Amy Klobuchar essentially insulted supporters of President Donald Trump as those who fail a “patriotism check.” The Minnesota Democrat and 2020 presidential candidate touted herself as a fresh face in politics as she discussed her contrasting position to her 2020 rivals and Trump during a live “Morning Joe” appearance on MSNBC Monday. Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) over his vote in favor of the impeachment of President Donald Trump, the only Republican to do so. Others are far more supportive of the controversial impeachment vote that they say reflected Romney's firm dedication to his principles. A draft resolution calling on Romney to support the president's agenda or vacate his seat will be considered at the Republican Party state central committee meeting on February 29. What a low life carpet bagging sucking weasel. Every once in awhile a story comes along where you think, we have some good kids coming up. A high school principal told his students not to fly the US flag from their vehicles anymore when they drove to school — It was offensive. Still a prick and still unemployed, Colin Kaeperdick. Marijuana backers are upset with POTUS Trump. President Trump proposed ending an existing policy that protects state medical marijuana programs from Justice Department interference as part of his fiscal year 2021 budget plan released on Monday. The rider, which has been renewed in appropriations legislation every year since 2014, stipulates the the Justice Department can’t use its funds to prevent states or territories “from implementing their own laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of medical marijuana.” This isn’t the first time that an administration has requested that the rider be stricken. Trump’s last two budgets omitted the medical cannabis protections language, and President Obama similarly asked for the policy to be removed. In all cases, Congress has ignored those requests and renewed the protections in spending bills. If you want to hunt bok choy here's the guy............. Michael Moore Locked Out – Kept Waiting Outside of NH Dem Dinner Where He Was Invited Guest of Bernie Sanders Yeah, that was a cheap fat joke. Better late than never. Trump rids the NSC of 'Deep State' operatives. President Trump is making good on his promises to “drain the swamp” and cut Obama-era holdovers from his staffs, especially the critical and recently controversial National Security Council. Officials confirmed that Trump and national security adviser Robert O’Brien have cut 70 positions inherited from former President Barack Obama, who had fattened the staff to 200. Many were loaners from other agencies and have been sent back. Others left government work. The NSC, which is the president’s personal staff, was rocked when a “whistleblower” leveled charges that led to Trump’s impeachment.
There is a painter in the U.K. by the name of Dean Reeves. Don't f*ck with him. “I gave him a quote for the job and he said he would ‘ping me the money straight away’, but he tried to change the job halfway through,” Dean Reeves told SWNS. He changed the job, kept asking me to extra work. He said there was a number of jobs I needed to do before I would get paid. I did seven days hard work on it. I didn’t have lunch breaks, I worked hard all week to get it done. He kept saying, ‘I’ll pay you tomorrow,’ but tomorrow never came.” The painter added that his client, Terry Taylor, agreed to pay him the money he was owed if he agreed to give the back of the building another coat of paint. That wasn’t mentioned in their original agreement, but on January 14 he did it anyway. But when he asked Taylor when he would get paid, the was told that he wouldn’t receive a dime until he painted the fascias as well. That’s when Reeves realized that he was never getting paid the full fee, and decided to take revenge on his deceitful client. Screw it. Let the Palestinians move to Syria or Jordan or Detroit or some other hell hole. About 100 Democrats in the US House of Representatives sent a letter to US President Donald Trump on Thursday expressing their “strong disapproval” of his Mideast peace plan, the details of which were released on Jan. 28. The congressional members said the proposal will push the two sides towards additional conflict in that the plan gives the Jewish state a “license to violate international law” by annexing settlements in the West Bank, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Jewish Insider. I don't have a problem leaving. And according to National Interest we must leave Iraq as well. Something, something about international law. There is a very real danger of Iraq becoming the battleground for a fight between Iran and the US to which it is not a party. In a country already scarred by decades of conflict, Iraq urgently wants to avoid such a circumstance. As such, it’s now for the US to heed the country’s request and to withdraw its troops in line with its international obligations, and for both the US and Iran to avoid further escalating an already tense situation. It is up to the international community as a whole to ensure respect of the rule of law. But as the world’s most powerful nation, the US must demonstrate its willingness to comply with its responsibilities and uphold the ideals of international law. And while we are at it, get the hell out of Afghanistan as well. Two U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers who were killed when American and Afghan troops were fired on during a mission in Afghanistan were identified by the Pentagon on Sunday. The soldiers, both assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, were Sgt. 1st Class Javier Jaguar Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas and Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Rey Rodriguez of Las Cruces, N.M. When it comes to drugs use and possession, Mayor Buttplug is all over the place. Somewhat remarkable, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg said he would decriminalize all drugs, including heroin and meth. The openly gay, 37-year-old former mayor of South Bend, Ind., appeared Sunday on “Fox News Sunday” to boldly tout his risky plan. “The main thing we need to focus on is where you have distribution and the kind of harm that’s done there, where yeah, of course, it’s important that it remain illegal but — ” he began saying when asked about legalizing the highly dangerous drugs. Fox News host Chris Wallace interrupted to tell Buttigieg that he said it should not be illegal. “Possession,” the Democratic candidate clarified, “should not be dealt with through incarceration.” GOP-leaning independent voters in New Hampshire are receiving phone calls and texts from anti-Trump Republicans urging them to cross the aisle and vote in the Democratic primary on Tuesday, NHJournal has learned. The message is for these unaffiliated voters, who can vote in either party’s primary, to vote for a “responsible and electable” Democratic alternative to Donald Trump. National #NeverTrump leader Bill Kristol, founder of the conservative Weekly Standard magazine, confirmed to NHJournal that he is part of the effort, which involves tens of thousands of New Hampshire voter contacts and a six-figure budget. “Yup. I’m happy to have joined with some others to help remind New Hampshire independents, who might be accustomed to voting in the Republican primary, that this year, they may be able to make more of a difference by voting for a responsible and electable candidate in the Democratic primary,” Kristol said. Chaos erupted outside a popular Brooklyn brewery Friday night, when an apparently annoyed craft-beer hater pulled a gun on a long line of people who were waiting to buy the latest designer IPA, according to cops and online reports. No shots were fired during the squabble outside the Other Half Brewing Company in Carroll Gardens — and a suspect was being questioned Saturday, police said. The gun-slinging skeptic struck around the corner from the brewery, on Garnet Street, where beer lovers with camp chairs and hand trucks regularly line up overnight to buy limited-run, $18 four-packs in collectible cans, sold when the doors open Saturday mornings. But for many people, whose blindness originates beyond the retina, the technology falls short. Which is why new research out of Spain skips the eye entirely, instead sending signals straight to the brain’s visual cortex. Amazingly, 15 years after losing her sight, Bernardeta Gómez, who suffers from toxic optic neuropathy, used the experimental technology to recognize lights, letters, shapes, people—and even to play a basic video game sent directly to her brain via an implant. According to MIT Technology Review, Gómez first began working with researchers in late 2018. Over the next six months, she spent four days a week dialing in the technology’s settings and testing its limits. The snow on my street isn't going anywhere until April Posted by: hogmartin at February 10, 2020 10:07 PM (t+qrx) Eh. spring is fleeting in CO, as well as most of the Rocky Mountains. Last summer me and the Missus took a drive over the hill to the Meeker/Craig area. the weekend after Independence Day, mind you, and we saw six inches of fresh snow at Cameron Pass and Rabbit Ears Pass. It was 58 in Steamboat, and a balmy 54 in Meeker. so we decided right then and there that this is where we want to retire. Western Colorado is the Wyoming part of Colorado. Much like. gives the Jewish state a "license to violate international law" by annexing settlements in the West Bank
There's a funny subtext to this. To compensate for Israel annexing settlements on the West Bank, Trump's plan proposes transferring an Arab area in Israel adjacent to the West Bank to the Palestinian Authority. The residents of the area are screaming bloody murder about this proposal, of course. I would too, if I were told that I would cease being a citizen of the State of Israel, and would instead be a citizen of the dysfunctional, corrupt Palestinian Authority. One slight problem - the Arabs in this area, like Arabs elsewhere in Israel, mostly vote for pro-Hamas, pro-Hezbollah Arab legislators, who refuse to accept the legitimacy of the State of Israel. Here's a clue: if you don't want to be bargained away in a peace settlement, perhaps you should start voting for legislators who represent Arab interests, while accepting the underlying legitimacy of the State of Israel. Namely, is it worth dropping 2000lb bombs, in mass, on our enemies territory destroying their cities and infrastructure? No? Then it isn't worth one GI's life either. Yes? Ok, let's bomb them for a few weeks first and see if they come to their senses.... I know someone who started with the Bloomberg campaign this week. She was told that she had a job until November, because if he was not the nominee, the campaign finance laws allow him to "loan" his staff to the nominee as long as he suspends, but doesn't end, his campaign. They are paid better than their counterparts on other campaigns. He really has money to burn.

