Bloodiest Moments of the Debate

If you were watching Trump's rally last night -- or something else -- you actually did miss something.

The Democrat Debate was a bloodbath.

There were a lot of deep, bubbling wounds inflicted.

It was kinda glorious.

Bloomberg bashes Sanders as a fake socialist with three houses and a million dollars in the bank:

Sanders snaps back, demanding to know which "tax haven" Bloomberg lives in:

Bootygag blasts Sanders as a Socialist, not a Democrat, and Bloomberg as a Republican carpetbagger, also not a Democrat:

Warren goes to her safe comfortable wooby of #WokeWhiteLiberalFeminist identity politics, blasting Bloomberg as a sexist who hates women:

She then ripped him about all the women who had sued Bloomberg personally or Bloomberg's company for discriminatory behavior. "Maybe they didn't like a joke I told."

The crowd did not like that diminishment of a liberal sacred cow.

Warren stayed in her RichLiberalWhiteWomanFemnist identity politics bubble, demanding that Bloomberg release the NDAs he forced former employees to sign so that they could talk about his behavior with women.

Bloomberg took a lot of inarticulate words -- claiming, so preposterously as to be actually miraculous, that these NDAs were signed to protect the women who sued him, rather than to protect himself -- before he finally said, "No way, sister."

This is brutal:

Joe Biden was barely present at the debate. That's not really different from previous debates.

But this debate, other candidates did not bother to even attack him. I don't remember a single attack on Biden. They know he's done.

Biden did have one moment where he was semi-cogent: Rebutting Mike Bloomberg's claim that he himself "stopped" the stop-and-frisk policy.

No, Biden says. Obama and I sent in "monitors" to get you to stop, and you still wouldn't stop.

Which cherished identity politics group does Bloomberg not offend?

Human Talking Point Machine Pete Bootygag tried to score way too many points on Amy Klobuchar for not remembering (or knowing) the name of Mexico's president.

It's not that there's no point to be scored here; it's just that this Smug Millennial Bitchboy seems to think that his status as Trivia Night Champ at the local South Bend Chi-Chi's is a Golden Wonka Ticket to the White House.

By the way: Politico seems to be forgetting a name themselves, no?

Here's Klobuchar saracastically telling the Human Talking Points Machine who has Learned Short Spanish Phrases to pander that he's "just so perfect."

He's like the gay version of Rubio.

Which is usually just called "Rubio."

What he says there in his Schoolboy Spanish is something like, "To the 'Dreamers,' this country is your country too."

Note well: The "Dreamers" are not Americans. They are illegal aliens. But he's promising to give them our country.

In Spanish, naturally.

I don't remember what was going on here, but Klobuchar and Buttigieg plainly hate each others' guts.

They're both right.

Former alleged "Republican" and strongly suspected turncoat leaker who destroyed the 2008 vice presidential candidate he himself picked Steve Schmidt warned his New Super Best Friend Besties on MSNBC and in the Democrat Party that they must not nominate the socialist Bernie Sanders.

But his New Best Friend Super Besties didn't really care what Steve Schmidt said.

Poor Steve! SAD!

The night's winner, most admit, is Donald Trump.

NeverTrump is dejected -- dejected that they will not have some kind of Democrat that they can vote for that they can pretend is "moderate."

1. Joe Biden yelling he's "met with 2 Mexican presidents" and doesn't say their names. No chance he knew them. Then saying he supervised bazillions of dollars in aid to Latin American but that's why they're leaving.

2. Joe suddenly liking tariffs on the Chinese and dirty mongolian coal or something. Land War in Asia stuff

3. Warren wanting to ban fraking.

4. Bernie wanting to redistribute 20% of every corporation and give it to communist workers

5. Bloomy having no answer to NDAs except they didn't like his jokes

6. Criminalizing energy execs or was it killing?

7. Bernie confusing how long he has left with how long the earf has left.

9. Bootygag's giving away the country to illegals.

10. The audience couldn't drown out the hecklers with USA.

Ya know - I disagreed with stop and frisk from the first time I heard about it. But, my objections to it are on the grounds of potential abuse, and the precedent it sets for further incursions by LE.

I prefer the old, corrupt ways of dealing with this, rather than a spooky new way of making it legal and subjecting everyone to strongarm policing instead of just the known bad elements.

I always rejected the assumption by its opponents on the Left that its a racist policy. I think (for the most part) proponents of stop-and-frisk were speaking in good faith, and believed it to be a reasonable and acceptable approach to crime control. I just think that they're wrong about it.

But in light of Bloomberg's prior statements, he may be an actual racist. Not just saying that because "their rules." He seems to sneeringly condescend toward blacks and lump them together as a unitary criminal element.

