Elizabeth Warren to Actual Indians: I'm Like Sorry or Whatever I Claimed to be an Indian Everytime I Was Applying for a Job or Running for Senate

Actually she didn't say that; she should have said that.

What she offered was a calculatedly vague non-apology:

"Like anyone who has been honest with themselves, I know I have made mistakes," the Massachusetts senator said at a forum on Native American issues in this pivotal early voting state. "I am sorry for the harm I have caused."

This outgassing of calculated haze and obscurity provides three benefits for her:

1, it permits her to claim she apologized, but

2, it offers no specific admissions of definite actions or intent which could be used against her in the upcoming months, and

3, it is the predicate for a Hillary Clinton Special -- claiming "these questions have all been raised and answered" when in fact exactly none of these questions were ever answered.

She has never asked her schools to open up her files and reveal whether she used her claimed Indian heritage for advancement, or whether such claimed heritage was ever a factor in her advancement.

Monday's remarks were an effort to move past the fallout from her past claims of tribal ancestry, which culminated in a widely criticized release of a DNA analysis last year...

Now that Warren is gaining in most polls, she's trying to prove to voters that the controversy won't doom her in a general election matchup against Trump. The detailed policy agenda to help Native Americans that she released last week helped her secure a warm reception from attendees at the tribal forum.

After drawing a standing ovation, Warren said "I have listened and I have learned a lot" from conversations with Native Americans in recent months, describing herself as "grateful" for the dialogue.

Oh -- like Hillary Clinton's "Listening Tour," after which she declared all questions you have about my corruption have been answered.

...

She did not receive any questions about her own background.

...

As of Monday, her campaign website’s page containing a video and other materials Warren had released on the DNA analysis was no longer active.

She isn't resigning the Senate seat she won partly on the basis of claiming to be partly Cherokee and partly Delaware:

1 Also, it allows Warren to claim the precious virtue of having "been honest with herself." Which is all her supporters, especially the narcissistic millennial demographic among them, really care about.

I think she will end up being the candidate. My millennial Jewish half-brother has adored her from the beginning. I will at least give her the credit due to someone who was canny enough to rise from the lower middle class to the "elite" by using her brains and being savvy to the racket that claiming that Native heritage could give her a leg up. At least she didn't marry a scumbag and tag along for the ride like Hillary.

That being said, if she is the nominee, Trump will win. Many women do not like to vote for women. Men will lie and say they are voting for her and then in the privacy of the ballot box will think about how a woman's brain is 1/3 the size of a man's and vote Trump.

On further reflection, mif'al is not common in Arabic and when it does appear, it is generally a loanword. "minbar" is supposed to be Ethiopic and "mihrab", Yemeni. I'd assumed it was more common than it was because, hey, mostly I read the Quran and not actual classical Arabic.

142 An apology is MEANINGLESS if it doesn't state WHAT EXACTLY you did wrong.

"Apology" is a speech in defense of an accusation. Many people gratuitously assume that it also involves repentance.

Lets say that someone decided to smash her in the face with a baseball bat. They could make an apology by saying "you deserved it, and I would do it again.. hold still". That is an apology because it is in defense of an accusation of battery.

Repentance is something totally different, and is a characteristic completely unknown to any of the Left.

Yesterday I decided to go for a swim at the club pool. Laid out my gear for lap swimming and was just entering the water when a H1B anchor baby jumped in just seconds ahead of me. The father came up and said "I'm sorry, but my kid wanted to go swim". That was it. No action to remove his son from the lane. I asked "when you said I'm sorry did you really mean Fuck You? because if you were indeed sorry, your undisciplined and rude child would not be continuing on, and you wouldn't be making lame excuses for why I should just accept this antisocial behavior".

Their culture, a passive-aggressive one is where they will due rude and obnoxious things, lie to you about being sorry, but continue on as if those words were magical. Sort of like putting a smiley emoticon after an insult.

The Left is very much like that.

143 Arabic and Hebrew are not mutually intelligible but if you know one then it is easy to learn the other.

In European terms, it might be like a Frog trying to learn Italian.

French and Italian separated more recently, but Hebrew and classical Arabic are mostly fossilised from an earlier date. Modern Arabic dialects on the other hand are nuts, especially out in Morocco and Algeria where they are stuffed with Berberisms and French.

