That kind of thing confuses me. How many people like that must have known what Michael Jackson was up to? And yet there's really just a handful of victims who've told thorough, convincing stories. None of the support staff, the people who must have observed it all.

And the mother generally wasn't able to stop what was happening even if she wanted to. My contention is that this scandal is way bigger than Epstein. He was a cog, a high level and valuable one but just a cog.

Maybe. There was that guy who procured girls for Top Men back in the sixties, and it wound up taking down Howard MacMillan's government. (I know about it because of a movie.)
The whole thing was his brainchild, his passion project. The network was global, but that guy was not just a cog. I imagine Epstein was similar, but he got tons of money out of it unlike that British guy, who did it for thrills.

The kids whose parents allow them to do private auditions with the casting people/director/producer get hired. The kids whose parents insist on being in the room at all times don't.
The Weinstein scandal demonstrated why so many actresses disappear from Hollywood and others, oftentimes less talented ones, work consistently.
Given that we know this happens in Hollywood, is it so hard to believe this is also the case in other professions/industries?

To carry my paranoia a little deeper there is nothing to stop the deep state from using the blackmail to get what they want, and from using the compromised elites to compromise others by creating more pedo blackmail evidence.
