Speaking of lunatic NeverTrumpers-turned-Democrats: David French is complaining that Christians (yes, Christians, see the "baptismal waters" reference) support Trump just because of Muh Judges, as French's copilot Tom Nichols would say.

He brings up the "shocking" number of women who came forward to make accusations against Trump -- like that woman in the last post.

He doesn't note that he, himself allegedly a Christian (though I guess he wants to save the Big Guy some work by doing all of His judging for Him), defended Brett Kavanaugh despite the "shocking" number of women who came forward to accuse him.

What's the difference, apart from the fact that French considers Kavanaugh to be part of his class and Trump to be a class enemy?

Can David French tell us, without knowing first if the accusations are against Trump or a member of The Guild first, which evidence-free accusers, full of a curious level of political synchronicity, should be believed, and which should have proof demanded of them?

And frankly, the cowardice of his fellow NR staffers -- many of whom profess being Christian themselves -- to confront him on this point makes them complicit in his nasty anti-Christian sneers.

They're fond of babbling "What if Obama did this?" where "this" is any outrage they're claiming Trump guilty of this week.

Well, what if Obama routinely smeared Christians as being insincere and impious and frankly apostate for their political beliefs?

Actually, of course, Obama did do that, as have many Democrats since.

And they do criticize Democrats for playing the Jesus Wants You to Vote Democrat card.

But when David French does it? When David French insists and insists that Jesus told him that you must help elect a Democrat as president?

Does no one at the allegedly-Christian National Review have the testosterone to stand up to this ludicrous Pharisee in their midst?

It's always been widely believed that Luke was Paul's amenuensis, who accompanied him on his journeys, especially since Paul mentions Luke as a co-worker. Luke undoubtedly outlived Paul's execution, but it was not "generations" later.

As we mentioned recently, it's also widely believed from the context that Luke personally interviewed Mary for his Gospel, and also that he was quite familiar with several of the disciples. Traditionally, it's held that Luke died in 84 AD, in Thebes, Greece.
