EMT 09/22/19

Daughter uses tissue to dab nose, throws it away, uses a new one to dab nose further.

Me: You are wasting my money every time you throw away a tissue like that.

Daughter: But you have 2 jobs. You have lots of money.

Me: I'll have more if I sell you for scientific research.

Daughter: [runs crying to Mama]

Somehow I'm the bad guy here.

2 Good Morning Morons; today is Sunday, September 22, 2019. On this day in 1941 the real day (or days) of infamy took place. On the Jewish New Year Day, the German SS murdered 6,000 Jews in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. Those are the survivors of the previous killings that took place a few days earlier in which about 24,000 Jews were executed. So in just a few days they executed 30,000 Russian Jews and the world yawned.

Stupid AOC is arguing for the long cherished dream of the communist party for DC statehood thus giving the communists two more guaranteed Democrat senators and one more Rep. In the argument she spouted that DC was the first place to 'free' the slaves. Is there no subject that she is not incredibly stupid in? If they ever make DC a 'State' I want my yard to be a State.

34 I really, really do not understand the hatred for Notre Dame football. If you watched the game ND stayed in it with GA. The score was 23-17. Not a whupping. All in all in was an entertaining game. It was played between the hedges. And a better outcome then expected. Too many false start penalties for the Domers, but other then that a good game.
GA has a very good team. I give them credit where credit is due. Good quarterback.

45 The whole Biden-Trump-Ukraine situation illustrates in clear and stark terms that the media are corrupt Democrat apparatchiks.
Biden is on tape literally saying he used the pressure of losing aid on Ukraine to drop an investigation involving his son and the media just tries to flip it as a Trump scandal when he wants it rightly re-visited.

This also illustrates the stark danger of the Deep State as it applies to Trump.

They are monitoring and watching every move he makes and is essentially a President operating with under extreme duress with enemies both internal and external to the executive branch.

This situation is extremely dangerous and must end.

"The Great Frederick Fair's number one priority is the safety and security of our guests," officials stated in a post on the fair's Facebook Page. The team of security and law enforcement was able to respond rapidly to control and contain the incident. The investigation into this incident remains active and any further information regarding the assault will be released from the Sheriff's Office."

Because Gowdy doesn't know what an indictment looks like.

If someone were to walk into Times Square in the middle of the day and shoot ten people. That person would want Gowdy to be the prosecutor because the shooter would be back on the streets free before the paperwork is even complete.

Also, the justice legal court system is so dysfunctional and corrupt that the jurors would probably indict the prosecutor for wasting their time.

When I was a kid, CBS did NFL, NBC did AFL, ABC did nothing (until Monday Night Football).

Now it something like CBS does AFC, FOX does NFC, NBC does a late game on Sunday, ESPN takes the Monday Night Game, and the "NFL Channel" has something on Thursday Night.

Fortunately I don't have a television so I don't care.

In the Olden Thymes, there were multiple selectors of national titles. A team that won all of them was all a "consensus national champ." Didn't happen often.

Michigan State got a piece of that 1966 action, and though you'll hate me for bringing this up, one reason Bama wasn't favored was that they were a segregated team. MSU did very well because (to his credit) Bear Bryant referred the black players he couldn't play to Duffy Daugherty.

The end of segregation in college football had the side effect of wrecking the Spartans' talent pipeline.

176 Oh, and 'morning everyone.

After posting here yesterday I pretty much sacked out. I've been pushing my recovery too fast and so spent the bulk of the day in an unconscious state, only rousing myself late in the afternoon.

So I missed the MiMoMe as well as Michigan's epic thrashing at the hands of the Badgers. So sad.

And I crashed early, so didn't see the results of the evening games.

BOLD STATEMENT: Jim Harbaugh isn't a good or average coach, but a bad one. He does less with more, every year. Never less than a top ten recruiting class, never gets a top ten finish. Guy pads his win totals by pounding basement-dwellers and then loses - often spectacularly - against peer-level teams. His two wins against State were against some of our weakest teams in the last 20 years and both were very close games. Even a 3-9 squad gave him a run for his money.

The guy is objectively bad.

Which is great, as far as I'm concerned. Renew his contract!

Besides, I didn't ask the government to tax the Hell out of me to warehouse illiterate children then foist these disasters out in to a globally competitive market.

If Warren wants to take credit for everyone's education, she needs to start paying reparations to all of the tax payers who have been swindled out of trillions of dollars to only get a bunch of fat, lazy union goons who turn out illiterate barbarian snowflakes.

SC used to finance the schools through property taxes. The NAACP sues ion federal court because they lived in counties with low value property and did not pay a lot of school tax. Amazingly enough the court ruled in favore of SC but the judge made one of those incredibly stupid political statements with his decision that
SC should address this some way or another. So they supposedly
eliminated the school tax on property and raised the sales tax by 2
cents. My county just added it back in as a local option tax. So I
get to pay both.

BTW, the scones turned out awesome!

259 Whe FOX "stole" the NFL from CBS, that was the day they became a true national TV station.

The FOX executives understood the value as a lead in for Sunday night TV and for advertising the rest of their line up.

CBS hilariously refused to up their bid and could easily have won that fight.

They expected FOX to fail (cuz their cost to buy the rights had been "high") and for the NFL to come crawling back.

One of the all-time great stupid blunders by The Experts of Our Non-Elite Elite.

I think this is the beginning of the end of Biden's campaign. It should be because of the obvious corruption, but the Left doesn't ever care about that. What is going to enrage them is that they expect Biden to fight back and Take It To Trump, and he isn't going to be able to. For one thing, he already has confessed to the charges on tape (as you stated), and there's no "good" way to explain that, which is why until now they've just tried to ignore it. Second, he's old and confused, and simply does not have the ability to make a rational, coherent argument.

And when the Prog activists watch him fold under pressure like a cheap lawn chair, they're going to despise him and turn on him completely. His support on the left is going to evaporate - it only ever rested on the myth of "electability", and once that's gone, Joe has got nothin'.

That ruling was a HUGE conservative win on the court, one that will have ramifications on state elections forever. I suppose I'm not surprised because it's technical and doesn't involve any compelling "narratives" - but it's an important case to recall when people wonder as to the value of a conservative court.

In 50 years, scholars will look back and rate that as perhaps the most important SCOTUS ruling of 2019.

Something is wrong with the Matrix. Ukraine is a lot more damaging to the left than just Biden's corruption, it threatens to really blow up the Russia collusion narrative. So why would a deep stater intentionally make Ukraine the focus of attention?

Further, the IC has no control over the president. They have no right to file a whistleblower complaint against the president. And a tweet from Adam Schiff dated August 28th demonstrates that he knew this was coming weeks ago, sort of a replay of the Russia collusion rollout.

Interesting times.

Absent other evidence, I think the obvious explanation must be the one we go with - these are intensely stupid, shortsighted people who live totally inside their own ideological bubbles and they have no clue how the things they do will play out once they step outside that bubble.

Exhibit A - Adam Schiff, at the middle of all this. Adam Schiff is an *intensely* stupid person, one so stupid that he thinks it's fine to tell boldfaced, idiotic lies in public repeatedly, and that no one will ever notice that he's lying, and that it won't hurt his credibility in the future. Schiff, Nadler, the Squad, on and on - the ones that we know of are ALL intensely Stupid people, unable to understand the consequences of their own actions.

I think it's reasonable to assume that their disciples and followers squirreled away in the Bureaucracy are cut from the same cloth. We tend to build our enemies up in our own heads, to make them bigger, stronger, and scarier than they are. But in this case, I don't think that is warranted.
