Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Breitbart: FaceBook Has a List of Conservative Speakers They Deem to be "Hate Agents" Who Are Pre-scheduled for BanningHey, monopolies are always more efficient, right? They certainly are very efficient at limiting political speech before a major election. Let's devote another fifty years to servicing them, both legislatively and sexually.Facebook maintains a list of "hate agents" for monitoring and potential termination, according to a source inside the company. Among the names reportedly on the "hate agent" list? Star pundit and black conservative activist Candace Owens. According to the source, a Facebook employee who spoke exclusively to Breitbart News, the spreadsheet of "hate agents" that includes Owens was posted to an internal employee discussion group initially founded by Brian Amerige, the former Facebook engineer who quit the company over concerns about political intolerance. The source claimed that the spreadsheet includes the names of prominent right-wing and alternative media figures who were recently banned from the platform. Candace Owens is also included in the spreadsheet, in a separate category marked "extra credit." A Facebook spokeswoman confirmed to Breitbart News that the list exists, and did not deny that Owens' name appears on it, but believes that there has not yet been an investigation into her.The list is "related to" the purge that took Paul Joseph Watson and others on May 2nd. So how long for Candace Owens and the others on the list? Well, apparently for Candace Owens, the time came last week.
The signals are divided into Level One (signals that occurred in the past year), Level Two (two years) and Level Three (three years). Signals include hate speech, support for a "designated hate entity" or "designated hateful ideology," calls for violence, the promotion of ethnostates, acts of violence from supporters, and possession of "hate paraphernalia."Meanwhile, FaceBook doubles down on its decision to block a Trump 2020 advisory board member. Her post made a simple and true point: That the left simultaneously pushes a theory of gender essentialism -- that women are inherently superior, that only women who can become pregnant should have input into the abortion laws, etc. -- as well as the completely contradictory theory that gender is all a social construct invented by (and here's another weird contradiction) The Patriarchy. So which is it? Is a uterus a real thing which imbues its carrier with the wisdom of all saints or is a uterus just a fiction made up to keep you down by The Man? FaceBook decided this was hateful speech and blocked her account. And she didn't even post that, really. She just quoted Matt Walsh's tweet making that point. On Wednesday, Facebook blocked Trump 2020 advisory board member Jenna Ellis Rives over a pro-life post. She appealed the decision. On Sunday, Facebook finally got back to her, and doubled down, claiming the post violated its "community standards" on "hate speech." Rives posted a photo of a tweet from blogger Matt Walsh, pointing out how transgender activism undermines key pro-choice arguments. "Gender is a social construct but I am woman hear me roar but anyone can be a woman but no uterus no opinion but transwomen are women but I demand women's rights but men are women but men are scum but drag queens are beautiful but appropriation is evil," Walsh tweeted. But #MuhHolyMonopolies. They don't want free speech or liberty, they want control.
Liberties lost are seldom regained without a fight or armed conflict. That's why liberals try to censor your viewpoints and take away your Second Amendments right, which is the final line of defense. I tell friends all the time the Democrats don't want to govern, they want to rule. In that context, it all makes sense, the attempted control of speech in the public square, the attack on ideas, the triumph of pathos over intellectual discourse and the attempt to dupe people into thinking their candidates are somehow not simply Manchurian Candidates, but mainstream and not representative of their clearly subversive agenda. It's not about black, white, Asian, Hispanic, gay, straight or any other demographic. It's about a free society, individual freedom, a country that respects constitutional liberties and American values. It's from The Intercept:
Thanks to Facebook, Your Cellphone Company Is Watching You More Closely Than Ever Among the mega-corporations that surveil you, your cellphone carrier has always been one of the keenest monitors, in constant contact with the one small device you keep on you at almost every moment. A confidential Facebook document reviewed by The Intercept shows that the social network courts carriers, along with phone makers --- some 100 different companies in 50 countries --- by offering the use of even more surveillance data, pulled straight from your smartphone by Facebook itself. Offered to select Facebook partners, the data includes not just technical information about Facebook members' devices and use of Wi-Fi and cellular networks, but also their past locations, interests, and even their social groups. This data is sourced not just from the company's main iOS and Android apps, but from Instagram and Messenger as well. The data has been used by Facebook partners to assess their standing against competitors, including customers lost to and won from them, but also for more controversial uses like racially targeted ads. Some experts are particularly alarmed that Facebook has marketed the use of the information --- and appears to have helped directly facilitate its use, along with other Facebook data --- for the purpose of screening customers on the basis of likely creditworthiness. Such use could potentially run afoul of federal law, which tightly governs credit assessments. Posted by: Lizzy at May 21, 2019 03:18 PM (W+vEI) 50

