Rudy Giuliani Alleges That Fired Ambassador "Masha" Yovanovich Blocked Probe Into Money-Laundering Operation

The entire media is calling this a "conspiracy theory," which confuses me-- when a Democrat oppo research group shit out an actual conspiracy theory, they insisted on three years of investigation, including illegal surveillance of US citizens, to try to verify it.

But this, they know, on first sight, without any actual investigation, is a "conspiracy theory" unworthy of further consideration.

In addition to being the most virtuous, most intelligent, and most educated humans who ever lived on the earth, it also turns out that our Media-Democrat Complex is skilled in using psychic powers such as precognition.

Rudy Giuliani has revealed some of what he discovered on his trip to the Ukraine, unraveling a conspiracy theory alleging the U.S. Embassy – led by then-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch – 'quashed' efforts by Kiev to end a corruption investigation into the disappearance of foreign aid because it was going to a non-governmental organization run by billionaire George Soros.

...

The former New York City mayor described how he discovered that back in 2017 an organization he called the 'Ukrainian accounting authority' did a study, found $5.3 billion in foreign aid missing and attempted to investigate it.

He claimed the U.S. - then under the Obama administration - moved to 'quash' the probe.

'All of the sudden, members of the American Embassy, under control of Marie Yovanovitch, I call her Saint Marie Yovanovitch, come and tell them [the Ukrainians] – come and tell them – 'there's no need to do this, we're okay with the spending.'

He added: 'It comes down from the top not to investigate.'

Meanwhile, alleged reporter Chris Wallace is demanding that no actual investigation be done.

"I know there were separation of power issues there," Wallace said. "But does President Trump still believe that it was Ukraine, not Russia, that interfered in the 2016 election."

Short said, "It doesn't have to be an either/or. It can be both."

...

"Does the president believe that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election?" Wallace asked.

"He thinks we should at least investigate it, Chris," Short said. "It seemed like we could never get enough investigation of foreign interference in our elections for three years, but as soon as the president asks for it, it’s like, 'Hey, we must impeach him.'"

Wallace said, "Well, that's not why it happened."

He brought up the U.S. intel agencies' assessment about Russian election interference, along with what Fiona Hill said about Ukraine interference claims being "Kremlin disinformation,"

Oh, a single person claimed otherwise.

How does Chris Wallace know which single sources to put all of his trust in, and which to disregard as "conspiracy theorizing"?

There are those psychic powers again.

"So why does the president still think it's still worth investigating whether Ukraine did something?" Wallace asked.

By the way, we know for a fact that Ukraine interfered in the election -- Ukranian officials leaked dirt on Manafort for the express purpose of derailing Trump's campaign.

Is it not "interference" if liberals like Chrissy Wallace like the interference?

That seems to be the unstated premise.

The easiest thing to counter this is to simply ask, "Who released in the information on Manafort after Trump had hired him?"

Yes indeed, that is precisely what it means. If interference helps the State/Media Complex, it shall not be investigated because it is beneficial and therefore good and honorable.

If interference hinders the State/Media Complex, it must be investigated forever and at all costs because is harmful, bad, and despicable.

19 How is this a conspiracy theory?

It is an allegation and one that Rudy is claiming he has evidence to support.

Okay, put up or shut up. But it's not a conspiracy theory.

Remember, once you realize that the press and the Dems and the Never Trumpers (let's call them The Blob) do not accept that Donald Trump is the actual President, all of this makes sense.

Since he's not actually President, then, no, he doesn't have the rights and privileges of the Presidency and thus he can't possibly be acting on behalf of the United States but only for his own benefit.

They reject utterly his statements that he is doing this so that it never happens to another President because he's not one so he doesn't count.

It's stupid, but consistent.

33 Ukraine was one of the key money laundering operations for the Clinton Foundation and all of its patrons. Trump is threatening the uni-party's graft. They don't come to Washington out of the goodness of their hearts. They come to make and keep their families rich for generations. Trump would have let them have it too, if they had let him be President. But that ship sailed. He's trying to burn it all down now, and they're hitting every panic button they have.

Now that Giuliani has new evidence, Nancy can NEVER deliver the articles of impeachment to the Senate. If there is a trial, Trump will want Giuliani as a witness. Then a world of shit hits an epic fan.

If there are no conspiracies, why are there RICO statutes? Why are there laws about aiding and abetting? Price fixing? Insider trading? Etc., etc., etc.

For that matter, if there are no conspiracies, why do we even need a FBI, SEC, CIA or asubstantial chunks of a few other bureaucracies?

I get it, everyone that hurls the "Conspiracy Theory" slur really thinks we should just close down several bureaucracies and eliminate a large body of law. That's it. Sure. Absolutely.

This entire thing is absurdity taken to the nth degree. The populist uprising that got Trump elected in 2016 has also been seen in dozens of other countries around the world, and in countless other ways -- none of which were created by or influenced by "Russia" or "Ukraine."

