Trump Surging in Polls in Three Battleground States, as Impeachment Seems to be Damaging Biden and the Democrats

I think Trump should thank David Frum, John Podhoretz, David French, the Dispatch, the Bulwark, National Review et al. when he cruises -- ahoy! -- to reelection with 350 electoral votes.

Quarterly polling by the Republican firm Firehouse Strategies, with Optimus, had President Trump struggling in the mega-battlegrounds of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- but in the newest edition, he beats every Democrat.
The big picture: Trump won by an average of six percentage points in hypothetical match-ups against all current Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden, who was performing well in head-to-head contests against Trump in polling conducted earlier in the year.
The poll found that a majority of likely 2020 voters surveyed do not support impeaching and removing Trump from office.

So far they haven't even pretended to address issues in these states. College tuition debt isn't a big thing compared to jobs. And I would bet that Trump didn't get 100 percent of the ex-Dem blue collar vote in 2016 in these or any state so his starting spot is somewhat ahead of election day 2016.

When that happens, I'm signing up for everything, EVERYTHING. Food stamps, medicare, ACA, Social Security, Wifi, Obamaphone, every single freebie and giveaway there is.

I qualify. I'm very poor with awful health, and getting old. I don't sign up now because I believe they are morally wrong and dishonorable. But at that point, its no longer a matter of choice, but survival, and I'm not going to sit by a and let the goodies stream by me without taking part. At that point it becomes my duty as an American to hasten the collapse by taking part.

When I was growing up, the intelligence (and counter-intelligence) functions at least ostensibly sought to protect the interests of the United States. With this 2016 effort, it's clear that there is a faction within the intelligence services that are looking out for certain Democrat Party interests, over the interests of the United States.

Seems like a pretty straight forward compromise of the intelligence agencies.

At the very least, one would think there would be an assessment of guys like Comey. If Comey was off on a political adventure using CIA resources, and potentially breaking the law doing so, or if he lied to Congress or committed or is suspected of committing any criminal act by Durham, shouldn't THAT warrant a full-blown damage assessment within the CIA? I mean, if a drug problem or an affair is enough of a transgression to warrant such a review (i.e., material that could be used as blackmail), shouldn't off-book CIA adventures, lying to Congress and other criminal acts warrant the same?

CIA and FBI, all as "smart" as they constantly tell us they are, won't undertake such a review -- CLEARLY -- because they "can't handle the truth," and they know it. They don't WANT to know the answer to these questions. Yet, the questions are there, plain as day.

Mostly elderly folks at the trailer park (not one of those meth places, very nice and tidy). Looking back at me as a cute lil' ten year old boy I can see why they were always so nice to me.

It was a great job in the summer, the newspaper was an afternoon delivery... except on the weekends when it was mornings and that sucked a lot. I finally got hit by a car and knocked off my bicycle because I was half asleep. Papers flying everywhere. Probably looked hilarious but the driver was traumatized. I was just bruised up but I gave up the job.

So she said she would pay him $5 for each hole he dug in her garden for her new rosebushes.

It's true. We've got a Great Betrayal coming our way. The corporate wing of the Establishment, which owned Paul Ryan and speaks through the NeverTrumper 'TruCons', hates the President even more than the Democrats do, if that's possible. Some of them, I think, view authoritarian socialism as inevitable and want a place at the table when it comes about.