FarceBook is a large, pathetically successful site run by America-hating shitheads. That's about it. But it has no monopoly over anything. They are identifying and suspending people for speech outside of their platform. This is what happened with the recent purge of Paul Joseph Watson and others.
WOrse, there is no statute of limitations, nor differentiation between things said in private vs, public speech. This is the seedling for a Chinese style social credit scoring. These a$$holes sit in judgement of us and our private, historical behavior, as if people do not modulate what they say based on their audience (a confidant vs. a crowd) or never change throughout their lives. You said it to a BFF 12 years ago? Strike 1!!!!. The spreadsheet explains that "public statements, or statements made in private and later made public" can be categorized as Hate Speech by Facebook. Even though the first incident occurred in 2007 and the second in 2015, both are included as "Level Two Signals," which the spreadsheet describes as incidents that occurred in the past two years. Never forget the endgame here.
As said above, they want to destroy your ability to be anonymous. If you're anonymous, you might mock or criticize the global elite - that kind of behavior cannot be brooked. So they want to force you to use your real name everywhere if possible. Then, when your opinions stray from the approved narrative into badwrongthought, you will be censored from all platforms. Your bank accounts will be frozen. If you have a business, your ability to accept electronic fund transfers of any kind will be blocked. You'll be marked as an undesireable when it comes to employment. Unless you prostrate yourself and denounce your heresy - then they might take pity on you. That said, I still think FB is within its 1A rights to post or not post anything they like, just like Ace is free to refuse to post whatever he wants to "censor," just like Christian bakers OUGHT TO BE not be forced by govt to make cakes for perverts. This is a free speech issue, not an anti-trust issue. EVEN IF I thought this was a monopoly issue, you ought to be careful what you wish for, when you demand govt "solutions" to this problem. Who is going to bear the brunt of govt heavy handedness in forcing online entities to carry content they don't like? No, the enforcement will be against the little guys with no money, AND the enforcement will be just as politically motivated as the "crimes" it was meant to prevent. You can change the interface easily (I use Start10, 5$) and turn off every intrusive feature. I believe it was TPOP or Grumpy or another old-timer who posted some months ago about how good the built-in anti-virus and anti-malware protections are, and I've found that to be true. I no longer have to use third-party for either. (I am considering getting anti-beaconing from the Spybot Search and Destroy guys.) In short, no problems and no complaints. Help me out here oldsters, as I was born in late 1967:
In the 1950s, didn't you still need manual operators and "rang" numbers with titles like "Beachwood 4-5789" and so on? And the poorest among us had party lines shared by multiple homes? Posted by: Curmudgeon at May 21, 2019 03:37 PM (ujg0T) It depended a lot upon where you lived. Big cities and their close-in suburbs got direct dialing early on. Small towns and rural areas stayed with operators much longer. I have a 1903 nickel candlestick phone with an 11- hole dial on it. Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at May 21, 2019 03:54 PM (7njPr) 263
250 didn't you still need manual operators and "rang" numbers with titles like "Beachwood 4-5789" and so on.>
You still do, you just don't know the exchange that the first two numbers of your number stand for - Beachwood would be 23, so 234-5789.Of course we also paid for long distance (over 30 miles or so) and paid over $6 a minute to access the internet. At 300-1200 baud. Though that was later, in the 80's Them was the days. Posted by: FrodoB at May 21, 2019 03:51 PM (ctEmO) Let me clarify. I meant when did summoning the manual operator stop and dialing in full begin? For my lifetime, it has always been dialing in full. And later touchtoning. First 7 numbers, but now 10. Ugh, I hate area code overlap, although in an age of portable phones that may not matter either. Once upon a time, kids, an area code and a prefix could give you a person's location give or take a square mile or two. Posted by: Curmudgeon at May 21, 2019 03:54 PM (ujg0T) 264

