Relatedly -- pretty sure these two beauts have each other on speed-dial -- Adam Schiff is described as a "complete liar" by one of his fellow congressmen, Representative Jason Smith. Adam Schiff is a complete liar. And for me to say that for a colleague that I serve with is very extreme. That's why I support him being censured. I mean, the guy should be removed as the Intelligence Chairman. He started out in the last public hearing completely falsifying the transcript of the President’s conversation with the Ukrainian President. He's a phony, he's a fake, and he’s a liar. He started with the Mueller Report and he's doing it now. He's a disgrace to all members of Congress. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

In 2010 the lefty rag New Republic wrote an article called "Scandal TBD" predicting that if the Republicans won the House and Obama got reelected in 2012, then the Republicans would "try to impeach Obama and use any reason possible as pretext".

How come we never see concern-trolling the OTHER way? Let's give it a try:
As a lifelong progressive and rock-solid Democratic voter, I'm concerned that my party -- my beloved party -- has been taken over by fanatical communists and amoral perverts. I don't remember voting for this to happen. And I'm worried that it will alienate all the union members, coal miners, Hispanic Catholics, rich gays, black Christians, socially conservative Muslims, suburban wine moms and all the other diverse members of our completely untenable, crumbling "intersectional" coalition. Since we have nothing in common, and since the Democratic Party will pass bizarre extremist laws once in power, thus driving away all sane people, we instead need to unify against a single villain, to bring us together again. Therefore I'm recommending to all my fellow progressives to vote for Trump in 2020 -- and they all think it's a fantastic idea! As does my 8-year-old son, who brought me to tears of joy when he said, "Mommy, without a supervillain to defeat, how can we ever become superheroes?" Posted by: J.J. Sefton at November 14, 2019 06:24 PM (zBaqJ) Why? Because the US got ahold of a 'Black Ledger' of money from Burisma, and others, that implicated him. Two men WERE convicted of this, as it interfered in the US election, but their case was appealed and overturned. Ukraine will not use the Leger in their own Court proceedings, because it is very suspect. Meanwhile, Manafort is in Jail, and the Podesta group, which was doing the exact same thing in Ukraine, has not even had a search warrant against it as far as we can tell. Muhammed Posted by: steevy Fun historical fact: The Islamic Calendar is NOT (and never has been) in sync with the solar year: instead of 365.25 days long, the Islamic year is based on lunar cycles and thus is 354 days long -- which is why Ramadan changes from year to year and is never on a "fixed date" from our vantage point. Anyway, they used this 354-day year back in Mohammed's time as well, which means that Aisha was only nine 354-day-long years old -- meaning that she is 9x11=99 days younger than we assume. Thus there is a 99/365= 27% chance that she was EIGHT years old when he had sex with her! Posted by: zombie at November 14, 2019 06:31 PM (fK2gX) 134

Posted by: CN at November 14, 2019 06:55 PM (U7k5w) _______ We have two senior cat siblings (16), both with chronic kidney disease -- wifey is a full-time cat nurse with all their medications, supplements, sodium chloride subcutaneous fluids, etc. When we rescued them 13 years ago from some militant adoption in California (they conducted a thorough interview, including coming to inspect our home, and said that we were caretakers only and they ultimately still owned them), the final question was "How much money would you be willing to spend on their medical care if they got sick?" Not wanting to blow it by coming in with a low-ball offer, I blurted out "$50,000." My wife gave the the WTF look ... and we did adopt them. Funny thing is that now we've actually spent over half that by now -- with every appointment every quarter costing us $300 each and sometimes $500-$1000 for various other issues that arise. 261 N.L. Urker, where will you be going?
Saying "going to Africa" can mean many different things. At least if you go to South Africa there is a tiny bit of normal civilization, though the communists are turning it into a Hell-hole lately. They've come together in the last couple of weeks due to their Rugby side emerging victorious in the WC. Anywhere else in Africa you're taking your life into your hands. Good luck. We'll be praying for you. Posted by: Sharkman at November 14, 2019 07:01 PM (IrbWq) I'm off to Uganda. I feel perfectly safe. Posted by: N.L. Urker. I don't see it happening. Rudi has been loyal to Trump, and most importantly, there is no crime. Some plow music by THE Stan Rogers
shorturl.at/fhtzP Posted by: Commissar Hrothgar ------- Until I was 8 or 9, my grandfather still worked his farm with two mules. Mary and Belle. As a kid, I would hitch and unhitch full/empty sleds for the tobacco as it was harvested and hauled to the pack house. I still have the mortgage papers that were used to buy seed each year. And now, I hear about hyper-pampered near-adults needing 'safe places' because someone has used a non-preferred pronoun. *spit* Posted by: Mike Hammer, etc., etc. at November 14, 2019 07:06 PM (CDGwz) 285

N.L. Urker, you may want to look at a dog sitter. Paisley has found a lot of security in you and her surroundings. She is used to you being gone because she has the security of her home.