Trump's election is merely one example of a global and historical pattern that is widespread. There is no need for a bizarre conspiracy theory that this one exemplar is populism was fake, while all the others were real.

If Trump's populist victory was unique and going against a trend, then maybe they're even have a starting point for their theory, But it wasn't.

That's the codeword: "The Turtle Is Buckjling." Means that it's time for hardened types to prepare for action.
"Buckjling" is a term used to describe a swimming turtle's attack on a frog. Those familiar with turtles and frogs have seen it: The turtle grabs the swimming frog's leg from under him, and then rakes his turtle-claws through the frog's belly, opening it. Devouring then occurs.

83 Bow many of you here felt "influenced" by Russia or Ukraine in 2016? Anyone? Bueller?

This entire thing is absurdity taken to the nth degree. The populist uprising that got Trump elected in 2016 has also been seen in dozens of other countries around the world, and in countless other ways -- none of which were created by or influenced by "Russia" or "Ukraine."

Here's my question: how EXACTLY did Russia/ Ukraine/ Derkaderkastan/ Wakanda influence our election?

I see vague allegations of such, but as a practical matter, what exactly could or did they do to affect the outcome materially? "Hacking the election" suggests messing with the count, which a) is obviously nonsense, and b) is the Democrat stock-in-trade. Maybe that's why the Democrats are upset: they don't want the competition.

I'm calling them troops because most of them were not wearing identifiable law enforcement uniforms. This was an example of extreme overkill. I don't have all the details down, but the newspaper reported that a neighbor found a bullet in her house and called the police.
Anyway, I always used to wonder when these discussions came up: The government always will enjoy the advantage of superior hardware. 136 Not for nothing but I've been saying for a long time that Ukraine was the key to this whole thing. It was a huge money laundering operation for US politicians and foreign politicians as well.

Billions of foreign aid from the IMF and individual governments also flowed to Ukraine with a lot of the money ending up in the UK and still more flowing through places like Estonia, Latvia and other garden spots were it could be further laundered before ending up in the accounts of politicians who had helped send it to Ukraine to begin with.

The Ukraine revolution of 2014 was not a revolution. It was a carefully engineered coup intended to install a more pro-western government that could be controlled by DC and like minded foreign pols.

It's not a conspiracy theory if it happens to be true.

Well, what you had there was all the power of weaponized government directed against one lone wolf, who was maybe a bit of an outsider to the local community. None of his neighbors like him well enough to put their life on the line to protect him.

When the weaponized government starts going after an organized resistance, things will be different. Look at what happened in Mexico recently, when the government had to abandon an Army operation against one of the cartels because the cartel took captives amongst the soldiers' families.

Why would they need that in our average little town?

I don't like that this equipment is stored away somewhere just waiting for GO sign. If they went full metal on that poor guy who has had issues for years and that should have been addressed by local police, and his family, if any still exist - what the living fuck is going to be deployed against an actual militia, if that circumstance ever occurs?

Look, I have no idea how this will go down; I'm just fairly certain that if this goes pear-shaped people are not going to sit-around waiting for Government Tanks to roll-u on them.

Remember, a relative handful of protesters armed with little more than bows, arrows, and some spears held the Chinese Government at bay for weeks. There are roughly 70-80 million Americans who own between 325-350 million firearms in the USA, the Government's Troops are not nearly as large and a contingent of them (not a majority, by any stretch of the imagination, but substantial) will be on Team BugOut. It's a biiiiiig country and once the rules are off for Team Government they are off for Team BugOut as well.

It's a numbers game in the macro sense, but as long as the population is fat and happy (enough) the government will always win. This guy, bad or not, is singled out and the neighbors and local population assume that they had good reason to do so. They didn't come to his defense. As long as the government continues to do that, normies will continue to think that wrongs are rare and can be settled in the courts, and in fact will support the use of overwhelming force to take out "perps". After all, we want those LEO's home safe and secure at the end of the day.

All that goes out the window if it becomes clear that the government considers the population itself to be an enemy force to be quelled.

tl;dr
there's more of us than there are of them.

Even that fails. Even if it weren't corrupt (it is), foreign aid does a lot of damage.

Foreign aid, if any, should be limited to acute crises. Anything else does more harm than good, especially agricultural aid.

Why buy from your own farmers when USAID is giving it away just down the village lane?

Longer-term foreign aid, even if well administered, prevents economic development and independence.

If you are in a situation where the government knows and wants you as an individual gone, you're right. You don't stand much chance.
But the government can't know and want several million people gone with that same intensity all at once.

There's a reason our troops were still being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan 15 years after we nominally "won." Insurgencies win by destroying the will of the occupying force, not by objectively beating them in battle.

199 Here's another Ukraine conspiracy theory that happens to also be true.

A lot of people including western pols were getting rich buying gas in the EU, marking it up with large price hikes and then selling it to Ukraine.

This came about because of the long running disagreement between Russia and Ukraine over pipeline transit costs through Ukraine for Russian oil and gas products and the discounts Ukraine would receive.

