He also calls upon the press to take an interest. Good luck trying to get the Iranian Proxy Media to do something that Ben Rhodes hasn't instructed them to do. Those tweets below. Meanwhile, the pro-Iran, terror-curious Democrat Party refuses to merely praise the US military for having expeditiously taken care of Suleimani.The resolution is structurally identical to the 2011 Senate resolution praising former president Barack Obama for the operation that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. At that time, all 100 Democratic and Republican members of the Senate joined to support that resolution. But that is not the case with President Donald Trump's operation to kill Soleimani. No Senate Democrat has voiced support for the resolution.
I urge the press and Congress to excavate that correspondence. I challenge former senior Obama officials — Susan Rice, John Brennan, John Kerry, Ash Carter and President Obama himself — to divulge all they know about the Soleimani messages and agree to have them declassified.

Okay, not exactly but Outside came Inside at work.
Our office closes at noon today and for once I, Boss, and co-worker were all leaving at noon (usually Boss skives out at like 11:30). Boss was talking to co-worker when I heard scratch scratch scratch over by the windows.
And there was a squirrel. INSIDE.
I screamed bloody murder, they came running, squirrel took off running all over the place, and it was mayhem.
Boss grabbed a broom to try to herd the thing Outside, I was closing doors and co-worker was trying to block the way into the rest of the office.
Squirrel went up the frame of the window and WHAM.
The hawk that lives in the backyard slammed right into the window trying to get the tree rat. Hawk was fine, I saw him fly up to the roof.
Squirrel ran into another room, Boss and I tried to shoo him towards the door, co-worker Brave Sir Robin'd it out of there, and then Boss got a call on his cell.
By the time he was done with the call, no squirrel anywhere. We decided it went up the chimney and left.
So. Yes. There was a squirrel inside at work today.

Every single article was other than the one in WaPo was based on reporting what the WaPo article said.
The article in WaPo was written by Devlin Fusion GPS Barrett, the number one source for leaks from Team Coup before and after the election.
A couple weeks before the Horowitz delivered his report Barrett wrote a similar article saying that the IG report was going to be a big nothing burger and a surprising number of people bought it and started the narrative that it was in fact a nothing burger. Perhaps you noticed.
And then when the report dropped it was anything but a nothing burger with the entire senior team of the FBI being recommended to Durham.
Barrett and team have only been doing this shit since the start of the Russia hoax, narrative building. You'd think people would have caught on by now. Maybe Huber will find nothing to prosecute but basing your beliefs on what Devlin Barrett says seems pretty odd.

I work in a 150+ year old Victorian house that was converted to offices back in the late 70's. This is right on the corner of going into downtown and Boss owns most of that corner so we still have a small backyard with pretty large trees in it. The hawk moved in a few months ago and every so often when I leave for work, I'll see the hawk engaging in the circle of life with whatever he's caught. It's really cool.

Iraq and Syria are broken. No other Arab power has the actual ability to stabilize the region.
Who's that leave as possibilities? Turkey?
The other alternatives are to:
(1) maintain a military presence at some level or another and nation build; or
(2) abandon the region altogether, in which event Iran likely steps in on its own.
Most people here probably prefer some version of (1), despite its indefinite character. But does anyone actually like any of these options?

There was a deer that went through the backyard at work and that was startling because the bypass runs right in front of our building. There is a park about a mile down the road so we figure it came from there.
The wildest thing was the day I looked out and there was a wild turkey. Big old tom turkey too.
It is nice having a bit of nature right at work SO LONG AS IT STAYS OUTSIDE. Ahem.
The hawk was in a tree as I was leaving work and he was all puffed up since it's cool and rainy today. I tried to get some pictures but he heard me moving and took off.

If that's his gambit, I can't fault the man for trying given the situation he has inherited. But it's a solution with its own problems. It's likely to be unstable because the Arabs hate the Jews and can never be trusted in that regard. And while there are four names in that alliance, the only one that matters is Israel, which could wipe the floor with all those countries combined. There are limits to how much we can accomplish with a de facto Israeli alliance because the only thing the rest of the region agrees on is "death to the Jews." Like a lot in life, I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

I am fond of cryptozoology. There is a large manmade lake about an hour away and people keep saying there is some weird large creature in it. Given that the lake is manmade, either someone is stocking large fish or, as is likely, it's gators and no one wants to admit it.