Seems the Choctaws (and probably Cherokee cousins) had a thing for them visiting Viking guys/gals way back when.

But yeah. People told me in college to apply for freebies, which I found laughable. I've got equal parts German, Irish, French...

Anyway, flight logs prove Andrew and the then 17-year old girl Virginia Roberts were in the same place at the same time every time she claimed he sexed her.

Also, Andy was warned to stay away from Epstein 'cause of his taste for underaged girls, and Andy replied, "Don't be a Puritan!". So....

And, I think someone above mentioned it -- Ghislaine staged that whole In-Out Burger photo. The dog wasn't even hers, but her lawyer's dog.

Where did Epstein get his girls? He was quoted in one story as laughing that with enough money, anyone can be bought. That includes the parents of the young girls.

This French POS, Jean-Luc Whoever, the one who gave Epstein the present of 12-yr old triplets, got those triplets by offering the parents lucrative modeling contracts.

The Fox and other talking heads apparently don't believe them to be worth a shit, either, based on how little they reference these polls. Well, Trump is a polarizing guy. If you voted for him last time, during the onslaught of opprobrium for Trump, and the constant drumbeat of Hillary's inevitability and the final destruction of deplorable America, you're not changing your mind.

Conversely, if you're dedicated enough to drag yourself to a voting booth for Empress Thundershart in order to stop him, neither are you.

If your people aren't close to the middle, they're unlikely to come along.

Trump's win alone is enough to legitimize him in the eyes of many formerly skeptical/reluctant voters. Moreover, his performance has been solid, and he's avoided enraging the Right or the center so far. And I believe the media's perpetual four alarm, level eleven freakout is perversely further legitimizing him, by virtue of their shrieking madness turning people off.

345 Interesting fact about the British base Camp Bastion, which adjoined our Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan.

Bastion had an actual pub with beer being served, and TVs and things. Our Marines weren't allowed to go there because they weren't allowed to consume alcohol their entire deployment to Shitcanistan, because it would offend their "hosts."

The Brits did one thing right.

But, here's what I found fascinating: when, early last year, dead bang in the middle of "retail politics don't matter because no one cares right now" season, this dude was packing arenas.

With electric crowds, and a weird, energetic feedback loop that jacks up both the audience and the candidate.

There is almost no escaping it. Depending on where you go it's illegals, or crazies and bums, or obnoxious H1B's, or antifa goons. Or some combination of any of those.

It's going to get really interesting during the Face Colander times; farther from CA's orbit than OR, and a smaller population than most think. And with a smaller percentage of turf under the writ of the state capitol, with significant geographical barriers already in place between regular America and batshit-land.

374 Even before Kerry was nominated, the polls showed him all through the late summer, autumn and early winter of 2003/2004 beating Bush. It's the same bullshit every time. The only way Trump loses is if the economy tanks, and that effort is well underway. There will be massive voter fraud but Trump probably will get the monster turn out to offset it.

One difference is Fox is Never Trump overall but like all news outlets its power and influence has waned and collapsed.

All that written, is some ways Warren or another Marxist-lite probably is the greatest threat to Trump, particularly if the economy gets shaky. Fox and the rest of the cucks want Biden but that ain't happening. The Democrats aren't even about to hide their preference for socialism this time out and will vote accordingly.

PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS

"Indian Reservation"

(John D. Loudermill)

They took the whole Cherokee nation
Put us on this reservation
Took away our ways of life
The tomahawk and the bow and knife
Took away our native tongue
And taught their English to our young
And all the beads we made by hand
Are nowadays made in Japan

Cherokee people, Cherokee tribe
So proud to live, so proud to die

They took the whole Indian nation
Locked us on this reservation
Though I wear a shirt and tie
I'm still part redman deep inside

Cherokee people, Cherokee tribe
So proud to live, so proud to die
But maybe someday when they learn
Cherokee nation will return, will return,
will return, will return, will return

Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at August 19, 2019 09:22 PM (5aX2M)

I was lucky enough to see Reagan give a speech live, once, and of courses a lot on TV. Reagan was the most dynamic, compelling speaker that I have ever seen in politics, he was up there with the best professional motivational speakers I have ever seen. Democrats derided the fact that he had been an actor, without understanding that he had spent his entire life learning how to reach out and not just communicate, but to reach people and make people believe he was on their side.