This led to the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that was being laid from Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea. The Russians were doing this to bypass Ukraine altogether and send the products directly to the EU by way of Germany.

Trump has been objecting to this since he took office because it would rob Ukraine of billions in annual transit fees, money they desperately need, and it would give Russia enormous leverage over the EU. The very same EU that whines about the US needing to do more to support NATO which was designed to protect Western Europe from an expansionist Russia while the EU countries don't even meet their basic requirements for NATO participation.

The new Defense bill Trump signed last week called for sanctions on any company participating on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. On Saturday, Allseas, a Swiss construction company that was leading the Nord Stream 2 work stopped all construction because of the sanctions.

Trump's biggest "crime" is that he wasn't bought before he announced he was running, and can't be bought now, by Soros, the Progs, the Unions, the GOPe, and on and on. Those outfits have no way to directly influence or control him, and it terrifies them. The usual attacks against a US politician - he's owned by the teachers unions, or Planned Parenthood, or Wall Street, or Big Oil - don't work. So the Dems resorted to saying he's owned by Putin, an accusation that's difficult for Trump to disprove (proving the negative).

One of the chief beneficiaries of Ukraine political donations was Senator Ed Markey of MA. AOC got most of the publicity but Markey is largely responsible for the New Green Deal idiocy.

And yet he was a big proponent of not just foreign aid to Ukraine but aid specifically targeted to plans and companies supposedly working on Ukraine domestic oil and gas development.

Mr New Green Deal fully supports Ukraine developing their oil and gas industry. He just doesn't want us to do it.

269 We are allowing Antifa to put on masks and beat citizens senseless for the crime of taking a wrong turn on a Portland street and impinging on an Antifa mob. It is illegal to prance around the streets in masks never mind the violence and mayhem, yet, Antifa does it with near perfect impunity.

Antifa was allowed to shoot at an occupied car, after carrying their concealed firearms into a bar.

In Portland.

272 Well Rudy was right about Cloward -Piven and he was sounding the alarm for quite a long time.

From back in 2008 the American Thinker article:

https://tinyurl.com/tdok6l5

The vast expansion of welfare in New York City that came after the NWRO's Cloward-Piven tactics sent the city into bankruptcy in 1975. RUDY GIULIANI cited Cloward-Piven by name as being responsible for an "effort at economic sabotage." He also credited Cloward-Piven with changing the cultural attitude toward welfare from that of a temporary expedient to a lifetime entitlement, an attitude which in-and-of itself has caused perhaps the greatest damage of all.

275 I don't understand how - in real life terms - an armed population can
win over a government that is equipped with military hardware.

***

In order to function, a government has to present order. Which means having people who are part of the government out in public - police, soldiers, at least local level politicians/bureaucrats if not higher level ones (they can hide behind walls).

A resistance movement doesn't have to have ANY regular public appearance.

This dichotomy means that the resistance movement can hide until it has a government target it wants...and then kill/kidnap that person.

So if you look at the early stages of a bunch of those dirty wars in Latin America, the resistance starts killing cops, soldiers, mayors, etc. The resistance doesn't need the level of military might the government has - compare Castro's forces with Batista's in 1952..but it does have to have a commitment to be willing to kill and die for its cause or leader...

282 Anyway, I always used to wonder when these discussions came up: The government always will enjoy the advantage of superior hardware. The only thing we have in our favor now is a friendly Presidential Administration. I don't understand how - in real life terms - an armed population can win over a government that is equipped with military hardware.
Posted by: kallisto at December 23, 2019 01:29 PM

In a straight up fight, yes, the government has the advantage. But the problem is that they cannot be everywhere at once. There aren't enough tanks to put one in every town, let alone enough to do any good, or enough troops to pacify the whole country. And a lot of that technological advantage that the government has relies on an infrastructure that won't exist.

It's hard to move your tanks and vehicles when fuel supplies are blown up. It's hard to conduct constant air operations when your runways are being mortared and rocketed on a daily basis. It's hard to conduct any operations when your personnel are at risk from a sniper or an ambush. We saw this day in and day out in Afghanistan and Iraq. It would be ten times worse here, in a country where your average state U engineering department could build plans for advanced anti-tank weapons and plenty of people keep what amounts to advanced machine shops in their garages.

300 My theory is that Russia was just trying to f--k s--t up. The little intervening they did was only to make the county ungovernable for Hillary.

Ukraine meanwhile sees the US as a necessary counter to Russia and was desperate to do whatever TFG people wanted. They needed the cash, but also they needed the backing since the EU (Germany) kicked them under the bus long ago. This meant lots of kickbacks to TFGs crew, as well as the NGOs TFG wanted to fund. It also meant using whatever they had to make sure Hillary won since she was already bought and DJT was at best an unknown, but possibly even hostile to foreign entanglements.

So Ukraine was actually the country intervening, and being Ukrainian, behind every rock they saw a Russian. They were trying to help their friends in the TFG crime syndicate by supporting the whole "collusion" story.