Ironically, the guy who first invented an automatic dialing method did so in protest to biased behavior by the phone company. He was a funeral home director. One of his competitor's had a wife who worked for the local phone company. Some one would call and ask the operator to connect them with the "funeral home". the world and can be replicated easily. The only reason that FarceBook is as big as it is is because: 1) Silicon Valley companies collude with each other to stifle competition - and THIS can be legitimately pursued in law .... FarceBook is nothing like electric ultilities or phone companies, where you have to get rights-of-way and lay down thousands of miles of line over all sorts of property - private and public. But the collusion together part is powerful, and the funding (I'm guessing) seems to be pushed by a few oligarchs with intent to use their control to push TheNarrative, and punish the bad people. It would take a serious RICO type investigation to uncover the coordinated lists, that get FB blocking and PayPal and others to coordinate their attacks on certain types (conservatives). Also, building new platforms takes time and building the base of participants/customers is not easy when a few already dominate. imo there is a top down seditious/malicious effort ... the foundations want to run the world (oligarchs). Party lines and prefixes like Sussex and Capital were still around well into the 80s and probably 90s.
If you lived in a big town like Houston you knew approximately where a call was coming from by the prefix. If you lived in a small town everybody had the same prefix. If you lived in a really small town several people shared a line and knew to answer by the ring count. Think 2 longs and a short, or three shorts, etc. If you knew your neighbor wasn't home it was quite typical to answer their call because any phone call was important. And if it came after dark it was usually bad news. Posted by: DanMan at May 21, 2019 04:03 PM (XTiHL) 306

Not sure if I've mentioned this in here before. In Cuba they had the CDC or CDR in every neighborhood. It was basically the committee for the defense of the revolution. Their job was to watch closely whatever their neighbors were doing and report anything that they deemed anticommunist to the communist party people. Anything could get a person sent to prison or to be shot. Another alternative was to be sent to a psyche ward and receive free electroshock 'therapy' because only crazy people opposed the communist ideology.

I recall moving from the pagers to cell phones. Our company had about 30 pagers for some of the staff and we could get pretty good at coding each other.
Then came the bag phone. We'd share it and we had to take a seminar before we could use it. Because we got charges for any fraction of a minute we were told to answer with our name, get to the point and get off. To this day I still answer my cell phone with my name (weeds out a lot of junk calls) but answered Hello? on the land line I gave up 6 months ago. You also likely want to ditch many apps you've used on the same devices and go for a factory reset, if on a mobile platform; FB's sharing agreements means they're going to continue tracking your location, scraping your contacts, videos, and pics, abusing your camera/mic/accellerometer, and tracking your browsing activity and app install info even after you stop using FB. FB isn't just FB itself - it's now a massive constellation of linked apps from hundreds of sources. Those apps forward all collected data to FB, much of which is hoovered up via methods even FB wouldn't use. In turn, FB grants them access to all data they have on you, including data they've received from other sources. Posted by: lurker (the other one. buy radios too) at May 21, 2019 04:13 PM (eAshZ) 352

I don't use Facebook. Never have. I still find it interesting that people can't be an arm's length away from their phones. I, too, panic inside if I don't know exactly where my phone is at all times. I can't even imagine driving my car without the cellphone. But when you think about it, you could leave your house for hours on end, days, weeks without your landline house phone and nothing but a phone booth somewhere. And yet, even then you never saw lines of people in front of phone booths waiting for their turn.

Let me clarify. I meant when did summoning the manual operator stop and dialing in full begin? Direct dialing began in the mid to late 60's, I think. (looked it up, actually first became available in 1951, but was only rolled out fully during the 60's) I recall that at the New York World's Fair in the early 60's the touch-tone phone was being introduced. My family had just moved, and bought a house from an ATnT bigshot. One of its phones was a touch-tone. (Ooooooh!) when i was in high school (ca 1980), there was an article in the local paper announcing that the folks in nine-mile canyon had just been upgraded from crank telephones to rotary dial telephones. Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was spotted entering a congressional office building on Tuesday morning for what a committee aide told The Daily Beast was a meeting with the leaders of the House Foreign Affairs committee and relevant staff about his time working in the Trump administration.
Tillerson's appearance took place as virtually every other Trumpworld luminary has been stonewalling congressional oversight efforts. At the same time that the former Secretary of State was speaking before lawmakers, former White House counsel Don McGahn was ignoring a subpoena to testify in front of the House Judiciary Committee. Tillerson's arrival at the Capitol was handled with extreme secrecy. No media advisories or press releases were sent out announcing his appearance. And he took a little noticed route into the building in order to avoid being seen by members of the media. Posted by: SMOD at May 21, 2019 04:20 PM (QkjLD) 392