Posted by: RickZ at February 10, 2020 10:31 PM (Y8PSl) I think that in an earlier post Carpe Donktum said that he thought that Biden is the embodiment of what the Dems thought Trump is. That's true, except for the part that Trump would throw out the Constitution to give himself a third term, if given the chance. Bloomberg is literally that person. NYC had a law, passed by the City Council, that outlawed anything after a second term. He liked that idea so much, he forced Giuliani to step down on schedule after 9/11, even after Rudy suggested that he stay on a few weeks after his term ended to give a smooth transition to Bloomy. When his chance for a third term came up, he was stymied by that pesky law. Solution: have a 'talk' with Leonard Lauder, the billionaire that championed the term limit measure in the first place. Then, have a 'talk' with the City Council that passed that measure the first time, and then offered the Speaker, Christine Quinn, his 'support' after she left the Speakership. This guy is an autocrat. Instead of shooting dissenters, he simply buys them off. The Constitution would be toast if this guy was anywhere close to the levers of power. One of the reasons why I'm starting to feel some hope that the coronavirus can be stopped before it becomes a worldwide pandemic is that Russia so far only has two cases in Siberia (both Chinese citizens). Russia has a really long border with China, and although Russia has closed the border crossing points, you'd think that there would be more coronavirus cases in Russia by this point if it was as infectious as the flu.
Everyone flying into Russia from anywhere has to wait on the plane until their temperature is checked (this happened to me flying into Russia during a prior flu epidemic). Also, people's temperatures are checked now before they are allowed to get close to Putin. Best of all, a senior Chinese diplomat flew into Moscow to take a post at the Chinese embassy in Moscow, and the Russians welcomed him by throwing him into quarantine. Nobody is going to be allowed to interact with senior Russian officials until he has been cleared. Posted by: The ARC of History! at February 10, 2020 10:55 PM (I2/tG) 275

