Surprise: Adam Schiff Misrepresented Evidence In Senate Trial's Opening
I don't think any of us saw this coming.
In a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York, lead House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff likely mischaracterized evidence from former Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas. Schiff, who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, sent a letter to Nadler last week summarizing evidence put forward by Parnas, who has been indicted for fraud, claiming that Parnas "continued to try to arrange a meeting with President Zelensky." The text message from Parnas to Giuliani reads "trying to get us Mr. Z..." with the rest of the text contained in Schiff's letter redacted.Meanwhile, the public has gotten wise to Adam Schiff's co-conspirator, the media. A new poll says that 55% call the media "corrupt" and say it "exaggerates the news."
Documents reviewed by Politico show that "Mr. Z," however, probably referred to Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, on whose board Hunter Biden once served while raking in $50,000 a month despite no prior experience in the industry. Politico reports that "an unredacted version of the exchange shows that several days later, Parnas sent Giuliani a word document that appears to show notes from an interview with Mykola Zlochevsky... followed by a text message to Giuliani that states ‘mr Z answers my brother.'" Therefore, Parnas was likely referring to Zlechevsky, not Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in the exchange.
"The repetitive programming on networks and websites and the emphasis of the media to pump the news cycle with the same stories can create burnout, causing many to question the overall quality of the news," said the survey analysis.The media freaked out on November 8, 2016, and it hasn't stopped freaking out since. It's been having a literal mental event since then, and is making all of its programming choices to entice those suffering the same mental event. They're monetizing mental illness.

2) they don't understand that Schiff doesn't actually have any.
3) they don't know that someone standing up and swearing that he has stuff, but he can't produce it, is not "Evidence".
4) they don't understand that Courts actually deal with this thing all the time, which is why we have rules about "Evidence."
5) they can't acknowledge that faking "evidence" is at the heart of every attempted bit of judicial corruption in recorded history.
6) they won't accept that this is why it's the Prosecution that has to produce actual Evidence, not Allegations.
7) They also won't accept the fundamental rule of all jurisprudence in the English speaking world; if the Prosecution cannot prove it's case using hard, verified evidence, then the Defendant is automatically judged to be Not Guilty. The Defendant is never required to prove a thing.

But here, because of the speech and debate clause, Shiff and Nadless can lie all they want, with no sanctions.
However, if one of the President's attorneys were to lie, they could be sanctioned under the lying to Congress statutes.
When one side can lie, and one side can't, there's a problem.

It's not Trump being removed that will get everyone upset. It's what they'll do after.
And remember if Trump is out then Pence is in unless they pull something on him. Then the fur will fly.
We're at a tension point that I think we've never been at before.
And frankly, one guy shooting another is not something worth starting a revolution. (depending on the guy of course)
However if the Dems get froggy and decide they can do whatever they want and step out then they may find trouble.
Thing to keep in mind; everyone has to weigh is taking action worth losing a family, a job, a home. If the action being weighed is enough of a personal threat then the decision becomes easier.

The main road into Cape May is the GSP. Delsea Drive (Rt47) is a local convenience. The road construction story is being exagerrated. The only reasonable time to do road construction at the shore is in the winter months.

I don't mind going deep into enemy territory, but I agree I would rather spend time in places like Maine, NH Minnesota over NJ. If he can flip those 3 "blue states", he's President, he doesn't need to tilt at windmills.
But maybe the idea there is to expand the map, make Dems spend money in NJ, etc.
Had 3 points flipped in 2004, Bush would won NJ.

Normally, people's names are redacted for their protection. What harm could come to Zelensky, a public figure, from having it come to light that someone was trying to talk to him and not having much luck arranging a meeting? I'm sure this is an everyday occurrence for a head of state.