Robert S. Mueller III and House Democrats have been unable to reach an agreement on how much of the special counsel's expected congressional testimony would be public, and how much would take place in private, according to people familiar with the matter.
The special counsel's office, along with senior Justice Department officials, has been quietly negotiating with the House Judiciary Committee, whose chairman, Rep. James Varney did an article on Mexican women that warn other families ... the men will never come back. Despite the theft of children, or some real children coming, the majority are military aged men on the march. This is bad for the locals, except for the money they get in remittances ... https://tinyurl.com/y4xpcrcp doesn't build a real community or local economy ... just drains US local economies, as illegals work for cash, collect benefits, then send some money back to Mexico ... and then there is the drunk driving, high crime, third world enclaves, anti-America voting blocks, etc. Posted by: illiniwek at May 21, 2019 04:22 PM (Cus5s) 410

But another person said it is primarily the department, rather than Mueller himself, resisting a nationally televised hearing. "
If Mueller wanted to do it, there's no way the department could stop it, especially after they've said they're not blocking anything. Two men were sitting at a bar at the top of a skyscraper in Chicago. Both were bending their elbows at a steady rate. The first man said, "You know, there's such an updraft on the outside of this building, that if you jump off, you'll fall for a bit, but the updraft will catch you, and bring you right back up to this balcony. The second guy said, "I don't believe it, you'll have to prove this to me." So the first guy goes over the balcony and jumps off. He falls and falls and falls, and then he slows in mid drop, and begins rising back up. Finally, he lightly steps back onto the balcony. "See, I told you," he says. The second guy says, "I've got to try that." So he jumps off the balcony, and falls and falls and falls and falls. Finally, splat on the ground. The first guy returns to the bar and orders another drink. As he serves the drink, the bartender says, "You're a mean drunk, Superman." Posted by: Grump928(C) at May 21, 2019 04:28 PM (J567a) 445

Mueller got all him "implications" about Trump "obstructing" in the editorial part oft he report ... public testimony might lets some good guys grill him on "when did you know there was zero collusion, and why did you keep that fake narrative alive for two years?"
If Mueller testifies privately, we get more of the pencil neck Schiff allegations that "oh I can't give details, but we must impeach, it is awful, AWFUL ... Russian Stooge evidence everywhere." They just continue the fake narrative, which of necessity is fact free ... so private testimony serves them better. Posted by: illiniwek at May 21, 2019 04:44 PM (Cus5s) 520

There is an old language myth that the words "front yard" and "back yard" come from how far a yeoman could shoot a "cloth-yard shaft" and hold his land. It's not true, but I still like yards better than lawns.
You can't be a conservative and tell somebody else to get off their own lawn. Sure you're entitled to worry about your property values. You're not allowed to say so. So I don't give a good-god-damn about checking your white privilege, but from time to time we must consider whether we are conservatives or just mean. I just bought my third cousin's place. He got a sweetheart deal from the family, was mad at the world, and intended to show the world just how much. One other neighbor and I gradually, slowly, convinced him that people really do judge you by the shape your lawn is in, and got him to (pay to) have it mowed. I did some planting and re-seeding. Our efforts earned him a wife, a sorority girl with a college degree (low grade one, but, hey). Needless to say, she soon found them an unbeatable deal on a much newer, much bigger house, across the state line, in a much ritzier and lawn-aware region. I'll bet the next couple of seasons are going to be a living hell for my cousin. Another contradiction: let's say the TERFs win and drive out trans "women". That's a tacit admission that there IS no discrimination cause left against women that needs fighting for, but the opposite: that women have advantages in their favor and that any institutional discrimination is generally in their favor, and that is the reason they want to drive the trannies out: they don't want fake women encroaching on their territory.
Note: I'm not a misogynist like that Monk/WidespreadPepe guy who used to post here. I'm just piling on, observing the inherent, bizarre contradictions in the liberal platform, hoping some liberal will read what I'm saying and realizing, "don't go there".