September 1, 1939 for Europe, December 7, 1941 for America but with Asia, it started with the Japanese invading Manchuria in 1931. (The Japanese invasion of Manchuria directly led to the demise of The League of Nations, so there's that.) People forget the USS Panay sinking in 1937 on the Yangtze River by the Japanese. The Rape of Nanking occurred in Dec. '37 through Jan. '38. WWII started a lot earlier than most people, specifically Americans, credit. SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON)
County officials have extended their declaration of a local health emergency in Santa Clara County due to the coronavirus outbreak. The declaration helps ensure that the county is prepared to respond effectively to the outbreak and allows them to receive mutual aid resources from the state of California and other jurisdictions. A local health emergency was first declared on Feb. 3 in Santa Clara County. On Monday, the County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors was asked to ratify and extend the declaration for 30 days. The resolution was passed unanimously. Two people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Santa Clara County, a county of about two million residents. The two cases are not related and the county says there is no evidence that there is a person to person spread of the new virus in the county. Both patients, a man and a woman, recently traveled to Wuhan, China and have stayed home since returning to the U.S. except to seek medical attention. The first patient is a Santa Clara County resident who had returned home from China on January 24. He traveled through San Jose airport, officials said. The county said he came into contact with "very few" people since returning to the U.S. from China and has been "self-isolating." The second infected person is a visitor of Santa Clara County and traveled through SFO on January 23 to visit family. The woman has stayed home since she arrived and has been regularly monitored, with officials adding she has not been sick enough to be hospitalized. Family members of the infected woman have also been quarantined. Officials said at this time the risk to the general public remains low and everyone should continue to go about their regular activities and practice good health hygiene as it is the height of flu season. If you have respiratory systems such as a cough, sore throat or fever, it's advised you stay home, wash your hands thoroughly, and limit contact with others. Santa Clara County borders San Benito County, where a husband and wife also tested positive for the coronavirus. Officials said the husband recently traveled from Wuhan, China. The wife did not, making this a person-to-person transmission. The new virus has infected more than 40,000 people globally and killed over 900, with the vast majority of cases in China. The war didn't end in 1945 either, depending on how
you look at it, in some ways. Rationing didn't end completely in Great Britain until 1954. I saw a picture of the food ration for the Brits, it showed a small stick of butter, a couple slices of bacon, some tea, and sugar, and a single egg, etc. It didn't look too bad, except, the caption said "For the week". Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at February 10, 2020 11:06 PM (sy5kK) You know, I only semi believed that shit was real until I saw some of them. There was this one party I'll never forget. It was a huge expensive house, and there were candy dishes of cocaine in a few rooms. And there was a room with a sliding door that went out to a hot tub, and the room itself had white sheets on the floor, and people were literally jumping into a hot tub, and then would roll on the sheets that had cocaine sprinkled all over them. A few were chicks that stripped balls ass naked. I didn't indulge in that. I just poked my head in to see what was going on and said holy fuck, and went back to where the booze and bongs were. That was debauchery on a level I didn't think existed. I'll never forget that. Posted by: Berserker-Dragonheads Division at February 10, 2020 11:18 PM (9Om/r) 343

After a quite respectable dinner of baked salmon, broccoli and mac n' cheese, he was sleepy, so I left him around 7 pm.
He just called me to say he woke up around 11 and had to pee like a racehorse, but nothing would come out, so they had to catheterize him. He filled a 1.8 liter bag plus change. Impressive! That hospital is luxurious!