Unfortunately, I think Bernie may have the best shot of the bunch at beating Trump. "Free everything" paid for by "the 1%" is a tough message to beat. It may have been enough to win in 2016, as the economy was still weak and Trump largely unproven. With the economy doing well and Trump not failing, I think he has the edge still.

As is well known, retirement communities are often deep with sexy times between the residents. At one such upscale community, Bill and Jeannie hooked up. It was fun and satisfying and they became something of an item, enjoying each-others "company" quite frequently.

One day they had a tee time scheduled, but Bill begged off, claiming illness. Jeannie went ahead without him. After a few holes, she got bored of the golf and went back to her apartment to get some soup for Bill. She put it in a container and let herself in to Bill's apartment.

Once inside, she finds him not ill, but rather deep inside Wendy, a woman from one floor up.

She cried out in despair, "Why, Bill? Why? What does Wendy have that I don't have?"

Bill, not breaking stride, looks at her and growls, "Parkinson's."

Then they lose. Handily and possibly in a landslide.

I'm not sure they can afford to do this. No one can predict what will happen and it could be as drastic as the party completely shattering and shattering for good.

I think their best bet is to accept reality and allow Bernie to become the candidate who takes on Trump. If he loses (very likely I think but not a certainty), they can use it to try and steer everyone back to the neoliberal ranch. If he wins, they can bottle him up in Congress and use the media to beat him down if need be. There would be executive orders that could hurt their oligarch butt buddies, but those can be shot down by the conservative SCOTUS (and likely with votes from the liberal wing as well).

None of them were born here. If they were, under current (mis)interpretations of the law, they'd be U.S. citizens, and thus the "dreamer" programs would not apply to them.

The so-called "dreamers" are all foreign-born foreigners who came to the U.S. illegally, and remain here under Obama's lawless DACA program. Contrary to mayor Buttplug's contention, the U.S. is not their country, simply because they chose to come and live here illegally, or their parents chose to come and live here illegally. Their country is the country of their birth.

We don't allow thieves and bank robbers and embezzlers to keep what they steal, nor do we allow their children to keep what their criminal parents steal, because we don't want to be mean to kids. We enforce the law, and if the criminals' kids suffer for it, that's the fault of the criminal parents, not American citizens. The same principle must apply to illegal aliens. We can't reward them for breaking our laws by giving their kids the fruits of their crimes. It's bad public policy, it's unfair to legal immigrants, it's unfair to U.S. citizens and taxpayers, and it creates incentives for other foreigners to break our laws in the future, in the hopes that their own kids will also benefit.

Watch the next episode of "Our Cartoon President" on Showtime. They rip Trump a bunch but they tear into everyone else. They make Amy K. look like a psychopathic lunatic. The opening of the first Dem debate was hilarious. It is on youtube.

Impeaching a president over using an explicit, exclusive and absolute power specifically identified in the Constitution would be a laugh riot.

402 The reports on the few primaries so far have said most voters decide in the last few days before voting.. probably because they are trying to pick the least worst candidate.

403 FWIW, there is a specified sentencing range for charges and judges must provide justification for sentencing above or below the presumptive sentence. Apart from the conviction, any sentencing above or below can be appealed to a higher court. My guess is that the judge sentenced in the middle of the sentencing range to try to minimize her exposure on appeal.

Haven't looked into the specifics but my guess is that the prosecutors were asking for a sentence above the presumptive sentence in the guidelines (an upwards departure) which are highly scrutinized by appellate courts.

404 387 Yeah, I think that's all but a foregone conclusion.

My question is whether, in the event of a brokered convention, would not opt to hand it to Butti instead of Bloomie.

It seems as if they could recover a little better with Butti.

Of course Bloomie is easy on the party coffers, so I'm sure they'd be tempted to move more in that direction.

I hear this a good bit because I am, of course mostly perfect. But can someone help me perfect my perfection by explaining why this isn't essentially saying, "Damn, you're right and I'm wrong"? I mean I get it when it's said with a certain haughty attitude but it's still a very lame rejoinder.

414 393, the derogatory slap with a glove in the face in court terms are summary reversals by a higher court. The Supreme Court and lower appellate courts need to do a lot more slapping of misbehaving lower courts which is primarily done by the leftist clones of Stephen Reinhardt--of Scotus can't catch them all fame. It sounds from recent revelations of his sexual harassment of staff that he was as awful in personal relations as his opinions which stank of his politics.

420 We don't allow thieves and bank robbers and embezzlers to keep what they steal, nor do we allow their children to keep what their criminal parents steal, because we don't want to be mean to kids.

Up 20% since January 1, or in the past 12 months? Suspect it's the latter, which is still great performance. If you're actually up 20% since Jan 1st, that's off the charts.Agree that anyone with anything invested hearing clowns like Warren and Sanders has to be thinking they're a nightmare.