Trump is good - Trump is by far better than any current politician, but he's really just a good old fashioned populist, with a pugnacious streak. He's been handed a huge opportunity because the MSM pitches lies so outrageously that one man who stands up and says 'THEY ARE LYING!" looks like a genius.

Trump is the man for his time - but Reagan was a once in a century orator, almost on the level of a Lincoln or a Jefferson. It was a joy and a privilege just to be able to listen to him.

Is there one sane Democrat? The ones I see have all of these utterly bizarre behaviors and weird ideas.

Beato: no idea what he's doing...he looks odd and is all jumpy like he's shaking his dick at a urinal, all the while saying everyone in the US is a huge racist. How Presidential is that? Good grief.

Buttyjugg: guy gets all pissy when he talks about Christians, and then slams them, all the while having this insane insincere aw-shucks bullshit facade. Plus, he is married to a dude...not Presidential.

Kamala the Ugandan Giant: where is she...who is she.

Biden: lost his marbles, can't keep his lies straight...not Presidential.

Apache Joan: that fucking voice of hers, worse than fingernals on a chalkboard, like a billion fingernails on a billion chalkboards. That fake pleading, searching for truth and all that. So fake and preposterous.

I was in 6th grade, and another student, a girl who fashioned herself an actress, gave a presentation on Helen Keller...she had the same fake and over-earnest bullshit...as soon as the girl started in with the first word "Water..." I completely lost it, there was something so ridiculous about the whole thing, so over-acting and performancy. I couldn't take it, and was doubling up in laughter, I got in real trouble with the nun, although she was a progressive nun, she was laughing at my laughing.

Perhaps what made it funny to me was the absolute cluelessness of that girl, she had no idea how goddamned stupid she looking being all actressy and fake. I saw right through it.

Injun Joan is the same, completely fake but she doesnt know how stupid she sounds.

Chondritis
can feel like that, often gets mistaken for a heart attack. Its an
inflammation of cartilage. You might get a small pain spike in the
center of your chest if you try to stretch out your arms out, and
sometimes breathing. Usually it can hurt to the touch. I would get it
occasionally from working with tools and pulling big torque with a
torque wrench or breaker bar. BUT....but, I never felt tired. Thats a tad scary sounding, and I wouldn't screw around with this. You don't get second chances.

That's probably not a bad description - I've seen some old film of him, Huey could be spellbinding in front of a crowd. There's a reason FDR in the beginning thought Huey Long was his most dangerous rival. Also, people forget that Huey Long was one of the first Southern Democrats to actively court and appeal to the Black Vote, and he did it very well. Democrats eventually absorbed almost all of Huey Long's platform except for the wealth confiscation, and even that they still long for.

493 Simple Greenland[/] solution for the President in response to his critics who can't imagine the U.S. buying land.

Rename it the Malvinas, let the Argies invade and then we liberate the Danes again.

494 Beato: no idea what he's doing...he looks odd and is all jumpy like he's shaking his dick at a urinal, all the while saying everyone in the US is a huge racist. How Presidential is that? Good grief. "

Beato is really entering totally unexplored territory - I don't think *any* candidate for a major office has ever gone out, with a big budget, and *deliberately* destroy their chances to ever win any public office, ever!

Just look at what Beato has done in the last 2 weeks alone - first he came out for national gun registration and gun confiscation, well that kills him in Texas forever; then when the Houston paper asked him to please get serious and run against Cornyn for Senator, he said no, because "The Senate wasn't good enough for him." So, all in for President - except then he said he wasn't going to campaign in Iowa, since Iowa wasn't good enough for him, either.

and now today he comes out and says we should all admit that America was founded on racism, has always been racist, and is still racist today. And we should all be ashamed of America because of that. Now that is one heck of a Presidential Campaign Message.

504 Obviously, she owes her whole professional and political career to the lie. Apologies to graduates of the schools in advance, but Harvard Law isn't going out of their way to hire Houston/Rutgers grads for prominent teaching positions unless they check off some sort of rare, hard-to-fill diversity box.