There's money to be made in motorhome conversion of Google Buses. BIL has a new SWB 4x4 Sprinter sleepy-thing being built, it'll sleep four but by no means luxury. I DVR a lot of stuff, and don't necessarily watch it. Often I'll just cancel it after a few days, if it is news oriented.
But cleaning up last week's recordings, I watched Jesse Waters - Waters World. He was reviewing the Democrats terrible week last week. Particularly obvious was the terrible attitude of the CNN and NBC reporters telling us that there were 225,000 new jobs instead of the 110,000 expected. The look on their faces, and the tone in their voice sounded like their dog died and their spouse cleaned out the bank account and disappeared. It was really something to witness. The scuttlebutt around the office has been the story of the virus escaping the lab in Wuhan. We have discussed this for over a week now, so it is no surprise that congress critters have gotten the drift.
From whence the story came is a mystery, like most scuttlebutt, but this is from a military source, so there's that. I suspect that the more China denies it, the more true it is. I also suspect that they know precisely how it started and will stonewall until everyone goes away, one way or another. While I normally believe that conspiracy theories rely on governmental employees needing to have more sense than they have, in this case it was a complete cockup, so easily attributable to government intervension. Be Thou My Vision Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one. Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight; Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight; Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower: Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power. Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise, Thou mine Inheritance, now and always: Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art. I think if they went on a completely neutral stand and did nothing but straight up even-handed journalism for six months it would be dangerous. In that time they stockpile their evil half truths and lies and give America a full up broadside every night in the two months before the election.

Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at February 11, 2020 01:10 AM (LxWV7) Thanks to its one child policy, China has too many men and not enough women which causes instability and frustration (pun intended) in the masses. Short of a conventional war, a virus to target their own reduces the population and makes it easier to control. The virus got out right around the time the Hong Kong protests were getting sporty. The virus would be one way to tamp down those protests -- legitimately in the eyes of the vaunted 'international community'. Stupidity as an explanation only goes so far in a communist country. Evil also has to be factored in. Because, like Democrats here, the ChiComs fear losing power and will do anything to keep it. Posted by: RickZ at February 11, 2020 01:19 AM (Y8PSl) 645

ONE wall of 1/2" sheetrock, which is such on both sides of the framing. Baby on the other side of that wall might get welts, but that's about it. MANY more pellets in the shell. More than 150, in fact. And will go absolutely Cuisinart on whatever finds itself in the pattern. Pro-Tip. Learn how to "pattern" a shotgun. It involves rather large swatches of paper affixed "downrange". At indoor ranges, that BB High Brass round will actually do far more damage than 00 Buck. Your friendly neighborhood ER doc can likely dig out and mend the wounds from 9 pellets of 00 Buck. Presuming your shot hit with all nine. But with over 150 pellets of BB? Okay, so you only tagged him with 1/3 of the pattern. That's fifty wound channels, most over 10" deep. Dying of shock before bleeding out is a real possibility here. Video: Biden responds to an obvious staged question concerning plastic. He says we need to get rid of all plastic and that plastic bottles need to sold as deposit bottle so you will have to bring them back. And all because of the fake global warming scam. I say the entire population of Washington DC should collect all their plastic bottles and dump them on Biden's lawn. 695 Good Morning Morons today is Tuesday, February 11, 2020. On this date in 1812 Massachusetts governor Elbridge Gerry was accused of "gerrymandering" by a newspaper. This is where the term originated.
Posted by: Vic You left out the second half of the etiology: The ridiculously-shaped district he created in Massachusetts was thought to resemble a salamander, so a newspaper hired an artist to draw a "map" of the district and make it look like a salamander, accompanied by a humorous political column combining the name of the governor -- "Gerry" -- with the word "salamander," to coin "gerrymander," meaning "to create an artificially distorted voting district so as to give your party an advantage." Loved the linked article about the Tuskegee airman and new Brigadier General Charles McGee. He has some good advice in that article, and given the fact that his father was a minister I expect faith played an important part in his life. Of course not all children of ministers maintain their religious faith, but given his age I expect Charles McGee has.

Somewhat remarkable, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete
Buttigieg said he would decriminalize all drugs, including heroin and meth. Well, we already knew that the dems will make the entire country like that shithole San Francisco. A huge proportion of those homeless people living in tents are junkies. The democrats want to make it easier to be a junkie living in a tent and crapping on the sidewalk. -- Oh, and don't forget. Scum like that Boudin character also made it illegal to charge those who crap in the streets. It's a "quality of life" thing, and you can't possibly hold the street crappers accountable for living like actual human beings and not risking transmitting all kinds of horrible diseases through mile high piles of crap.
