He is a fit, principled, Army combat vet that is getting on in age. He has a few horses, and is tough. The Victorians would call him well-knit, not looming.
He says there is a lot more support for President Trump than the polls show. I believe him.

But OM I haven't had a bit of concern for Trump's political position or prospects for some time. It's the GOP, derailed/degraded institutions, frighteningly alien and nutso Dems, and the lack of results in select key areas that are troubling.

But from what I've been told Hypalon can be tougher to repair and usually best left to a pro.
I wouldn't sell the PVC short though. It's come a long way since the early days and unless you abuse it will last a long time.

Just a whole lot less fatiguing for a long day on the water.
And in a rare occurrence here at Ace of Spades, all previous comments are correct. Hyplaon is tougher, but you'd be well served to take a repair course from a pro. PVC has sure come a LONG way over the past few decades, it's more easily repaired by an amateur, but also more likely to *need* such repair.
One thing I saw on a hard-working Hypalon "yard boat", was a heavy Sunbrella "shirt" over the side-tubes, held tight with drawstring through eyelets. It only covered the main side tubes, not the front angles or bow.
Obviously "site-made", but it did take a lot of abuse that wouldn't have benefited the bare Hypalon tubes beneath.
Keep in mind this was about a 14' inflatable with a 25 hp four stroke. They used it to move much larger boats around by means of "on the hip" towing and maneuvering.
Worked like a champ, it did. They also used it for everything else, like paint work on the side of a boat "away" from the dock, waxing and buffing, hauling the bottom cleaner's compressor and dive gear, and anything else they could think of.
They oughta name that boat the S.S. Timex. It just keeps on tickin' along.

Hopefully Trump had gotten the best intel by the time he retweeted that guy that said "Clintons did it" basically. But we will see if normal procedures were broken, as happened with all the Trump/Russia stuff and all the special handling for Hillary.
