) 575
You don't see much talk about this.
That is an interesting analysis, and the biggest flaw with coalition parties is that you need someone strong to hold them together or they immediately fracture into brutal infighting. I see no one in the Democrats right now who is that figure. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at March 02, 2020 05:34 PM (KZzsI) Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at March 02, 2020 05:52 PM (sy5kK) 577
